~Your P.O.V~

~Flashback~

"you have to feed off of human blood (y/n)! or else you'll become weak and what if you battle another vampire you'll be killed!" "bu-but mother" I look down at the now dead body of my brothers art teacher "I can't have you mess up like your idiotic brother, I clearly told him to get rid of the art teacher" "why do you talk about my brother like that!" her hand makes an impact on my cheek and all you could hear was the slap echoing

"WHY CANT YOU JUST BE LIKE FATHER HE IS NICER AND HE DOESNT FEED OFF HUMANS! WHY DONT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT HUMANS LIFES ARE MUCH MORE FRAGILE THAN OURS!" I begin to run out the house not knowing where I was going but anywhere without my mother would be fine luckily for me it was already night time so the sun couldn't hurt me

I then feel myself fall in the floor and see that I bumped into a boy with shaggy white hair and blood red eyes "I-Im sorry" he stutters and puts his hand out to help me up, I grab his hand and stand up "its ok its not your fault I wasn't watching where I was going" I apologize to him "m-my name is Shu, Shu Kurenai" "nice to meet you Shu I'm (y/n) (l/n), I hope to see you sometime soon" after that day we became best friends, "see you" I smile at him walk a little before disappearing

~End of flashback~

as always I wake up and see my father cooking up breakfast "morning father" I smile at him "morning (y/n)" he smiles back "do you know if my brother is still living with mother even though she treats him like crap" I say while looking down at my food "unfortunately yes he still is but I have to give you something before you head off to school" I nod my head and once in done with my breakfast I head to his room

he pulls out a wooden box and he then grabs a ring that has a heart cut ruby sterling silver

"(y/n) you're going to have to wear this all the time, one of the witches I used to know casted a spell on it so you can walk around in the daylight without getting hurt" he slips the ring onto my middle finger "thanks father" I hug him tightly, grab my things and head off to school well more like teleport to school wearing my usual outfit which consisted of a black hoodie and a white top with black jeans

I go to my classroom door as the teacher tells me to wait for her to say my name soon I hear my name get called and walk in through the door as I scan the room I see a familiar face "(y/n) take a seat next Shu, Shu please raise your hand" at that instant Shu raised his hand, I begin to walk towards him and sit down "hmm...(y/n) (l/n) I think I remember that name" Shu says out loud "n-no you do-" "ah yes I remember you from when we were little and you bumped into me" he smiles and my face becomes completely flushed

"so (y/n) do you want to come over to my house after school" "yea sure" I smile at him

~Time skips~

"that ring looks nice in you (y/n)" "thanks Shu, to be completely honest I didn't think you were going to remember me" I look down and feel my cheeks become hotter "well we were best friends until you suddenly just disappeared forever" we soon arrive at his house

"you live here alone?" I ask him and he nods his head "I'm going to make food for us ok" he heads to the kitchen and begins to cook as I watch him cut tomatoes and other ingredients but then he accidentally cuts himself

"Sh-Shu are you-" I couldn't finish my sentence due to my fangs beginning to come out, I quickly cover my mouth but the scent if his blood is so mouth watering I just couldn't help but run to the bathroom until my fangs aren't showing "(y/n) are you ok?" "ye-yea did you put a band aid on?" "yea why?" I slowly open the door and step out "I can't control myself around blood I'm sorry Shu" I look down and try to avoid eye contact but he pulls my face up from my chin "its ok (y/n)" he smiles at me "let's go eat" he says in a calmy yet soothing voice making my heart flutter

~Time skips~

"thanks again Shu" I wave at him and he waves back as soon as he closes the door I teleport home "how was your day at school today" I look around and see that father is sitting on the couch watching Twilight "well remember that boy Shu Kurenai I told you about when I was little" he needs his head "well I have the same classes as him and he invited me to go to his house andddd he knows how to cook delicious food" I take a deep breath

"but he accidentally cut himself while cooking and my fangs came out but the smell of his blood is intoxicating I can't control myself around him in general and with his blood its even more difficult" by the time I'm done saying that I'm practically drooling over the reminder of his blood "(y/n) one day you're going to have to take Shu so he can meet your mother and if you dont she'll find out and instantly kill him" I nod my head and try to prepare everything before that day
