Your POV

You finish getting dressed in your favorite jogging outfit and then head to the park. Once arriving there, you see a very familiar face. Your favorite blond-haired boy is taking a jog himself. You quickly run over to him and fall into place next to him as he continues to run. 

"Ugh, what is it? I don't have time for this, Y/N," He says to you. You giggle and ruffle his hair slightly before replying, 

"Calm down, Wakiya. I'm here to jog too, so I figured that we could jog together." He sighs. You run ahead of him a little bit. 

"I thought you said we were running together," he tells you, annoyed that you're faster than him. You giggle and say,

"C'mon, cutie. You can definitely keep up with me. I'm not even running my fastest." Wakiya's face turns slightly red. That's his normal reaction to you teasing him and saying stuff like that. He then speeds up, keeping up the same running pace as you are. 

After the two of you have finished your running, you both head to a bench nearby to catch your breath. You rummage through your bag before realizing that you forgot to bring your water bottle. 

"You forgot your water again, huh?" Wakiya asks you. You begin to answer, but stop when he throws his water bottle at you. 

"Are you sure?" You ask, looking down at the water bottle that's now in your hand, "You need water too after that run." He crosses his arms and scoffs. 

"I already drank some, so you can have the rest of it," he tells you. You smile and take off the lid before drinking the rest of the water inside of the bottle. All you're thinking about is the fact that you technically had an indirect kiss with Wakiya, your crush. You shake off the thought and hand his now empty water bottle back to him. 

"Thanks, cutie," you say to him playfully. His face turns red again and he replies,

"W-Whatever." Wakiya looks to the side, avoiding eye contact with you. 

"You know, I was thinking. We could always use a new member in the Bey Club. Wanna join? It's not too late, you know," you tell Wakiya. He looks at you and clicks his tongue. 

"No way. I'd prefer to train by myself. You guys couldn't keep up with me anyway," he replies coldly. You smile and stand up while responding,

"That's what I figured you'd say. I guess that I'll just go and hang out with all of those guys without you. Valt and Honcho and Ken and Daigo, maybe even Shu~" you tease Wakiya. He clenches his hand into a fist. 

"Be my guest. Have fun with those losers," he says to you. You giggle, knowing that he hates you hanging out with Shu. You and Wakiya aren't dating, but you like him and you think that he secretly likes you. You constantly flirt with him, calling him cutie and things. And he always blushes after you say stuff like that. 

-Time Skip-

You head up to the roof to battle with the other Bey Club members. You leave the door cracked open accidentally. Unknown to you, a certain blond-haired blader is watching you battling against the other guys. Making sure that you aren't actually interested in any of them, especially Shu. After finding that Shu isn't even there, he heads back down the stairs and leaves.

"Who wants to take me on next?" You ask. 

"I will. Be prepared for Roktavor and I to crush you and B/N," Honcho replies. You laugh and take your place at the bey stadium opposite to him. After launching, your bey circles around the outside while Roktavor takes the center, as always. You smirk and yell,

"B/N, now's your chance!" B/N, who's a stamina type also, charges Roktavor and hits it up into the air, where it then bursts. You smirk before looking at Honcho. "How'd you like that, Kiyama?" You ask smugly. 

"You know, Y/N. The least I can do since I lost is take you out to lunch. What do you say, you and me?" He flirts. You smirk again before replying,

"Sorry, bud. Not interested." Honcho frowns before walking over and sitting on the bench near the stadium. 

"Honcho, didn't you know? Y/N only has one boy on her mind," Keru (Ken's blue puppet) says. 

"Yeah and it's Wakiya," Daigo tells Honcho. 

"That blond-haired jerk has nothing on me," Honcho answers angrily. 

"Your hair is blond too," Valt points out to Honcho. Everyone laughs, including you. 

-Time Skip Again-

Your birthday is coming up and you're having a party for it. You decide to hand out the invitations to all of your friends. You've already handed them out to the Bey Club members, Daigo, Ken, Honcho, and Valt, but there's still quite a lot to go. 

"Shu!" You yell. He turns around and you stop next to him. 

"Hey, Y/N. What's up?" He asks calmly. You hand him an invitation. 

"My birthday party. I want you to be there," you say to him. He smiles and replies,

"Of course I'll be there, Y/N." You smile and hug him. 

"Yay! Thanks, Shu. Now, the only people left at the school are Hoji and Wakiya," you say. After waving to Shu, you leave him to go find Wakiya and Hoji. It doesn't take you long until you see the two of them together. You run up to them and ruffle Wakiya's hair. 

"Hello again, Y/N," Hoji says to you. You smile and hand him an invitation, as well as Wakiya. 

"My birthday party is coming up. I expect you both to be there," you tell them. Hoji smiles and says,

"Sure, it sounds fun." You fist bump Hoji before turning to Wakiya. 

"What do you say, cutie?" You ask him. 

"Fine. It's not like I have anything better to do," Wakiya says with his arms crossed. You beam and hug Wakiya. You hold up a peace sign before running off to go home from school. 

"It's obvious that they like you. So when are you going to tell them about your feelings?" Hoji asks Wakiya once you've left. 

"None of your business, Hoji. Now let's go train," Wakiya replies with a small smile on his face. 

After leaving Wakiya and Hoji, you make your way up the mountain to get to the dojo. Obviously, you want to give invitations to Xander, Ukyo, Yugo, and Quon. Once arriving at the dojo, you hand out the invitations and then head back to your house. Going down the mountain is a lot easier than coming up the mountain was. 

-Time Skip to the Party (last one I promise) -

"I'm so happy that you all could make it!" You say to all of your guests at the party, "Help yourself to any of the food and drinks that you want." Your guests begin eating and talking among themselves. 

"Y/N, can I talk to you alone?" Wakiya asks you. You smile and nod,

"Sure, cutie, whatever you want." You reply. He blushes and hands you a card. 

"Happy birthday, Y/N. I don't know if you've been messing with me all this time or if you actually have feelings for me. But I have feelings for you. I love you, Y/N," Wakiya says to you, his blush getting darker. 

"Aww, of course my feelings were real, cutie. I love you too," you tell him, planting a quick kiss on his lips. He smiles and kisses you back. 

"Just so you know, if Honcho ever flirts with you again, I'm going to kill him," he tells you. You laugh and respond, 

"I'll have to let him know that." You take Wakiya's hand in yours and drag him along with you as you tell everyone the news about you two dating now. Wakiya doesn't mind one bit; as long as he's with you, he doesn't care.
