Lui yawned softly as he adjusted his duffle bag on his shoulder, rubbing the growing sleep that was in his eyes. It was probably midnight by the time he left the WBBA, him not knowing the time since he forgot to grab his phone before he left their house.

Violet eyes looked up at the blackened sky, seeing it was littered with millions on millions of stars and constellations. The air was crisp as he walked, making him zip his white hoodie up slightly to shield himself from the cold. He felt the familiar fluff of his scarf on his neck, a small smile crossing his lips as a memory of his young daughter running around the house with it crossed his mind. Leila would be turning four in few months, and Lui loved seeing how perky and calm she could be. Especially perky whenever cake was involved.

Lui dug his keys out of his pocket as he walked up the front steps to his and Gabe's house, unlocking the door and pushing it open before stepping inside and closing it. Another small yawn passed his lips as he slipped his white boots off, walking down the hall toward his daughter's room. He peeked inside the small room, smiling slightly when he seen her asleep in her little princess bed, her nightlight giving the room a soft glow. Lui carefully stepped inside and walked over, kneeling down next to the bed and brushing her messy maroon hair from her pale face before he pressed a tender kiss to her little head.

He straightened himself up and walked out the door, closing it carefully before he turned his attention to the staircase. The small blader adjusted his bag again before bounding up the stairs that led to the second floor of the house. Almost to the top, Lui stalled his movements, hearing small noises through the small hallway. The flame-haired male furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, walking up the rest of the stairs and turning to the hall. The noises grew stronger as he slowly approached the closes door of his and Gabe's bedroom. Their room was the host of the strange noises, Lui's small hand reaching out and quietly turning the door handle.

A loud squeak filled his ears as he peeked inside the room, his violet eyes widening in horror at what he saw. Gabe, his partner of five years, in bed with another male. Nevertheless, the youngest member of team Rideout.

Kyo Sandai.

Lui was in shock, angry, and most of all, hurt. Tears filled his eyes as he and Gabe made eye contact, turning quicking and storming down the stairs. Gabe excused himself from the room as he threw his boxers on, moving quickly out of the room and down the stairs to catch up with him.
          "Lui wait, I can explain." The tall male started, making the smaller stop in his tracks.
          "Explain? Explain?! There is nothing for you to explain since I already know what you're doing!" Lui yelled, forcing his tears to stay as he glared harshly at his taller partner.
          "It's not what it looked like, I swear." Gabe tried, swallowing his breath.
          "You were cheating on me with a member from the team! Having sex with someone who wasn't your husband!" A single tear ran down his burning cheek, the anger causing his face to flush a light red.

Gabe opened his mouth to say something but immediately closed it, watching Lui push past him to get to his daughter's room. He grit his teeth and reached out, snagging Lui's arm to stop him.
          "Lui please, I'm sorry..." He said softly, sadness starting to cloud his eyes. Lui whipped back and slapped him hard across the face, making Gabe hiss and release his arm. The baby blue-haired male walked into Leila's room, carefully picking his small daughter up and draping one of her blankets on her to keep her warm. He walked out and brushed past Gabe once again, not even looking at him as he walked to the door.
           "Lui... Please don't do this... I'm sorry" Gabe said softly, walking a but closer.
           "Sorry won't undo what happened Gabe... I thought you loved me, but I guess I was wrong..." Lui snapped, getting his boots on once more before walking out of the door, closing it a little hard behind him. Gabe took in a breath and sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he felt so stupid. He dropped his hand and turned, walking back up the stairs to talk to Kyo.

Leila cuddled into her mother's neck, a small smile on her face when she felt the familiar fluff of her favorite thing ever. Thankfully, she didn't wake up when he and Gabe were fighting, the small male sighing softly as he walked down the sidewalk, adjusting the small girl in his arms gently. He held her close and hid his face in the bundled blanket slightly, fighting off the cold as hot tears coated his cold, flushed cheeks.

The baby blue flame-haired male looked around as he walked, crossing the street when he seen a familiar house coming up. He swallowed thickly and walked up to the front door, trying to brush his tears away before he knocked on the door. He waited for a minute and then it hit him. It was almost one in the morning and all the lights were off. Everyone was asleep. Lui sighed and turned away from the door, about to walk away.
           "Lui?" A small, familiar voice called, making him look back at the door. Valt was standing in the doorway, his hair a mess and his chocolate brown eyes dull from lack of sleep. "What are you doing here?"

