Hanami: We're live with the 1st battle between the Dark Prince and Princess, Bel and Bella Daizora, and the Dark Queen and the Phoenix, Bia Daizora and Phelix Payne! This electric start has got my hair on end! Since making that spine-chilling declaration to get revenge on Rashad Goodman, Phelix and Bia have already made some headway by defeating 4 of Rashad's teammates, Haruki Tachibana, Demi Koryu, Bashara Suiro and Ilya Mao. Will Phelix and Bia's conquest come crashing to an end, or will a victory against the Dark Princess and Prince send a message to Rashad Goodman? The answers to all these questions and more will be revealed...

Rashad: Sheer hatred for me may have worked before, but not against the Dark Prince and Princess.

Bashara: How do you think Bel and Bella will approach this?

Ilya: (Chuckles) Knowing them, they'll go straight for a burst. I doubt they'll last too long before going into their whole, "You're doomed," bit. (Chuckles)

Demi: But we all saw it. Phoenix can use its armor as a weapon.

Haruki transforms into Homura.

Homura: You can't forget about Barbatos. I still don't understand how it didn't burst.

Bashara: Not even Balam or Belfyre can Burst them in one attack.

(At Phantom's Gate)

Ranzo: Hey, amigos, listen up! No matter what, don't you dare go for a burst! You got that?

Hanna: Huh? Why not?

Ryuka: If they're using reckless, willy-nilly attacks against Phoenix... They'll be open to a counterattack once that armor's knocked off.

Ranzo: Look, we don't ask much of you! So just promise me you'll drop Phoenix and Barbatos through that trapdoor thing first!

Hanna: How 'bout a team huddle instead of shouting their plan?

Bel: Silence out there! I won't be taking unsolicited advice from you!

(Beys clash)

Bel: Eh?

Bia: You should also pay attention to your real opponents.

Barbatos and Phoenix are attacking Belfyre and Balam headfirst.

Hanami: What's that?! I never expected this, but Phoenix and Barbatos makes the opening move!

Bella: (Scoffs) Can't wait anymore, huh? Since you're so eager, we'll show you a real attack!

Ranzo: No, guys! Stop it! Can't you see they're taunting you?! Don't fall for it!

Bella: (Gasps) Wait, Bel, don't!

Bel: Now! Devastate Launch!

Hanami: Wow! Belfyre has opened the floodgates with a barrage of attacks against its foe! But Phoenix's defenses are tough as nails! It's holding out, determined not to fall to the stage below!

Bia: Come on, sister. Attack me, don't hold back.

Bella: Since I won't deal with Phoenix, I'll deal with you!

Bel: Let's end this now! Devastate Wrecker!!!

Bella: Devil Wrecker!!!

Bia: It's useless...

Kiyamas and Hanna: (Gasps)

Hanami: Oh! A major misfire from Belfyre's Devastate Wrecker and Balam's Devil Wrecker!

Daizoras: Huh?! No!

(Thunder crashes)

Hanami: That's gonna cost them! A mistake like that from Bella and Bel Daizora could mean "show's over"! What a sight! The fearless Dark Prince and Princess crumbles down in utter disbelief!

(At Beigoma Academy)

Akane: Come on, you two! Get it together!

Valt: What in the world are they doing?

Shu: Heh. You never know. Maybe they've got a plan.

Ryuka: Stand up, amigos! It's not over yet! What are you giving up for?! Get on your feet!

Ranzo: (Gasps) Watch out! You gotta get out of there, man! Spin around quick, or no-- Jump up! Just dodge it! Do anything!

Daizoras: (Chuckles)

Bella: Now!

Belfyre and Balam's Almight and Metal Dimension Drivers tilted, giving them a boost and made Barbatos and Phoenix fell to the hole.

Bia and Phelix: (Gasps)

Hanami: I thought phoenixes could fly, but this one and Barbatos can't help but come crashing down!

Bella: It actually worked! Our plan succeeded!

Bel: Yeah! They completely fell for it! Our trapdoor prank was an awe-inspiring success!

Ranzo: Right, your prank. I was obviously playing along and was not at all tricked.

Ryuka: Hermano, we both fell for it and we thought they were done for real.

Hanna: Really?! I can't believe how fooled you had me with that one!

Jinemon: (Laughs) When it comes to pranks, the Dark Prince and Princess comes through every time.

As the battle continues, Barbatos and Phoenix are down in the bottom stadium while Balam and Belfyre are still on top.

Hanami: Now that the Dark Prince and Princess' true plan is starting to unfold, how will they attack from here?

Demi: That's something I didn't see coming.

Bashara: To think they were able to set up that trap against Phelix and Bia...

Ilya: Hah! Yeah, the Dark Princess and Prince have their moments too, I guess.

