Hanami: Introducing the commissioner for this upcoming tournament, Wakiya Murasaki!

Wakiya: We took the 16 Bladers from the Legend Festival and wondered how to decide who's the best team in the world, and this clash will help us find out. But the Bladers are gonna have to decide who they wanna team up with. Stay tuned, and look forward to the show!

Selena: Guys, you can't just decide that. You don't even know if they want to team up with you.

Hizashis and Selena: A Virtual Battle Machine?

Wakiya: That's right. It's a neat new training machine the Murasaki Group designed to simulate tag-team battles. Naturally it's a masterpiece, tricked out with top technology, et cetera, et cetera.

Hizashi Bros: (Gasps)

Hyuga: I wonder what kind of machine it is.

The Hizashi Bros start imagining what the machine would look like, they started imagining high tech machines, robots and several screens.

Hizashi Bros: ✨✨ (Laughing)

Hikari:💧What are they even thinking about?

Hinata:💧Something very big.

Wakiya:💧You two definitely have overactive imaginations.

Selena: (Giggles)

(At the Murasaki house)

Wakiya: Here we are. The Virtual Battle Machine.

Hyuga: Wait. This is it?

Hikaru: It's totally different from what I imagined.

Hizashi Sisters: You think?

Selena: It looks... small.

Wakiya: Obviously. Now hurry up, and stand on the stage. You can set your Bey there.

Hikari: Right here?

Wakiya: Bingo.

The siblings and Selena put their Beys on the stage as it scans them.

Wakiya: All right, now grab the goggles in front of you, and put 'em on.

Hyuga: (Grunts) Like this?

Hinata: More like this.

Hikaru: I don't think mine aren't working.

Wakiya: Now, now. Don't be hasty.

He starts setting things up with the computer. Just then the machine starts scanning them.

Hinata: Eh?! What is this?!

Wakiya: It's the part of the machine that scans your data.

Computer: Data acquisition: complete.

Computer: Blader--Hikaru Hizashi. Hinata Hizashi. Hikari Hizashi.

Computer: Hyuga Hizashi. Selena Mikazuki.

Wakiya: And just like that, you all have your Blader data. Good. Now we can begin the training.

The simulation counts down as it starts up. The 5 of them are thrown into virtual reality.

Selena: Hey, where am I?

Hyuga: (Laughs) What's goin' on here?!

Hikari: Wait. You guys, too?

Selena and Hizashis: (Laughs) This is awesome!

Wakiya: Cool, right? What do you guys think? It's okay to be impressed.

Hinata: So who are we going to be battling first?

Wakiya: I'm glad you asked! We have a perfect array of opponent data.

Wakiya: You can use this menu to select your favorite.

Hizashis: Amazing/Wow/Cool/Nice!

Selena: We already know our opponents!

Hizashis: Valt, Lain, and Lyra!

They chose the Bladers on the menu as they manifested in the virtual reality.

Valt: I'm giving it all I've got!

Valhallas: Come and try to take on our Flare!

Wakiya: Oh. You guys sure do make some very interesting choices.

Wakiya: And your battleground will be uh... let's see. The roof of Beigoma Academy.

Hikari: Did you say Beigoma Academy?!

Hinata: This is where Valt used to do all of his training when he was a kid!

Wakiya: If you lose here, I'm disqualifying you, so do your best!

Selena: All right, guys, focus.

Hikari: Whoa. It feels like we're goin' up against the real Valt, Lyra and Lain.

Hinata: Hikaru, you got an idea?

Hikaru: Lucius is a powerful Defense Type and Libra is a Balance Type. We'll start with Hippogriff and Helios holding them down.

Hyuga: Great. Then me and Hikari will crash into Valtryek like kablam!

Selena: Uh-huh! And when they've lost their stamina, we'll attack them together!

Hyuga: Mm-hmm. Yeah!

Hikari: Good idea!

Hikaru: Let's go!

Computer: Ready. Set!

