Enjoy!!

P.S. Please ignore the slightly unnatural theme of this fight 😂

Again, not all characters in this are their canon age.

Y/n De La Hoya.

Y/n Winter.

Pirate Queen.

The girl who had effortlessly captured the heart of Lord and Emperor Wakiya Murasaki had many titles, but unfortunately Y/n Murasaki wasn't one of them. Even though it should have been of course. They had technically been married, but their 'post wedding bliss' had been interrupted by the earth shattering revelation that his heiress bride was secretly one of the most feared and esteemed pirates to ever set sail.

Wakiya had his own secrets of course, as did everyone. He himself was also a pirate, unbeknownst to most of the world at large. He hadn't however, been expecting for his seemingly reserved bride to be at the centre of a staged mutiny, or to reveal herself capable of not only kicking his ass in a fight where the odds were decidedly not in her favour, but to have the ability to hold her own against any foe that stood in her way.

It had been several months since the disaster that had been his wedding day, and Wakiya Murasaki had spent every waking moment trying to track down his renegade wife. Unfortunately for him however, Y/n De La Hoya, or was it Winter? Was a very hard woman to find. She wasn't hiding by any means, no. He had heard many a whisper in taverns all across the Emerald Isles about Y/n's famous exploits. Just a week ago, she had been seen across the Crimson Straight with that scarred follower of her's, hunting down the Heart of Spryzen, a treasure that had been nothing more than a myth until Y/n had found and claimed it as her own.

There was one point, where Hoji had made the careful suggestion that he simply let her go. It would have been a much simpler alternative, but when faced with it, Wakiya found that he simply couldn't. Y/n was something else, and he had never found another person like her. Her wild abandon, her ability to take any situation head on, the fact that she had been able to beat him and one of his closest friend's in a fight. He didn't know what he would say or do when he finally did mange to find her, but the one thing that Wakiya was certain of, was that he needed to see Y/n again, to have her in his life, it was as essential to him as breathing. She had become a drug that simply intoxicated him.

How he found her however, was purely by chance.

He, with Hoji alongside him, had been drinking in a small tavern one late afternoon in Pirate's Cove, when a commotion outside had reached his ears. Normally he would have ignored the disturbance, he had fully planned on doing so, until he heard a distinctly female laugh over the din. In less than a heartbeat, he knew it was her. He threw a fistful of gold and silver down on the table and leapt from his seat, dragging an unexpecting Hoji behind him.

Stepping out onto the street, he was confronted with a wild looking Y/n De La Hoya, the same exhilarated sort of expression on her face that Wakiya had come to associate with her while playing the part of the pirate. She was dressed in her full pirate regalia, the same boots as he had seen her wearing on the day of their wedding, with a pair of tight leather britches tucked into them. Over that she wore a corset that was very much unlike the revealing sort one would see in a brothel, rather it was a one that kept her in, while allowing her the freedom to move. It was the colour of dried blood. An unfamiliar looking cutlass rested on her hip, and a black captain's hat over a tight braid completed the look, making her look equal parts the beauty, and the rebel queen she claimed to be.

She strode down the street like she owned the place, which to be fair, she did, surrounded be her men. They appeared to have all gotten off of the recently docked Shadow's Rebellion, it's large sails embroided with Y/n's emblem visible over the many roofs of the numerous homes and establishments filling the cove.

It looked like the majority of her crew was with her. Some of them remained quiet or talked between themselves, while the others closer to the front and centre laughed and joked with the Queen leading the pack. They were a rowdy bunch, that much was certain, but all of them had broad smiles on their faces. Four of the men in particular, seemed especially close to their queen. A towering red head, who was laughing boisterously at a scowling green haired, shark-toothed man. A smiling red eyed male with a scar over his eye, shaking his head at their antics. And finally a tattooed man with his ears pierced, who playfully bumped Y/n's shoulder, making her go stumbling into the one who was scarred, all the while laughing, before slinging his arm across her shoulders.

