You continue to climb up the mountain, looking up at your brother.

"Wakiya, how much longer?" You whine. He sighs and looks down at you, 

"Quit complaining, Y/n. Only a little bit farther until we get to the dojo. You're being such a baby about it." You sigh angrily and continue climbing.

You are with your brother, Wakiya and three of his teammates. The five of you are traveling to the dojo so that Wakiya's team and the Sword Flames could have another practice team battle. You were dragged along because your butler wanted you to 'go out and do something'. 

"There it is!" Your brother's captain, Valt exclaims. 

"We finally made it, huh?" Another teammate named Rantaro, or Honcho, says. 

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for this battle," the last teammate, Daigo states. You smile at them and follow along behind as they run to the entrance of the dojo. Once you all arrive, the five of you walk inside only to be greeted by a very energetic red-head. 

"Hey, guys!" Xander exclaims. You smile at him and look around, searching for someone else. Once you meet eyes with him, you wave at him happily. He sends a small wave back in your direction before being grabbed on the arm by Yugo. You frown, knowing that Yugo hates it when Ukyo talks to you. 

Everyone knows that you fell for the mysterious Shadow Walker, but there's no way that you two can be together. Why? His boyfriend, Yugo. Yeah, that causes a bit of an issue. 

You feel Wakiya elbow you in the side. When you turn to face him, he shakes his head at you. You frown at him and glance back at Ukyo. 

"Y/n! How have you been?" You hear Xander ask loudly. You quickly turn to face him and he ruffles your hair slightly. Someone holds a hand out to you. You look up at the person and see Quon. Ignoring his outstretched hand, you pull him into a hug. 

"C'mon, we know each other well enough that we can hug instead," you insist. Quon smiles warmly at you. After greeting everyone else, Xander goes over rules of the battle and all that. You stand next to your brother and wait for them to decide who to send out against Ukyo. Wakiya steps up to the stadium, insisting that he can do it. The rest of the team agrees to it, though Honcho wasn't too happy about it. Your brother takes his stance while Ukyo does the same. You stare at Ukyo, not realizing until Yugo clears his throat. Your face turns bright red as you awkwardly smile at him. He crosses his arms and frowns. You then turn your attention to Wakiya, who has a smug look on his face. 'Oh, please. He's just gonna use shield crash like always,' you think to yourself. Once the battle begins, Wyvron makes it to the center first. Unicrest hits Wyvron and knocks it out of the center, but it comes back at him with the same amount of force. You knew that Wakiya was going to use Shield Crash after all.

"Hang in there, Unicrest!" Ukyo yells. You smile at him out of pity, knowing that he's going to lose this battle. Then, as expected, Unicrest bursts. Ukyo scoffs and picks up his Beyblade before walking back to his team. Yugo pulls Ukyo into a hug and kisses him on the cheek quickly. Ukyo slightly pushes Yugo away from him. Yugo frowns and tilts Ukyo's face up towards his. You watch as they talk to each other quietly, not able to hear their conversation. Then, Ukyo hits Yugo's hand away from him and runs outside. You look at Yugo, who is now walking towards you. 

"Y/n, we need to talk. Now," he says to you angrily, nodding in the direction of the door. You hesitantly follow him outside. 

"What's the matter, Yugo?" You ask him.

"Did you say anything to Ukyo? Do anything to him?" He asks you angrily, glaring daggers into you. 

"N-No," you reply, a little frightened by Ukyo, "I haven't talked to him in weeks." He nods slowly but continues to frown. 

"He broke up with me. He freaking broke up with me. And do you know why?" Yugo lashes out. 

"No," You say, shaking your head back and forth. 

"He said that he was in love with someone else. Some other friend," he gestures to you. 

"W-What? Ukyo is in love with me?" You ask with a blush tinting your cheeks and a grin forming on your lips. Yugo frowns and replies, 

"I'm glad that you're happy, Y/n. My heart's broken, but at least you get the boy that you've always wanted." He begins walking away and you quickly respond,

"Yugo, wait." He pauses for a second and then walks backs inside. You feel bad for Yugo, but decide that you need to go and talk to Ukyo. After walking all the way around the dojo, you find him sitting on a bench underneath of a big tree. He looks up at you as soon as you get there.

"Oh, Y/n. Hey. I thought that Yugo would come looking for me first," he says to you.

"Just me. And Yugo already came and talked to me," you reply quietly.

"I'm sorry if he was mean to you or anything. It's really my fault if he was," Ukyo tells you, gesturing for you to come closer. You slowly walk up to him and sit down on the bench next to him. 

"It's alright. He was just a little bit upset is all," you tell Ukyo. 

"Listen, I'm sure that he's already told you, but I want to tell you myself. Y/n Murasaki, I love you. I've loved you since the third time that you came to the dojo with Wakiya and you finally had a full conversation with me. I'd be so happy if you would date me," he says to you sincerely.

"I love you too. I'd be happy to date you," you tell him happily. He smiles and places his hand on the back of your neck. 

"Can I kiss you?" He asks nervously. You nod and he kisses you. You've been waiting for this moment for forever and it's everything that you ever dreamed that it would be. You kiss back before both of you pull away. He stands up and you do the same. Then, the two of you enter the dojo, hand-in-hand. Everyone is happy for the two of you, except for Yugo of course. You smile and look at Ukyo before saying,

"I'm so glad that we can finally be together." He smiles at you and places a kiss on your forehead before replying quietly,

"Me too, Y/n. Me too."