Rashad: Don't be fooled. The only one who set up a trap here is Bia and Phelix.

Bashara: Huh?

Homura: How can you be sure?

Phelix: (Chuckles)

Bia: Now, the time has come.

Daizoras: (Yells) BELFYRE/BALAM!!!

Belfyre and Balam: Let's go! (Summon avatars)

Daizoras: TIME TO MEET YOUR DOOM! DEVASTATE/DEVIL DIVE!!!

After launching themselves in the air, Belfyre and Balam fly into the air and use gravity to increase their speed and power of their fall to inflict massive damage on Barbatos and Phoenix.

Hanami: A direct hit! Phoenix goes flying!

Daizoras: (Gasps)

Phelix: (Growls)

Bia: It's impossible for both of you.

Hanami: It's not over yet! Just like before, it's only Phoenix's armor that fell off! Bel and Bella Daizora fail to burst!

Bashara: So Bella and Bel were the ones that fell into a trap after all.

Phelix: (Growls) PHOENIX!!! (Summon avatar)

Bia: COME OUT, BARBATOS!!! (Summon avatar)

Phoenix ram into its own armor, making it spin like a coin. And then it hit it again to bounce up.

Phelix: NOW END THIS WITH PROMINENCE SHAKER!!!

The Prominence Shield ricochets around the Hybrid Stadium and hits Belfyre continuously with full force.

Hanami: Phoenix is using everything it's got to attack Belfyre 3 ways to Sunday! Phoenix is everywhere! Belfyre can't catch a break!

Bia: YOU'RE DONE! OVERKILL PINBALL!!!

Barbatos drifted itself and hit the stadium walls, and used it to attack Balam.

Both Balam and Belfyre's Burst locks are being forcefully pushed back.

Daizoras: (Gasps and Yells)

Drone: Prominence Phoenix and Overkill Barbatos with a burst finish! With a score of 2-0, Phelix Payne and Bia Daizora wins!

Hanami: Truly incredible! Congratulations, Dark Queen and Phelix Payne! They even defeated the Dark Princess and Prince, Bella and Bel Daizora with a double burst! A showing like that is amazing! It's extraordinary! Bia Daizora and Phelix Payne are certainly both to be feared! But who's the next opponent on their lists?!

Phelix: (Tell me, Rashad, these are your rivals? Is this all they can muster?)

Rashad: (Gasps) Hmph.

Bella: How...? Sis, how did you not burst?! The Dark Princess commands it!

Bia shows her younger sister to Barbatos. Bella sees something in the core.

Bella: That's a...

Bia: The Overdrive System. You think you, Bel, and Rashad are the only ones with the same system? To tell you the truth, I've been studying Belfyre, Balam, and Regnar inside and out. I've evolved my Bey that wants the same system. So with that said, Barbatos and I can finally win against Rashad!

Bella: Sis...

Bel: (Gasps)

Belfyre: Hey, Bel!

Balam: Bella!

(Resonating with Belfyre and Balam)

Daizoras: Huh?

Belfyre: What happened back there? It totally failed!

Balam: You both pulled out Devastate and Devil Wrecker and Devastate and Devil Dive, but still lost? And you both call yourselves the Dark Prince and Princess.

Bel: (Groans) I know. We messed up.

Belfyre: I can't hear you.

Bel: Ugh! I said we messed up! We underestimated what they're capable of!

Balam: Hmph! Don't make us laugh.

Belfyre: Even if you went in, knowing what you do now, you still couldn't win against them!

Bella: If Bia said it was true, she evolved Barbatos and made our Overdrive System. So that's why it couldn't burst.

Bel: (Growls) Lies! All of it, lies! I'll definitely be able to beat them next time!

Balam: No matter how many times you try, you'll never win against them.

Bel: Agh! Oh, yes, I can! Just watch me! The Dark Prince can win against anyone there ever is or was!

Belfyre: (Chuckles) That's more like it. There's the Dark Prince I know.

Bella: (Gasps) You guys...

(End of resonating)

Daizoras: (Gasps) Eh?

Ranzo: Hey, you were spacing out, amigos.

Hanna: Yeah, guys. Are you okay?

Bella: Do any of you know where Bia and Phelix are?

Ryuka: Huh?

Bel: We're gonna let them battle us again!

Jinemon: If I'm not mistaken, I believe your sister and young Master Phelix have already departed.

Bel: Then we'll go out and find them! They can't escape from me! The Dark Prince is on the hunt!

Bella: The Dark Princess shall go as well!

Ryuka: Hey, wait for us, amigos!

Hanna: And where are they running off to? I give it 5 minutes 'til disaster.

Jinemon: (Laughs) They won't need to stray too far. Phelix and Bia are likely nearby.