It was obvious to anyone, that those five walking alongside Y/n, were perhaps her closest friends, although Wakiya really wasn't liking how especially close she seemed to the one with purple ink on his bicep. There was something about the man had helped to fiercely defend her when she couldn't save herself, the way he now hugged her, in the way she laughed with him that made Wakiya do it. Admittedly, upon reflection, it probably wasn't the smartest choice, but Wakiya Murasaki had snapped.

Waiting for them to pass by him, he stepped neatly out of the cavern doorway, and grabbed one stragglers by the shirt.

"Hey," Wakiya called out, shoving his green eyed captive forward before he even really had the chance to know what was happening. Y/n turned, her hand immediately falling to her sword.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you, princess." He smirked once he saw that he had successfully gotten her attention.

"Halt," she commanded her men, which was just as well, considering that every one of them had gone for their own blades and pistols. The green eyed one that Wakiya had shoved however, did not heed her warning. He must have been a new member, for he was fairly young to be a pirate. In comparison to his fellows, he was not nearly as confident, nor was he adorned with the same sort of rings and jewels that they wore as spoils from their victories.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" The boy snapped, getting to his feet and giving Wakiya a venomous glare. Despite being young and definitely rash, he at least had the discipline to stand back, and not attack Wakiya like he seemed inclined to.

"This isn't about you kid," Wakiya shook his head, the motion causing him to sway on the spot. Yes, he was most certainly drunk. "It's about her."

"What–" the boy cut himself off as Wakiya swaggered forwards, his eyes fixed firmly on Y/n.

The cove was deathly silent. A crowd had gathered around them, pirates and children mixed along side trailers. A lone raven cawed from somewhere above them, and there was a noisy flutter of wings as the bird took flight. Y/n, much to Wakiya's internal disappointment, did not so much as raise a brow at his sudden appearance, though the way she clenched her jaw was obvious.

"Saw that ship of your's in town." He tried, in what was meant to be a conversation starter. "Looks like you're here too."

Unfortunately, Y/n did not seem inclined to take the bait, and instead tilted her head at him, and spoke in a chilling voice befitted to her name.

"I'm standing right before you."

"So it would seem," Wakiya pretended to squint, as though he were more inebriated than he actually was.

"You realise you just attacked a member of my crew?" Y/n sneered, looking more than a little annoyed with him.

"Ohhhh, I'm sorry." Wakiya's eyes widened in faux apology.

"I don't have times for your immature games Mursaki." She spat his name, stepping forward and regarding him with a hand on her hip.

"You two know each other?" The green eyed boy asked, looking more and more confused.

"Gods, you think you're so entitled, don't you?" Wakiya drawled, ignoring the boy pirate's question all together.

"I am a queen," Y/n reminded him coldly.

"You're also an heiress," Wakiya smirked, delighting in the way her (E/c) eyes lit up with rage. "You truley are fascinating Y/n. You play the pirate so well, who would guess that there was a spoiled rich girl underneath?"

"That's where you'd be wrong, Boy Emperor." She spoke tightly, causing Wakiya to flush at the name. "I have saltwater in my veins, just as much as you have blood. I play my role as heiress to perfection, not even you could guess thay underneath the dress and the smile was a pirate, not until I had my sword in hand and was staring you in the face."

"I'll tell you what you really are," Wakiya glared. "You're a woman wanting to be a man."

"I'm not sure what you think you're implying but I've hears enough," she bit out roughly, narrowing her eyes into deadly slits, grip tightening on the hikt of her blade.

"You didn't let me finish," Wakiya shook his head. "You play at being a man, so you're father lets you run wild De La Hoya, but wait, it's Murasaki now, isn't it?"

"Captain?"

"It's time for you to stand down Boa," Y/n ordered the green eyed boy, pushing him back, albiet gently, toward the scarred man, who rested a hand on his shoulder.

"Listen Captain, Boa, but she can't protect you. She's a sell out, just like her father."

