Y/N nodded, fist-bumping his best friend, and his only friend too.

"Good luck in the nationals!", Y/N exclaimed, waiving a goodbye at Lui.

Lui smirked playfully, waiving back.

But...little did he know that would be the last time Lui would look up to him as a friend.

Lui never came back.

Lui left his dear friend behind, instead...a deep ambition to destruction and conflict, possessed him.

Lui's sweet nature turned into the complete opposite, instead coming back with a sadistic, careless being.

Y/N knew they had made a promise...but he learned the hard way that sweet Lui was gone.

"Lost Spiral!!!", Lui screamed, his beyblade, Lost Luinor giving some eerie glow.

Luinor kept giving surprise attacks to Spryzen, as suddenly flinged itself in mid air, which hit Shu deep up his almost center part of his face.

It scarred his right eye, but not only that...his shoulder, it was also deeply harmed.

Y/N was being blinded by Lui's nature, thinking it was also just a nightmare, thinking he would come back...

But it was all just broken promises.

The promise to come back.

The promise to win the nationals...

But the biggest promise that struck him the most...was the fact...he promised they would be friends always.

That was a broken promise that left him in pain the most.

Y/N ran after the battle he had Vs. Shu, in the semifinals, at the God Bladers Cup.

But nothing.

He rejected him completely, throwing him to the side and calling him a waste of time.

Y/N's hate for him grew as well...so was the want to get stronger.

"I'll be coming back Lui Shirosagi, you'll come back for me!!!"

10 years later;

Y/N had been keeping his possession of champion for such a long time, he was becoming a big legend, godlike indeed.

Now he was in his king-sized bed, keeping some thoughts away...

He still remembered the deep pain inside him, but it didn't hurt as much as before...it was just a tiny sting, a tiny tingle of pain in his heart.

Not the overwhelming, unbearable pain he felt many years ago, he knew it wasn't worth it, in fact...it was thanks to this he learned from these obstacles and became strong and powerful.

"Mr. L/N...someone came to see you.", a young lady called.

The rich, powerful, blader nodded in approval, not expecting the next move.

Footsteps were heard, Y/N looked to the side, his eyes widened, as he nearly fell off his bed.

"L-Lui...?", he questioned, looking at Lui's figure.

Lui was much muscular than ever...he was extremely tall too...

Y/N blinked twice, his lips parting to say something...but the words wouldn't come out.

"Y/N...I-I don't know what to say...", Lui said, his eyes squinting, he looked like he wanted to cry.

"Lui...w-why are you h-here.", Y/N said, trying to force back his tears, but it was impossible.

He loved Lui way more than he could love anyone else in the world.

"Y-Y/N...I expected you to kick me out...j-just like I did with you...I don't deserve your attention anymore...I-I just came to say sorry for all I did, you disappeared for many years until I discovered you actually were the champion everyone was talking about, I'm sorry, I lost my only friend, my everything to me...m-my only crush...thanks to my stupid self!", Lui yelled, as he ran out the door, nearly crashing into a
couple of the maids, which were dusting and cleaning the castle.

"Lui! Come back please! Don't leave me and my broken heart here!", Y/N yelled, his voice booming loudly through the whole house, Lui then turned around, shocked, as a couple of tears dropped down his eyes.

"Y/N."

Lui ran up to him, hugging him with all the love he felt in his broken heart.

All the broken promises left them in pieces...but Lui knew he could help...at least do his best to piece their broken trust together.

Lui pressed his warm lips on his, Y/N kissed back, as the slowly tripped and plopped onto the nearby couch.

"L-Lui...", he said pulling back

"W-What...", Lui asked, a cute blush forming on his cheeks.

"I-I love you...", he admitted, fluffing his cute, baby-blue hair.

"So do I...", his said, pressing his warm body up against his.

They stayed like this for a while, getting a couple of thoughts on their head.

"S-so are we..."

"Dating? I'd love to...only if you agree first of course."

"Y-Yeah...I love you enough...to marry you...", Y/N mumbled the last part.

"What was that?", Lui asked, a deep smirk forming on his face.

"I-I..."

"It's ok, I'd love to marry you right now too~", Lui admitted.

Though...Gay marriage sometimes did lift up the criticism.

But...one thing is true.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes, all ages and genders, Love isn't always the same story repeatedly.