Jinemon: Besides, I think we ought to do some searching ourselves. (Chuckles)

Hanna: Awesome!

(With the Kiyamas and Daizoras)

Bel: Where are you, Phelix!

Bella: Bia! Reveal yourself!

(At the park)

Daizoras and Kiyamas: (Panting)

Bella: Hmm?

Ryuka: Hmm?

Bel: (Grumbles)

Ranzo: So they're not here, either? What are the odds?

Bella: They couldn't have gone far.

Hanna: Hey, Bel! Bella! Ryuka! Ranzo!

Daizoras and Kiyamas: Hmm?

Hanna: I found them! I know where Phelix and Bia are, and I can show you!

Ranzo: You did? Really?

Bel: How'd you find them before we did?

Hanna: Jiji and I covered lots of ground using a drone!

Ryuka: Aha! Looks like they're headed to Beigoma Academy.

Bella: Meaning Bia and Phelix's next target must be none other than Valt!

(At Beigoma Academy)

Valt: I had a gut feeling that you'd come here next. Hi, Phelix.

Akane: Bia, I didn't think you were actually coming back with that guy with you.

Bia: I only came back here to help him out, nothing more.

Phelix: (raspy breath) (Growls) Eh?

Bia: And I already knew you guys would be following us.

Bel: Hold up! Stop what you're doing!

Shu: Bel. Bella.

Bella: All Sis and that guy wants us to battle you so they can win and gloat to Rashad! That's it!

Valt: Yeah, I know.

Daizoras: Eh?

Valt: Look, Bia, Phelix, I'm cool battling with both of you, but only on one condition.

Phelix: Hmm?

Bia: And what is that?

Valt: Tell me what happened with Rashad. Why do you two hate him so much?

Phelix: (raspy breath)

Ranzo: (Grunts)

Valt: (Sighs)

Phelix: Why on Earth would I tell you that?

Bia: If you already knew my answer, you would understand.

Valt, Akane, and Shu: (Gasps)

Ranzo: What was that?

Bel: Perfect! You can keep it to yourself, then!

Kiyamas and Hanna: Huh?

Bel: Which means no battle against Valt! Your schedule just freed up to battle the Dark Prince instead!

Ryuka: Really?

Bella: Dude, shut up.

Hanna: Can't you see they're having a moment right now? Seriously, read the room.

Valt: She's got a point, Bel. Just give them some time to think it over.

Bel: Yeah, what for? Hey, guys, you better not answer him, okay? 'Cause you gotta battle against me again!

Phelix: (Grumbles)

Bia: Why would I battle you again when you already lost to me?

An arrow was struck to the Dark Prince's chest.

Phelix: Something Rashad said nearly put an end to me, and I hate him for it.

(Flashback)

Hanami: The winner of the European Juniors is Rashad Goodman! The loser, Phelix Payne, is so crushed by defeat, he can't even stand up!

Rashad: The way that you battle... is real boring.

Phelix: (Gasps)

Rashad: Hmph.

Phelix heard Rashad's voice in his head by saying boring.

Phelix: "Boring."  "Boring." "Boring."

(End of flashback)

Valt: Rashad said something like that to you?

Akane: That jerk... he doesn't have a clue how Bladers actually feel! How could he say that?!

Phelix: Those words have haunted me ever since, so he shall know no peace.

Shu: That's the reason why you hate him so much.

Bel: Wait, are you serious? That's all it was?

Valt: Uh...

Bel: Aww! No lightning or experiments gone awry?

Ranzo: Bel, hush!

Bel: Your battle against Rashad must have been a total snoozefest!

Phelix: (Growls)

Bel: He's not the type to lie, so if Rashad said it was boring, I'm inclined to believe him.

Shu: (Sighs)

Valt: Hey, Bel...

Akane: And what about you, Bia? Why do you hate Rashad, too?

Bia: (Sighs) Fine, but I could only tell you and Bella.

Bella: Wait, me?

Bia: You two are the only ones I can answer.

Bella: All right, but the Dark Princess wants the truth.

Akane and Bella go to Bia as the Dark Queen whispers in their ears.

Akane and Bella: (Gasps) You're gonna what!?

Ryuka: What?! What did she say?!

Bia shook her head, giving them both a warning to not tell them.

Bella: It's nothing important...

Phelix: (Growls) Now that I've held up my end of the bargain, set up for a launch.

Valt: Phelix, you...

Bia: Enough, Phelix. Remember, I'm battling with you.

Bella: Hold on!

Valt: Eh?

Phelix: You're in my way. Move it!

Bella: So be it! We'll allow you to battle Valt, except...

Valt: Eh?

Bia: Except what?

Bel: ...We get to decide where you battle him!

Bella: And that's Phantom's Gate!