"If you won't hold you tongue, than I will glady remove it for you," she openly growled, a feral sound that was oddly at place on the pirate queen's lips. She removed her blade from its sheath, and it made a shing as it was drawn. The weapon was new, though it was still a cutlass, however the metal material of the blade was different, and it had some sort of inscription along the side.

Despite the murmer's that Y/n's threat had raised, Wakiya merely ran a hand through his blond hair, as to appear unfazed. Though it only seemed to be Y/n challenging him to a dual, he was still worried, though he didn't let it show. He had barely made it out of their last encounter alive, and that was two on one in a crowd of people who were also fighting. How would he go against her in an open space like this, where Y/n could use the full range of her abilities? Ignoring his growing anxiety, Wakiya plastered his trademark cocky smirk to his features, and stared her down confidently.

"All right then come and take it."

"Ha!"

PLAY THE SONG NOW!!!!!!
[AGAIN, LANGUAGE WARNING!]

Wakiya barely had time to register her cry, before she was up in his face, a deadly expression on her beautiful features. None of her crew members, inner circle, or anyone else in the crowd gathered had moved to engage himself of Hoji, which in itself spoke volumes of who they all clearly anticipated to win their fight.

Wakiya was able to dodge her first few stabs with ease, simply by moving his upperbody. They had just been practice shots to gauge his distance and reaction speed, though his evasion seemed to infuriate her. Y/n had definitely gotten better in the months since he had last seen her, which should have been impossible. Either she had been severely handicapped by their surroundings in their last fight, or she had been toying with himself and Hoji, holding herself back. There was no doubting her skill, nor could anyone question her title of Queen, Y/n's abilities alone crossed the borderline for unnatural and used it as a whip.

Still, Wakiya danced with her, acting as though he were sure of himself, when in reality it was quickly becoming a fight to stay alive. He dodged around a few more of her thrusts, and managed to bow beneath her sweep.

Lips twisted into a snarl, Y/n drew her sword back and sliced it through the air, it woupd have cut him clean in too as well, had he not drawn his own weapon at the last minute. Following their previous fight, Wakiya had found himself needing a new blade, his old one riddled with a long arching crack. His new one was much larger, and dwarfed Y/n's cutlass, looking more like a broad sword than anything, and a huge one at that. The grinding of metal filled the air, making several wince at the noise, sparks flying from where the two clashed.

Using his sword, Wakiya pushed her away, causing Y/n to jump back a few paces where she landed lightly on her feet despite the heel of her boots. Wakiya brang his weapon around his head and in front of him with a flourish, his smirk faltering momentarily as her heard the tattooed man mutter something about compensation.

Y/n eyed his blade with something akin to appreciation, and matched his stance with one of her own. She may have been a pirate, but even now, her nobility shone through in the delicateness of her weapon, and the propriety in her pose. With her empty hand behind her back and her heels together, Y/n's posture was perfectly straight, and she met the tip of her steel against his own.

There was a pause.

Familar with this etiquette from his own high birth, Wakiya bumped his blade against her own, and drew it back so they no longer touched. Y/n drew her own up, before titling it back when Wakiya's leant forward.

Wakiya made the first move. He leapt forward and spun, slashing at Y/n's sword hand and nearly knocking the steel from her grasp, he would have too, if not for her tight hold. Caught off guard, Y/n went on the offensive as Wakiya spun and slashed for her. She threw her sword up, and fell backwards as he came for her. It was no stumble, Y/n's hands made contact with the ground and she flipped, head over heels, once then twice followed by a third and a fourth time, before she regained her footing in time to catch her descending blade.

They clashed, even as two children around Boa's age ran through and pushed their way to the front of the crowd. A tawny skinned boy with brown hair and green eyes looked urgently at Boa, and asked him what was going on, to which Boa answered with a wide gesture the scene in front of them.

"Some crazy guy just showed up and started attacking captain Winter!"

"Oh no, that's awful!" The tawny skinned boy's blue haired companion exclaimed, her eyes widening. "Who would do such a– ahhhhh it's Y/N!"

