One Louder Than Ten

Just a short one tonight guys, hope you enjoy. I don't usually post from my iPad so if things look a little weird layout wise, that probably why.

Enjoy!!

PS. Random outfit choices I made. You don't HAVE to imagine wearing any of these, or you can think of something else based on what makes you comfortable, but  I really don't care about stuff like: why you hate it/what you'd change/why you'd "never wear it" ect. Because I don't have the time or energy for it. Negative comments will be deleted. I made these myself by using Love Nikki: Dress Up Queen. Positive feedback is welcome, as is CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, blatant hate and rude critique isn't tolerated.

PPS. Hope you like the song, admittedly it's a favourite of mine although I haven't listened to it in a while.

You weren't a fan of stereotyping, in fact, you hated it, and you hated playing into the labels that other people put onto you. The one you were the most used to by this point, was goth. Wearing black did not make you a goth, thank you very much.

Yes, you very much liked the colour, which was not an actual colour as your friends were fond of reminding you. It didn't make you stand out in a crowd and honestly, it was universal. No, you didn't always wear black, and you didn't necessarily worship Satan, you weren't evil, you only wanted to kill the people who annoyed you and yes, you could be happy. Stereotyping was definitely a pet peeve of your's. There was also the small fact that your boyfriend was as edgy as they came, so when people called you two the perfect couple it wasn't always in a nice way, but even so you wouldn't change your Daigo for anything in the world.

While you hated stereotypes, there was one 'punk stereotype' you'd allow yourself, and that was your music. Quite frankly though, Halestorm was not in fact punk music, it was American rock and it had absolutely nothing to do with goth culture. Yes, you had done your research. At the end of the day, you really didn't give a damn about what other people thought or said about you, you only had one life any you were determined to enjoy it.

Case in point being you taking full advantage of your parents being gone for the weekend and that your house was out of the main city, far away from any annoying neighbours. Your speakers were blasting one of your favourite songs at full volume and you were jumping around your lounge room, screaming out the lyrics at the top of your lungs.

"I GOT A DEMON IN MY SOUL AND A VOICE IN MY HEAD!" You shouted, launching yourself off the lounge and rocking out on your imaginary air guitar, catching a glimpse of your reflection in the mirror and laughing at how you looked, which honestly wasn't half bad.

"IT'S SAYING GO, GO, GO! I CAN SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD!" The windows were rattling in their frames. Your parents were ridiculously in love and frequently took weekends away, you used to go with them until you realised how much more fun it could be to have the house to yourself. Since then, you usually stayed home. Your mum and dad were okay with you having friends over, so long as nothing got broken in their absence. Fortunately for them you hated throwing parties, so they didn't exactly have much to worry about.

The only real issue with your music turned up so loud, aside from the very real possibility of going deaf before your twentieth birthday, was that it made hearing a knock on your front door incredibly difficult. Your poor boyfriend had absolutely no hope of being heard whatsoever when he politely knocked on your door, despite the blaring music and knowing where you hid the spare key. He waited patiently for a few minutes, because sometimes you did hear, but when you failed to put in an appearance Daigo decided to take advantage of the rare opportunity you'd presented him with.

He stepped off the front step and over to one of the shaking windows and peered inside, looking at you with love and affection in his eyes. It wasn't that you refused to dance in front of people, you just didn't do it very often. You hadn't known he was coming over, it was meant to be a surprise. Daigo had been away with his family on a week's trip to the coast in order to celebrate the end of Ryota's hospital treatment. He had invited you along of course, but you'd declined the offer because you felt like the little family of four needed that time away together. What you didn't know was that Daigo had purposely told you the wrong day he'd be getting back in order to surprise you, and maybe take you out on a date depending on how you were feeling. He hadn't been expecting to hear Lzzy Hale's voice when he was fifteen minutes down the road, and he most definitely hadn't been expecting to see you dancing around like you were.

"I GOT A RINGING IN MY EARS GETTING READY TO BURST!"

At the risk of sounding slightly creepy, if there was one thing Daigo loved, it was seeing you so unguarded and just letting go, letting yourself have a good time. Sure, that's how you were with him, but he'd always thought you looked especially beautiful when you let loose and sometimes, he just loved being able to witness that. Smiling to himself, Daigo grabbed the key you were constantly telling him to use and unlocked the front door, returning it to its hiding place before slipping inside.

In Daigo's defence, he really couldn't help what happened next. You were totally unaware of him walking up behind you, and when you opened your mouth to belt out the next words, he found himself joining in.

"SCREAMING 'HALLELUJAH, MOTHERFUCKER, TAKE ME TO CHURCH!'"

That last part ended with a high-pitched screech, when you heard him, a sound soon joined by Daigo's laughter. You spun around, eyes immediately lighting up as they landed upon him. You wasted no time and threw your arms around him, hugging him tight, and in the middle of your living room with your music screaming at a level one louder than ten, Daigo kissed you.

Has anyone else seen Steven Universe Future yet? 😝
