I was at my desk, my laptop open in front of me. I was doing my home-

I was SUPPOSED to be doing homework, but I just decided to read. And watch Beyblade battles. I have a bey of my own, Crescent Crasali. It was purple, silver, and blue, and also a stamina type. I was part of the bey club at Beigoma Academy with Valt, Wakiya, Shu, Delta, Honcho, and Daigo. I remember the day I joined like yesterday.

"HEY! NEW KID!"

I turned to see a short blue haired male running towards me. Geez, I never get a break from people calling me new kid, do I? I tended to move schools a lot, so I never really had any friends. "What?" I asked.

"Wanna join the bey club?" he asked excitedly.

"Valt! You don't even know if she has a bey!" said the girl with him. "Sorry, my friend tends to get overexcited."

I shook my head. "It's fine," I said. "I do have a bey, and I'd like to join. My name's Y/n L/n."

"I'm Valt Aoi, and this is Delta Kurenai!" Valt shouted excitedly.

Delta sighed. "Grow up already, Valt. It's adorable and all, but grow up."

I laughed. "Adorable? You two dating or something?"

"No, but Delta's dating Wakiya."

Her face turned red. "V-Valt! Shut up! Geez!"

I laughed silently. That part of the memory always got me. And it was basically my homework assignment. 'Write about a memory of a happy point of your life.' Not much to choose from, since I was more emo-like than Daigo. (NOT HATING EMOS) Yeah, I still remember how I met him a while back. I was practicing in the bey park, and when I left, I literally ran into him. That was a few years before I transferred to Beigoma, and I've kinda developed a crush on him since then. I just didn't know how to tell him. Welp, it's 8, better start writing.

It was now the middle of the night, and the h/c haired female was on her phone. Since she was bored, she texted two of her friends.

Paint: Yo. still awake?

Y/c/n: no, im texting in my sleep

Paint: Dude, it's already one and im not tired yet. imma die in school tomorrow.

Y/c/n: Tomorrows saturday, then break.

Daigosaur: Why does this always happen?

Y/c/n: Dunno, but i'm actually tired for once. night, luv ya

Daigosaur: Night.

Y/n put down her phone and fell into a light sleep, unaware that a few houses away a certain black haired male was now unable to sleep.

Daigo had his face buried in his pillows in embarrassment. 'Why'd Y/n have to write that? Oh, great, now Delta is gonna be on my case tomorrow about this. Why, Y/n, why?' He did like the female, but he wasn't sure if she really liked him back. Daigo fell asleep thinking of the different outcomes of admitting he liked Y/n.

Your POV

You grabbed a bag with your things and ran out of the house. You lived alone, your parents were almost never home, and you didn't have any siblings. Grabbing your headphones, you ran to meet up with the rest of the club. You had a tendency to be early to these types of things, so you ended up waiting longer than anyone for Valt.

"Hey Y/n, Daigo, Wakiya." Shu waved with a tired looking Delta trailing behind him.

"Hey guys," she muttered. "I regret life."

You and Daigo laughed. "That's your fault!" The two of you looked at each other and looked away blushing.

Delta smirked, tiredness forgotten. "Ship it."

"Heyyyy," Wakiya complained. "You haven't said hi to me yet."

Delta laughed and kissed his nose. "There ya go. Anywho, I SHIP IT!!"

By the time everyone arrived, Delta hadn't stopped teasing you or Daigo. And Valt had joined in.

You plugged in your headphones and began listening to one of your favorite songs.

You handed him your headphones. "It's one of my favorite songs."
So the two of you spent the rest of the ride listening to music. (Sorry running out of stalling ideas XD)

"Guys, I wanna go to the lake again."

"Same here!"

"Come on, let's go have fun the first day here!"

Eventually all of you were at the lake again. The last time you were here, you wanted to swim in it so badly. And now you could.

"ME FIRST!!" You yelled, jumping in the water.

"Hey!" Delta and Valt jumped in after you, followed by Daigo and the others.

At some point you guys ended up trying to push each other over, which led to you swimming underwater making everyone panic. You grabbed someone's ankle and pulled them under the surface. It was Daigo. You smiled at him and swam away, silently hoping he didn't chase you. Because last time you did this to Delta, and she swam after you for about half an hour till you were both too tired to move.

When you were sure he wasn't following you, you surfaced, only to be surprised by someone pulling you backwards.

"SHIP SHIP SHIP!!!" Valt yelled.

"Don't make me pull you under!" you yelled.

"And how do you plan to do that if I got you trapped here?" Daigo asked.

"BECAUSE I AM GOD." You tried to jump but ended up falling over. (I've actually done this before, it's pretty funny to see people's faces)

"Was that supposed to work?"

You glared playfully at Daigo. "What do you think?"

"No?"

You rolled your eyes and disappeared underwater again.

Daigo followed you down. Then he did something you never expected.

He kissed you.

You were shocked, but you kissed back. Until this thing called oxygen ruined it, forcing the two of you to go back up. And the first thing Daigo said was, "I love you."

You smiled. "I love you, too."
