Terumi: (Sighs) They've been like that since they got back. Do you think they're okay?

(The next day at the Comets)

Wakiya: Hey, Hikaru, Hyuga, are you here?

Wakiya: I took time out of my schedule to help you out, and you repay me with whatever that 1st match was? That battle was nothing short of absolute chaos! I'm gonna have to train you both from square one. Eh?

Wakiya: (Chuckles) They're realizing just how powerful the Legends actually are.

Hinata: It's no wonder they were beefing each other.

Wakiya: Enough! Enough! Practice won't get you anywhere, no matter how hard you try!

Hizashi Bros: (Grumbles) Hmph.

(Pad chimes)

Guy: Uh, looks like they finally announced the 2nd round matchups.

Hizashi Bros: (Gasps)

Wakiya: Seriously?

Guy: Uh, yeah.

Yukio: You didn't know? Aren't you the commissioner?

Wakiya: Match 1 is going to be Aiko, Aiger, Luna, and Ranjiro vs Lain, Lyra, and Shu, Match 2 is Dante, Demi, and Lui vs Akane, Free, and Silas, and Match 3 is Hikari, Hinata, Hikaru, and Hyuga vs Selena, Valt, and Rantaro.

Hikaru: Wait. It's Valt...

Selena: Me?

Hyuga: And Honcho?

Wakiya: Oh, this isn't good. Out of all the tag teams, you're going up against Valt's, and those 3 are super powerful. If you mess up again, that's 2 losses, and your chances of making it to the finals will be pretty bleak.

Selena and Hizashis: (Groans) The Virtual Battle Machine!

Hizashi Bros: (Growls)

Wakiya: No, that's out of the question.

Wakiya: Sorry, but they're fixing it right now.

Selena: Oh, right.

Wakiya: But there's no need to worry. You've got me, and I know everything about how those 3 battle.

Wakiya: Duh. Who do you think I am? I've known Valt since before he could even pull off a decent launch! We battled side by side as teammates, too. Oh, and besides all that, I've literally battled them like, a bazillion times.

Hizashi Bros: A bazillion? Literally?

Wakiya: You better believe it. And if you train like I tell you to, your victory is guaranteed!

Ranjiro: We're up against Shu, Lain, and Lyra in the 2nd round, huh?

Aiger: (Grunts) Aw, man, this is gettin' me so excited! Especially since Sis and I lost against Lyra and Lain in the Legend Festival!

Luna: Yeah, too bad we didn't win against them.

Ranjiro: I remember. And I could have been in the Legend Festival, too, if it weren't for those guys.

Luna: You've suffered a serious injury and when Roktavor was broke. No way we're gonna lose to them again, right, guys?

Ranjiro: (Grunts) So this is our chance to get some payback!

Lain is surrounded by his aura preparing for launch.

Shu: Our opponents for the next round were just announced. We'll be facing Luna, Aiger, Aiko, and Ranjiro.

Hanami: All righty, Bladers and Bey fans! We're rolling into the 2nd match round of the Ultimate Tag Series! Let's have a look at the teams who have earned 1 point so far-- Lain and Lyra Valhalla and Shu Kurenai, Aiger and Luna Akabane, Aiko Masayoshi, and Ranjiro Kiyama, and Demi and Dante Koryu and Lui Shirosagi! 2 of those teams are set to clash in the 1st match of Round 2! It's Lain and Lyra Valhalla and Shu Kurenai vs Aiko Masayoshi, Aiger and Luna Akabane and Ranjiro Kiyama!

Ranjiro: Then we'll focus on Lucius and Libra for now!

Roktavor charges in as it joins Achilles and Lynx attacking Lucius and Libra.

Aiko: I've got it! Luna, you and I will deal with Libra, Aiger, you and Cap'n take care of Lucius!

Luna: That's my thoughts exactly!

Ranjiro: Let's roll, Aiger!

Aiger: Yeah.

Hanami: Is it lunchtime? Achilles, Athena, Lynx, and Roktavor have Lucius and Libra locked in a Beyblade sandwich!

Libra and Lucius strike Lynx and Achilles as their about to transform.

The 6 Beys clash head-on as red, blue, pink, indigo, & orange lights filled in the arena. Just then, all 6 Beys are sent flying.

Luna: No!

Aiko: (Gasps)

Referee: With that, World Spryzen, Endgame Libra, and Lucius Endbringer are the winners!

Hanami: And it's over! Team Lyra and Lain Valhalla and Shu Kurenai secured their 2nd point, making them one step ahead of the pack!

Ranjiro: (Gasps) We-- We lost?

Luna: Even with all of our teamwork...

Aiko: We still didn't get our payback.

Aiger: (Groans) I swear we'll get our payback!

Hinata: 4 of them were knocked out... with one attack.

Hyuga: Just how strong is Libra and Lucius?

Valhallas: (Panting)

Lyra and Lain turn and walks away with Shu only watching them.