"Y/n?" Her friend asked, his eyes also widening upon seeing the female in question.

"What?" Boa blinked, wondering how the two knew her on what was clearly a personal basis.

"KICK HIS BUTT Y/N!" The bluenette yelled, bouncing up and down in a raw bundle of excitment.

"TEACH HIM A LESSON CAPTAIN WINTER!" Boa shouted with her, not wanting to be out done by the smaller girl beside him.

Even with his happiness, the tawny skinned boy frowned. This confrontation couldn't lead to anything good by no means possible, their very first fight had been bad enough in the political aftermath. If either Y/n or Wakiya was seriously injured or even killed as a result of their battle, things would not be good. With a whispered word to his female friend, the boy rushed off back though the crowd he had just fought his way through, and ran for the main road where he would be able to find his way back into the more civilised parts of the island, where he could go and get some help in sorting this out.

Meanwhile, Y/n and Wakiya were still fighting, though Y/n had gone back to a more offensive route. Wakiya dropped low and swept his blade for her legs, ckmimg back up again even while Y/n was jumping back. He slashed down on her again, which Y/n dodged under amd made for his chest, it would have opened him up as well had he not dodged away in time. He followed her forward, chasing her back and not allowing her the room to manoeuvre, or get away with one of those fancy tricks of her's.

A slice from him had Y/n bending back what should have been impossibly far, and weaving out of his way. In a flash she had sprung up again, quicker that Wakiya could have anticipated. A battle cry on her lips, Y/n drove the hilt of her cutlass into his jaw, dislocating it in the process. Fortunately for Wakiya, this was not the first time some like this had happened, and a sharp push from his own hand had his jaw clicking back into place.

No longer as stunned Wakiya straightened back up, now surprising Y/n with the speed of his recovery. Jumping into the air, he brought his sword down overhead, which Y/n had to leap to avoid. In one of those impressingly showy jumps of her's, Y/n flipped backwards, and landed with a flourish on a stack of crates. Knowing if given too long Y/n would easily confuse him and proceed to kick his ass, Walkiya sprinted for her swiping once more and somehow managing to cut clean through one of the crates she had been standing on in the process.

Using the momentum of yet another jump, Y/n soared through the air overhead, reminding Wakiya of a deadly bird of prey. Lunging, he slashed again, surprised for what was surely the hundredth time that day, when he felt a weight on his sword as he brought it round behind him. His dark eyes followed a pair of gold buckled boots up to the figure that was wearing them, and realised that Y/n was somehow managing to balance precariously on the flat of his sword.

That evil smirk told Wakiya that he was epically fucked, and her next backflip had the toe of her boot crunching into his chin.

Y/n arced gracefully through the air, (H/c) strands of hair falling from their tight braid and framing her pretty face that was flushed with exertion. With the newly created disrance between them and Wakiya reeling from pain, Y/n ran for her red headed friend who straight away knew what to do. He crouched down low and cupped his lands together, even as she barrelled toward him. Without so much as flinching at the sight of his armed and insane question, the man waited, and when Y/n's foot fell into the cradle made by his interlaced hands, he straightened and boosted her up into the air.

At a height not reachable from a flip or a handspring alone, Y/n grabbed onto the edge of a nearby building and pulled herself up in one fluid motion.

'This woman is possessed,' Wakiya thought dimly, wondering if for a second he should just save himself the humiliation of defeat and call it a loss.

Y/n's taunting glare changed it for him.

"Come and have a go!" She shouted loudly enough for everyone to hear her call. She splayed her arms out widely, sword still in hand, in an open invitation. "If you think you're hard enough!"

That mocking smirk, the sureness in her glare. Her face only red despite the sweat that gathered on Wakiya's brow, and those rebellious strands of hair that framed her face.

'I'm in love.'

Throwing his sword to his other hand for the time being, Wakiya drew his pistol from it's holster on his back, aiming carefully for the roof top.

