(At Phantom's Gate)

Ryuka: This guy's creeping me out.

Ranzo: Y'all got the heebie-jeebies, right?

Bel: What's this phoenix thing he keeps mentioning?

Jinemon: A magical bird of legend. Stories say that if a phoenix leaves this world, it's reborn in fire and lives again.

Bel: (Giggles) What a nice trick! I wanna see that!

Wakiya: Now hold on a second! As the commissioner, I won't allow such interruptions to my event! Uh...

Rashad: He wants something from me. It might be best if I handle this.

Wakiya: What is it he wants? You know this guy or something, Rashad?

Rashad: So, Phelix, I assume you came to battle me?

Phelix: (Chuckles)

Rashad: So be it. I'll battle you. And Bia, how did you end up with him?

Bia: Well, for now, I'm his Blading coach. And he's not the only one who wants to battle you. Do you accept a 2-on-1?

Rashad: Fine with me.

Phelix: Really, how good of you. Shall I bow at your feet, High Prince?

Phelix: First, why don't the Dark Queen and I take your companions? Bashara Suiro, right, Demi Koryu, Homura Tachibana, and Ilya Mao?

Bia: 2-on-4, huh? I wouldn't mind you guys to battle us.

Ilya: Let me take care of them, Rashad!

Bashara: Yeah! We can totally take them on!

Homura transforms into Haruki.

Haruki: I've wanted to battle Bia again, so let me go on!

Hanami: Hey, I'm back! So what'd I miss? What?! The Dark Queen, Bia Daizora and Phelix Payne, this mysterious Blader that suddenly showed up out of nowhere, will now be having their own 4-on-2 battle against Haruki Tachibana, Demi Koryu, Ilya Mao, and Bashara Suiro?!

Hanna: My big brother gets to battle again?! I'm so happy for him!

Jinemon: This'll be fun. I can tell. (Laughs)

Bella: The Dark Princess wants to see her big sis for her returning debut!

Bel: Prominence Phoenix and Overkill Barbatos, huh? I wonder what kind of Bey's they are.

Ranzo: With those kind of shape? I'd say it's probably a--

Jinemon: It appears we've added get two another Beys to our collection of curiosities and oddities.

Shu: So this Phelix Payne guy, it seems as if he's got a grudge against Rashad for some reason.

Akane: For real. Maybe they've got a beef from before Rashad came to BC Sol.

Valt: That Prominence Phoenix, though...

Valt: Whoa! Look! It has its own set of armor! Brace yourself! I think something big's gonna go down!

Shu: (Chuckles)

Akane: And don't forget Bia evolved Barbatos so she could help Phelix take out Rashad.

Hanami: Grab yourself a seat, Bey fans! The second-ever match to take place in Hybrid Stadium's about to begin! A strange event for an even stranger, well, stranger! The sudden drop-in Blader named Phelix Payne and the Dark Queen Bia Daizora requested for a battle to be a 4-on-2 tag team match against Ilya Mao, Bashara Suiro, Demi Koryu, and Haruki Tachibana!

Demi: Hey, Ilya, have you met this Phelix guy before?

Ilya: Yeah, I have. He hasn't shown his face publicly for a while, but I recognize him. He battled against Rashad and lost in the European Junior finals.

Bashara: The finals? So this guy must have some skill, right?

Ilya: Quite a bit, in fact.

Haruki: Then we'll have to keep our guard up. Luckily, we've battled in this stadium once before.

Demi: That should give us an advantage, since we know what to expect.

Ilya: Right! And we serve as the knights to guard the High Prince.

Homura: (mentally) Not to me I'm not. I didn't sign up for this.

Haruki: (I know. I don't want to be part of this club, either. We'll get out of this somehow.)

Wakiya: What'd you do to that guy, anyway? He seemed real peeved.

Rashad: Not a thing. All I did was simply win.

Wakiya: Yeah?

(At Phantom's Gate)

Hanna: Show that birdbrain! Go, Bashara!

Ranzo: Feels good to be rooting for you again, amigo!

Ryuka: I'm cheering for Bia, so sorry!

Bel: I don't know. I got a feeling sis and that strange guy's gonna win.

Hanna: Bel! Why?!

Bella: He said it's just a feeling. I bet Phelix and Bia are gonna win.