Helios and Hippogriff charged in to attack Lucius and Libra, but they swiftly knocked them away.

Hinata: Whoa!

Hikaru: Limit Breaker System or not, they're so strong!

Valtryek grips the stadium with the Evolution' Driver as it charges towards Hyperion.

Valt: Nail 'em with Brave Sword!

Hyuga: FLAMING LIMIT BREAKER!!!

Hyperion knocked him back with his Limit Breaker.

Hyuga: Yeah! Got 'em!

Hikari: That's not it! Look closer!

Valtryek hit Lucius and Libra making their Limit Breaker click from the impact.

Selena: Wait a sec. Are they gonna use the Limit Breaker themselves?

Wakiya: Our team has gathered all of the most optimal attack patterns and programmed them in.

Just then, Hyperion and Hyrus are heading to Helios and Hippogriff

Hinata: Hey, watch out!

Hikari: Ahh! Move! Move! Move!

Hyuga: Move! Get outta there! Go! Go! Go!

Hyuga: Sorry, guys.

Hikari: Yeah, our bad.

Selena: Don't be, guys! This means Helios and Hippogriff can also use Limit Breakers!

Hippogriff, Helios, Lucius, and Libra make contact.

Hikaru and Hinata: BLAZING LIMIT BREAKER/LIMIT BREAK: MARINE!!!

Valhallas: FINAL LIMIT BREAKER/LIMIT BREAK: ENDGAME!!!!

All 4 Beys activate their Limit Breakers and cancel each other out as each Bey is sent back.

Hikaru: All right!

Hinata: Got 'em good!

Selena: Hey, guys! Wanna do a combo?

Hizashis: Yeah!

Hyrus, Hippogriff, Hyperion and Helios are make a big spark and Selene is right behind them.

Hizashis: QUADRUPLE STRIKE!!!

Selena and Hizashis: LET'S GO!!!!!

Outside the virtual world, the machine starts to malfunction.

Wakiya: (Gasps) What is going on here? Can't the processor keep up with them or something?

All 8 Beys are in collision. But Selene is about to transform.

Selena: LIMIT BREAK: STARLIGHT!!!!

5 Beys got knocked out

Hyuga: (Gasps)

Hikaru: That's impossible!

But right before their Beys hit the ground, they freeze in place.

Hinata: Huh?

Hikari: Uh, wait. What's happening?

Wakiya: I'll take you on!

Hizashi Bros: (Shudders)

Hizashi Sisters: What the!?

Selena: Wakiya! What's going on?!

More and more start appearing repeating "You're gonna burst!" until they cover the whole screen.

Selena and Hizashis: (Wails)

The VR system is making a crash. So, Selena and the siblings take off their goggles.

Hyuga: So did it break or something?

Wakiya: More like it overheated.

Hikaru: But still, we lost now, and that means...

Hikari: Does that count? Are you disqualifying us?

Wakiya: (Laughs)

Hizashis and Selena: Eh?

Wakiya: You guys are hilarious. You know that? You all pass.

Selena and Hizashis: Uh... (Sighs) All right! We're in!

Wakiya: I'm curious to see how far you five will go, so I'm looking forward to this. Prepare yourselves. The tournament will be tough.

Hyuga: Yeah, all right! I'm gonna team up with Valt and win it all!

Hikaru: We've already been through this! Aiger and I are winning!

Hyuga: No, me and Valt are!

Hikaru: No, me and Aiger!

Hizashi Bros: Me and Valt/Aiger are winning! Me and Valt/Aiger are winning! Me and Valt/Aiger are winning!

Wakiya:💧 Wait. You four aren't teaming up with each other?

Selena:💧Depends.

Hinata: Maybe I'll team up with Lulu.

Hikari: Okay, then, I'll be teaming with Demi.

Wakiya: So these guys are Selena Mikazuki, Hikaru, Hinata, Hikari, and Hyuga Hizashi. I think this tournament's gonna be a lot more interesting than I expected.

Wakiya: (Laughs)