BANG

Y/n was running and a chimney was destroyed.

BANG

BANG

Sulfer filled the air. Wakiya ran along at street level in order to keep up with her.

BANG

BANG

BANG

An explosion of bricks hid Y/n from view, and Wakiya stopped to refill his gun. When done, he waited, stopping to see where Y/n would run from. He squinted his eyes, beginning to grow worried. He hadn't actually hit her, had he? None of her crew had moved to intercept or subdue him, but where was Y/n. All was silent, but then Wakiya's questions were answered by a snarling Y/n throwing herself at him from the roof he had just destroyed, sword in hand, a fierce gleam in her eye.

She shouted out a war cry, and not wanting to shoot his wife at point blank range where his aim was assured, Wakiya scrambled to holster his gun and take his sword back in hand again.

Y/n landed, and without missing a beat, drew a thin dagger from a sheath on her thigh that Wakiya had failed to see before that point, a clear match to her cutlass.

Her two thin blades met his own, and the force sent the both of them stumbling back into the dirt.

Y/n was up again and so was he, she shouted out with each of her attacks, a sharp cry to match each of her deadly blows. Suddenly, Y/n switched tactics, and before Wakiya knew what had hit him, Y/n's boot had slammed into his chest, stealing the breath from his lungs and forcing him back.

Panting heavily, Wakiya held his sword behind him in preparation to meet in her oncoming attack. Sensing her clear advantage, Y/n took that moment to regain her breath, and grip her two blades tighter. She regarded him with a cautious eye, before digging the tip of her blade into the ground and sending a spray of dirt into Wakiya's face, forcing him to cover his eyes, and cough loudly in an effort to clear his lungs.

Wakiya reopened his eyes and glared at her once more, Y/n was openly scowling, and the faintest of growls reached his ears.

A dark shadow fell across Y/n's face, and Wakiya noticed that she had lost her hat at some point during their brawl. Bruised and battered, the Heart of Spryzen glinting on Y/n's chest as she looked fit to kill him, Wakiya thought his wife had never more beautiful than she did in that moment.

Y/n took on a new stance, and Wakiya readied himself to fight her once more, but something new just over her shoulder caught his eye. Arching a brow, to Y/n's confusion, Wakiya regained his smirk and sheathed his sword in it's scabbard across his back. From there, he spread his arms and offered himself freely to her.

Y/n grinned.

Wakiya's heart thumped.

He may have been slightly drunk, but he still reckoned that he might have needed his head checked for being so infatuated with her.

Y/n tilted her head, even as Wakiya raised his hand and used a finger to beckon her. Y/n's face hearted, and with another cry, she lunged for him.

The voice of his saving grace rang throughout the cove.

"Y/N!"

He blade stopped a mere two inches from his throat.

Her eyes widened and then fluttered shut, a deep sigh rattled her figure and she lowered her blades in resignation. Bringing them to her sides, she turned around fully in order to face her fate, and Wakiya stepped out from behind her to properly view what was sure to be an amusing event.

"Lord De La Hoya, sir."

"What in the world do you think you're doing?" He asked tightly, his voice ladden heavy with authority, while a sheepish looking boy with tawny skin and green eyes peeked out nervously from behind the lord.

"He started the altercation, sir." Y/n bade in excuse for her actions.

"That's actually not true," Wakiya corrected, meeting the hard eyes of his father-in-law, even as Y/n levelled him with a positively poisonous glare from over her shoulder. "She attacked first."

"Is that right?" Free De La Hoya wondered, casting his gaze over his only child, who looked like she was freaking out.

She may have been a pirate, a queen and a rebel, but she still shrunk in the face of her father's disappointment and the prospect of being scolded by him.

With no excuse for her actions, Y/n hung her head in shame, and Wakiya sniggered behind her.

"And you."

Wakiya jumped, pointing to himself innocently.

"What are you doing here?"

"I could be asking you the same thing?" Wakiya pointed out, gesturing to their surroundings of Pirate's Cove. It was definitely the last place that he had expected to see the head of the De La Hoya family.