Referee: Ready, and set!

3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!!!

Hanami: And they're off! Let's see how the Dark Queen and Mr. Mystery holds up against these 4!

Demi: Bashara, Ilya, you take care of Phoenix, me and Haruki will take down Barbatos!

Ilya: Now, Bashara! Let's attack!

Bashara: On it!

Hanami: What's this?! By the looks of it, Winter Dragoness, Tropical Hydra, Magma Ifritor and Roar Balkesh are setting up a simultaneous attack.

Hanna: You can do this! Show 'em what you're made of, Bashara!

Ranzo: I wanna see feathers flyin' all over this joint!

Balkesh and Ifritor came for a pincer attack on Phoenix as Hydra and Dragoness did the same to Barbatos.

Hanami: Ow! It's a tight squeeze from Dragoness, Balkesh, Hydra, and Ifritor! Who ordered the Barbatos and Phoenix sandwich, hold the mayo?!

Bashara: Let's finish this!

Ilya: We'll end you with a burst!

Hanami: There it goes, folks! Phoenix has burst!

Hanna: He did it! He won! (Laughs)

Ryuka: Whoa!

Ranzo: Easy! That was record time!

Bel: Hold your applause. The match isn't over just yet.

Kiyamas and Hanna: Huh/What?

Bella: Phoenix is not done. Look.

Hanami: Oh, no! False alarm, everyone! That was not a burst! It was just the outer armor of Phoenix being shed!

Bashara and Ilya: Huh?!/What the...

Barbatos broke free, thanks to the Metal Drift Driver.

Demi and Haruki: No way!

Bia: (Just like we planned.)

Shu: So there's more to it.

Valt: I knew there'd be something.

Ranzo: Wait, you mean it didn't Burst after all?

Hanna: So much for that.

Bella: See? That was just Phoenix's armor falling off.

Hanami: A stellar play from Prominence Phoenix! In a flash, it shed its outer armor to stave off the oncoming attack!

Bashara: Huh?

Hanami: Balkesh slams into fallen debris! Now, who left that there?

Bashara, Ilya, Demi, and Haruki: (Gasps)

Hanami: Down, it goes! Balkesh has ricocheted into the central hole!

Bashara: (Gasps)

Bia: Barbatos, Overkill Drift.

Barbatos' Metal Drift Driver redirected itself as Barbatos slams into Hydra and Dragoness into the hole.

Demi and Haruki: (Gasps)

Hanami: Barbatos directed itself and caught Dragoness and Hydra off guard!

Phoenix is chasing after Ifritor.

Hanami: Phoenix is chasing down Ifritor at breakneck pace! Can the bird catch up to its prey?!

Phoenix hits Ifritor.

Hanami: Yes!

Ilya: (Gasps)

Hanami: Ifritor follows suit! It's knocked down to the lower stage after Hydra, Dragoness, and Balkesh!

Phelix: (Growls)

Bia: (Do it, Phelix.)

Phoenix hit its own armor as it flung up to the wall and then in the air.

Hanami: Phoenix ran into its own outer shield! Could this gaffe cost 'em the match?!

Bel: (Grunts) (That was no mistake.)

Bella: (That's no coincidence.)

Rashad: Above you!

All: (Gasps)

The armor was falling straight down.

Phelix: (Growls) PHOENIX!!! (Summon avatar)

Bia: (Yells) BARBATOS!!! (Summon avatar)

Phelix: TORRENT OF FIRE!!! DOUBLE PROMINENCE DIVE!!!

Bia: GO!!! OVERKILL DIVE!!!

Barbatos, Phoenix and the Prominence Shield crash down on the four Beys, causing critical damage.

Demi, Bashara, Haruki, and Ilya: (Gasps)

Hanami: Wow! A quadruple burst! Wrap it up, folks! This battle is done!

Referee: Overkill Barbatos and Prominence Phoenix with a burst finish! Phelix Payne and Bia Daizora are the winners.

(Crowd murmuring)

Ranzo: They used everything to set up that sick combo to take out all of 'em at once. Those guys are unreal!

Ryuka: On Bia's level, she's a monster.

Bella: I didn't think she wasn't holding anything back.

