Your POV

You place your h/c hair into high pigtails and smile at yourself in the mirror. Then, you get dressed in a red shirt tucked into a black circle skirt with a pair of black converse. For a finishing touch, you put on a black cropped leather jacket. 

"Y/n, come on," you hear your brother, Daigo say from outside of your room. Your brother is just one year older than you, so you go to the same school as him except in the grade under him. You put your backpack on and then open the door of your room.

"I'm ready," you tell him with a smile. He rolls his eyes and then turns around to walk with you outside and then begin your walk to school. Once you get to school, you follow Daigo inside and meet up with Ken, Honcho, and Valt. You high-five Honcho, ruffle Ken's hair, and then do your secret handshake with Valt. The bell rings and you frown, saying goodbye to the others before heading off to your first class. 

-Time Skip-

You skip down the hallway and then make your way up the stairs to get to the roof. Everyone is already there for Bey Club practice. You look around, upset to see that neither Shu or Wakiya are there yet. Since the National Teams tournament began, you were happy to sit aside and let the two of them step up to join the club. Valt smiles and waves you over. Grabbing your bey from your pocket, you walk over to Valt and challenge him to a battle. He smiles and replies,

"Let's do it!" You smirk and place your bey in its launcher. Valt does the same before the countdown begins,

"3...2...1...Let it rip!" Both beys jump into the stadium and yours heads for the center. Valtryek circles around the outside of your bey and you wait for the first move. 

"Time for the Flash Launch!" Valt yells. You bite your lip, unsure if your bey can survive Valtryek's move. Your bey is hit toward the wall over and over again. Then, one last hit and your bey hits the rim of the stadium and bursts. You pick up the pieces of your bey before shaking Valt's hand. 

"Good battle. Valtryek seems to be improving," you say to him, smiling. He smiles back and replies,

"I know, right? I bet Valtryek can even beat Shu's Spryzen too." You giggle at Valt's cockiness. 

"You think so, huh?" A voice from behind you says. You recognize the voice and turn around, really excited to see him. 

"Shu!" You exclaim. He doesn't have a chance to respond before you run over to him and give him a hug. You pull away and notice a very slight blush on Shu's face. 

"Hey, Y/n," he replies with a smile. 

"What are you guys doing just standing around? Let's start practice," a person says from behind you with an annoyed voice. You roll your eyes and turn around.

"Hey, Wakiya," you say to him. He walks over to you and stops beside you, crossing his arms. You smirk and grab his hand. His face turns red and he looks away from you quickly. 

"W-What do you think you're doing?" He asks. You smile at him and pull him over to the stadium. 

"Come on, Wakiya. Let's have a battle," you say, letting go of his hand. He scoffs and replies,

"Fine. But it's not like you're going to win or anything." You giggle and take out your bey. The countdown begins and both of you launch your beys. Your bey takes the center before Wyvron can. Wyvron tries to hit your bey out of the center, but it doesn't budge. You smirk and use your special move that hits Wyvron and knocks it out of the stadium. After picking up your bey and getting ready to place it in your launcher, someone stops you.

"Come on, Y/n. We need to get home," Daigo tells you. You stick your tongue out at him before putting away your bey and launcher. 

"We'll have to finish our battle another time," you say to Wakiya, "Although, I definitely would've won." He scoffs and replies,

"Whatever. I would've come back in the second battle." You giggle and ruffle Wakiya's hair before walking off with Daigo. 

"I'll see you guys later," you say to everyone before descending the staircase. 

Meanwhile. . .

"You know, the dance is coming up on Friday. Who are you taking, Shu?" Valt asks. Shu thinks for a moment before saying,

"I do have someone in mind, actually." Wakiya glances at Shu. 

"Who is it?" Wakiya asks nervously, hoping that it's not who he thinks it is. 

"Y/n," Shu says, noticing that Wakiya's face fell at the name. He ignores the feeling of jealousy inside of him and asks, "What about you, Wakiya? Do you have someone in mind to take?" Wakiya crosses his arms before saying,

"Yeah, I'm thinking of asking someone too." Honcho smiles,

"Oh yeah? Who is it, blondie?" Wakiya smirks and replies,

"I'll be asking Y/n as well." Shu glares at Wakiya. 

"It's a showdown for Y/n," Ken has Keru say. 

"Yeah, but they're not an object. So don't say it like that," he also has Besu say. Wakiya and Shu continue to glare at each other. 

-Time Skip- 

The next day after school, you make your way to the roof again for Bey Club practice. Once you arrive, you walk over and sit down on the bench on the other side of the stadium. You greet everyone else as they get there. Wakiya and Shu walk onto the roof at the same time. You wave at them and Shu calls you over to them. Smiling, you walk over to them and ruffle the hair of each of them. 

"We both have something to ask you," Shu tells you. You tilt your head and ask,

"What is it, you two?" Wakiya and Shu look at each other before Wakiya says,

"We both wanted to ask you to the dance. So what do you say, will you go to the dance with me?" He smiles at you. You turn to Shu, who then says,

"Or will you go with me?" You look back at Wakiya and then to Shu again. 

"Okay, I choose. . ."

Shu's ending:

"Okay, I choose Shu," you say. Shu picks you up and spins you around once before placing you down. You smile at him and then turn to Wakiya and say, "Let's still be good friends, okay?" He looks sad but he smiles at you and nods. You turn back to Shu and hug him quickly. 

The night of the dance arrives and you're dressed in a black dress with long, lace sleeves. Your shoes are just black flats and your hair is down in curls. Shu is wearing a black suit with his pink dress shirt and black tie that he normally wears. (If you don't wanna or wouldn't wear a dress, then imagine whatever else you may want)

A slow song starts to play and Shu holds his hand out to you and asks,

"May I have this dance?" You take his hand and the two of you begin to dance together. 

"I'm glad that you asked me to come. I've liked you for a long time," you tell Shu. He smiles and says,

"I've liked you for a long time too. It meant a lot to me that you chose me over Wakiya." You kiss Shu on the lips and he kisses back. After a few seconds, you pull apart. Shu pulls you closer and the two of you finish the dance. You both had a great time and started officially dating when he asked you on the walk home. You couldn't be happier. 

Wakiya's ending:

"Okay, I choose Wakiya," you say. Wakiya smiles (yes, actually smiles) and hugs you warmly. You happily hug him back. After the two of you pull apart, you turn to Shu. 

"I'm sorry. I hope that we'll still be really good friends," you tell him. He nods and smiles sadly. You turn back to Wakiya and place a kiss on his cheek. His face turns red. 

On the night of the dance, you are wearing a pink dress with 3/4 sleeves and ruffles at the bottom. You're wearing black tights and your shoes are black ankle boots. Your hair is up in a crown braid. Wakiya is wearing a purple suit with a white dress shirt and a purple tie. (If you don't wanna or wouldn't wear a dress, then imagine some other outfit)

At the dance, a slow song starts to play. You grab Wakiya's hand and pull him to the dance floor. The two of you begin dancing together and Wakiya looks into your eyes. 

"Y/n Kurogami, you look absolutely beautiful tonight," he tells you. You blush slightly and smile before saying,

"And you, Wakiya Murasaki, look very handsome." He smirks and replies,

"Of course I do." You giggle and place your head against his chest as you continue to dance.

"I love you, Wakiya," you tell him. Wakiya pulls back and then kisses you on the lips. You kiss back before the two of you pull away. 

"I love you too, Y/n," he says. 

And so, the two of you officially started dating as soon as Wakiya asked you at the dance. You are really happy with your new boyfriend.