Lui turned back to the door, adjusting Leila once again in his arms as he stared at the other male.
          "I need a favor Valt..." He said softly, swallowing again as his eyes shone with tears. Valt waved him in, stepping aside and closing the door after he walked in. Lui carefully got his boots off and sat on the couch, laying his sleeping daughter next to him.
           "What happened? What's the matter?" Valt asked, sitting in the chair adjacent to the couch. The flame-haired male looked down sadly, his pale hands gripping his hoodie as he took a small breath in.
           "Gabe was cheating on me with a teammate..."
           "A teammate? Like one of the other Rideout members? That sounds horrible..." Valt said softly, sympathy for the small Spin Emperor filling his eyes.
           "It is... We got into a huge fight, words were exchanged before I took Leila and left..."
           "So, what's the favor?"
           "Can we stay here for the night? Just for this night... Tomorrow, I'll take her to my aunt's house a town over..."

Valt smiled warmly at him, standing and stretching slightly.
           "Of course you can. My family loves it when you come by, and the twins love to play with Leila." He said, running a hand through his dark blue hair. "I'll get you a pillow and blanket, you look exhausted."
Lui rubbed his eyes slightly and looked at him, shrugging slightly.
            "I guess, thanks Valt..."

Upon the morning, Leila was excited when she woke up, seeing they were at 'Unky Valtie's house' as she put it. Lui often paid  visits to the Aoi house after she was born. Waking up in the morning, the small male grew sad when he realized his situation wasn't a terrible dream in the first place. Lui and Leila sat at the kitchen table with Valt and his twin brother and sister, the toddler sitting in her mother's lap as they ate breakfast Valt's mom had prepared. She was excited to see Lui was here but was saddened when she heard about his dilemma, offering that he stay at the house instead of having to take a train to the next town.
           "I appreciate the offer but I can't bear to see him if we run into each other. What he did was unforgivable." The flame-haired male said, the twins taking Leila to play after they finished eating breakfast.
           "It may be unforgivable, but are you really willing to skip town because of it? Willing to cut your daughter's father from both of your lives?" Valt's mom asked, glancing at him as she washed dishes. Lui opened his mouth to answer but closed it immediately. She had a point, he hated to admit it. Leila was at the age that losing her  dad would be really hard on her, and Lui wanted the best for his baby girl.

           "Can you watch Leila for me? I have some business to take care of..." The baby blue-haired blader asked, standing suddenly.
           "Sure thing sweetie! Going to talk it out with him?"
           "Yes..." Lui walked from the kitchen, smiling slightly when he seen his daughter playing with the twins. "Be good for everyone while I'm gone sweetie..." He said, kneeling down and kissing her head. Leila giggled and smiled, hugging her mother tightly.
            "I will mommy!" She said cutely, pressing a little kiss to his cheek. Lui smiled slightly and ruffled her hair, getting his scarf on and walking out the door, his smile dropping as he started walking.

            "Explain. Right now." Lui growled, standing in front of Gabe who sat on the couch. "How long have you two been having an affair?" He knew that Gabe couldn't lie, he's not capable of it.
            "It was just last night. He came over while you were out training to talk about strategies he wanted to use for his next match. So I let him in, and at first, everything was fine. Leila was already asleep and Kyo started exploring around the house before finally making it to our room. I was tired and he tricked me into having sex with him. I knew it was wrong but I somehow couldn't stop myself... I'm sorry..." Gabe explained, fumbling with his fingers as he looked at him slightly. Lui took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, sighing softly.
           "I believe you..." He said, opening his eyes again. Gabe stopped breathing for a second, looking at him with a joy in his eyes.
           "Really?"
           "Yeah. One, I know you don't lie. It's one of the reasons why I love you. Two, I know Kyo has been crushing on you... It hurts knowing that he was trying to break us up..."

Gabe reached forward and took Lui's hands gently, kissing them softly before pulling him into his lap and holding him. Lui blushed slightly and set his hands on his shoulders, looking at him with slightly embarrassed violet eyes.
           "I love you, and I won't ever stop loving you..." The taller male smiled, pecking his lips gently. Lui smiled slightly back, his hands playing with his partner's vest.
           "You know, Leila is still over at Valt's house... That gives us some time alone..." Lui suggested shyly, looking at him. Gabe smirked slightly, leaning in and kissing his neck.
          "You took the words right out of my mouth..." Gabe mumbled against his neck, biting it gently. Lui closed his eyes and but his lip, smiling slightly and pushing him back against the couch. His hands pushed on his chest as he pressed their lips together in a passionate, scorching kiss.