Bel: Yes! The Dark Prince approves of them! (Chuckles)

Phelix: (Growls)

He was starting directly at Rashad.

Phelix: You see, Rashad? Just a taste of what we're capable of. These flames will swallow you too. (Gasps)

(Flashback)

Hanami: The winner of the European Juniors is Rashad Goodman! An overwhelming victory against his opponent, with a score of 3-0! The loser, Phelix Payne, is so crushed by defeat, he can't even stand up!

Rashad: The way that you battle... is real boring.

Phelix: (Gasps)

Rashad: Hmph.

Phelix heard Rashad's voice in his head by saying boring.

Phelix: "Boring." "Boring." "Boring."

(End of flashback)

Phelix: Your words tore me apart, haunted my every thought.

Rashad: Hmm?

Bia: Phelix, let's go.

Phelix: As you wish, my queen.

(At Beigoma Academy)

Shu: I'm getting it now. His power comes from hatred.

Akane: Hatred?

Valt: What happened between them for it to get this bad?

(At Phantom's Gate)

Bel: Ha ha! The Dark Prince needs to battle against that Phoenix somehow! Right, Jiji?

Jinemon: Yes, Bel? Oh, that look!

Bel: The Dark Prince has devised a plan!

Ryuka: Huh?

Bella: What plan?

Ranzo: So this was your plan, amigo?! How'd you get your hands on this?!

Jinemon: (Laughs) Well, since it's for my grandson, let's just say I called in a few favors.

Ryuka: You call that a favor?

Hanna: Don't you think you're spoiling him a bit much?

Bella: Not all the time. Now, about that central hole...

Ryuka: You could get super creative using this for different plays.

They remembered Bia and Phelix's battle by using the hole.

Bel: Should you push your opponent down before they can push you or instead drop down on purpose and bait them to follow? Hmm.

Ranzo: Let it Rip!!!

Bel: Eh? Hey!

Ranzo: (Chuckles) Too much talking. Not enough Blading!

Bel: You can't go until I give you permission!

Ranzo: And yet I think I did.

Bel: Not if I can help it! (Grunts)

Ranzo: What do you think you're doing?

Bel: By decree of the Dark Prince, that first launch never happened!

Ranzo: Yeah? I already did it! There's no take-backs! You can't "Dark Prince" it away!

Bel: If I pick Roktavor up, then it's like it never happened, and then I'll get the first launch!

Ranzo: That doesn't make sense!

Bel: ... I'm gonna rewrite history!

The boys fell on to the stadium.

Hanna: These arguments are like clockwork at this point.

Bella: Feels like we're the mature ones.

Ranzo: Hey, you're the one that started it, amigo!

Bel: I'm not your amigo, birdbrain!

Ranzo: Don't change the subject.

Hanna: (Laughs)

Ranzo: And here comes round 2.

Bel: Am not!

Ranzo: Are too!

Hanna: (Shrieks)

Bel and Ranzo: Eh? Huh?

They see Phelix at the front door.

Bella: Hey, you're...

Ryuka: Phelix!

Hanna: (Shudders) What do we do?! Should we run? How'd he get in here?

???: Don't be alarmed, Hanna.

The Dark Queen walks next to Phelix.

Bia: I brought him here.

Bel: Sis!

Bella: You're back!

Ryuka: We haven't seen you in a while!

Phelix: (Chuckles) It's a pleasure, Bella and Bel Daizora.

Bel: Of course it is, but call me the Dark Prince!

Bella: And the Dark Princess!

Phelix: Dark Prince and Princess.

Bella: Grandpa, did you invite them over or something?

Jinemon: It wasn't me. I've been too busy getting things in order for the new stadium to arrange any guests.

Bel: They were lured in by the Dark Prince's magnetism.

Ranzo: The only thing you lure is trouble!

Bel: The siren song from Phantom's Gate reaches all around the globe!

Ranzo: Yeah, not buying that.

Bel: Hey, sis, Phelix, am I right?

Phelix: Precisely so.

Bia: (Sighs) Apparently not. You haven't changed a bit, little brother.

Bella: He never does.

Bel: (Laughs) See? I can always spot a fan.

Bel: Welcome to the legendary Phantom's Gate! The Dark Prince himself ushers you into the nightmare! (Chuckles)