"I–"

"I think that's enough," a new, feminine voice cut in, and a stern looking woman that looked similar to the boy following the Lord appeared.

The red haired pirate took initiative, and shooed away the crowd. "All right guys, nothing to see here."

Not daring to argue with the formidable pirate, the groups of onlookers dispersed, until everyone in the cove had gone back to their tasks and occupations. If not for the damage done from Y/n and Wakiya's fight, it would have been like nothing had happened.

"Let's go," Free nodded to the two captains, turning on his heel and striding through the town. Suddenly, Wakiya could see where Y/n got her swagger from, like his daughter, Lord De La Hoya perfectly executed an air of confidence that made everyone turn their heads to watch on in respect as he walked by.

Wakiya hurried after him, with Hoji at his side, and the two of them climbed into the carriage that had been used by the Lord of the Island. When he realised that Y/n was not with them, he turned in the dorr of the carriage and looked back, noticing how she had lingered.

Back with Y/n

"Y/NNNNNNNN!"

The pirate queen turned at the twin drawn out shouts of her given name, a wide smile breaking onto her face as she was suddenly tackled by two smaller kids.

"Hi," Kit grinned.

"Ahhhh, it's so good to see you!" Honey exclaimed, wrapping her arm around one Y/n's after she had sheathed her blades. Amused, Y/n raised her arm, even as Honey dangled from it like a monkey from branch, while Kit stepped back.

"Did you miss me?!" Honey demanded. "Did you miss me?!"

"Heh, nope." Y/n smirked, ruffling Honey's blue hair. She caught sight of Kit, and gestured for him to join them with a jerk of her head.

Without hesitating, Kit slammed into them, making Y/n stagger momentarily.

"You don't hate me, do you?"

"Of course I don't," Y/n shook her head. "You did what you thought was right, and honestly speaking, you probably saved Murasaki's life."

Y/n smirked again. "I told you that you would be seeing me again."

"Y/n!"

Y/n looked up to see her father gesturing for her to join them.

"I think I'm in trouble," she pretended to whipser to Kit and Honey.

"You did kind of destroy the cove," Honey reminded her.

"Yeah, I did." Y/n winked, not at all seeming ashamed of her actions in front of the kids, only embarrassed that she had been caught out, by her father nonetheless.

"Kurt, with me!" She called suddenly, and the intimidating male with the tattoos decorating his arms stepped to her side. "The rest of you, I want you back on the ship and ready to sail by the time I return, and anyone not on board will be left in the cove. Shu is in charge until we get back."

Her crew taken care of, Y/n found that Kit and Honey had already ran to the awaiting carriage, and only her and Kurt were left behind. A futher glance, showed her that Wakiya was glaring at the both of them, and slipped back inside with a scowl once he had realised he had gotten her attention.

"He's jealous," Kurt murmured by her ear, his own gaze directed to where his captain's husband and disappeared to.

Y/n turned her head to face him, unbothered by the close proximity of her best friend and first mate.

"You really think so?"

"He's in love with you, my queen." Kurt nodded.

Y/n scowled. If anyone other than Kurt, with the exception of a handful others, had made that statement, she would have punched them so hard that it would have rocked their world. As it was, Kurt was one of the very few who she trusted implicitly, his word was invaluable to her.

"Be quiet."

"As my queen desires."

"Gods help me, I will throw you into the bay Kurt Baratier." She added seriously.

Knowing she meant every word and was fully capable, Kurt threw an arm around Y/n's shoulders, and walked alongside her as they made their way to the carriage.

"How about together we throw that husband of your's into the water?" Kurt offered, smiling at his captain's laugh.

"Gods above," she swore, allowing him to help her into the wooden transport. "I think I would like that very much."

The fight scene^^^^^

Hmm... Another part(s) maybe? An ending for Kurt and an ending for Wakiya maybe? Or am I the only one who feels that this story isn't quite done yet?
