I mean, you guys fight a lot in that AU 😅 There will be one in the Kurt one because it's highkey important to the plotline, but the fight isn't with Wakiya. Anyways, let me know.

🦇 Totally definitely 200% unexpected
🦇You were late by about a month, but you'd put it down to stress from work and life in general
🦇It seemed plausible enough
🦇But while you were out shopping you caught sight of a pregnancy test and on impulse you bought it
🦇You didn't even think about it, one second it was on the shelf and the next it was in the trolley
🦇You'd completely forgot about purchasing it until you pulled it out from one of the bags in the kitchen of the house you and Clio lived in together
🦇Then you're up the stairs and locked in your bathroom, tearing open the packaging
🦇The nerves took that opportunity to ambush you while you were waiting for the results to come back
🦇You honestly didn't think you were pregnant, you couldn't be, you guys used protection
🦇But the little nagging voice at the back of your mind reminded you that accidents did happen
🦇And plus, this was you and Clio, you guys always defied the odds
🦇Like when he left to join AS Gallus, and despite the distance between the two of you, you somehow managed to maintain a healthy, loving relationship
🦇So if any couple could get pregnant even while using contraception, even if the odds were incredibly slim, it would probably be you and Clio
🦇When the results came back positive, you froze
🦇You lost track of time as you stood like that, staring blankly at your reflection in the mirror
🦇Two point eight seconds later you were thundering down the stairs and out the front door, bolting for the corner store where you brought another three pregnancy tests, just to be sure
🦇Clio was home when you got back, putting away the last of the groceries you'd forgotten about on the bench top
🦇You ran right past him and up the stairs again before locking yourself back in the bathroom
🦇And of course, they all came back with those two little damning lines that meant you were pregnant
🦇Clio chose that moment to knock on ths door and call out your name
🦇You were running on autopilot when you unlocked the door and opened it for him
🦇Clio took one look at your pale face and your wide eyes and swept you into a huge hug
🦇He didn't even know what was wrong, he just wanted you to feel better
🦇He musy have caught sight of the pregnancy tests which were still out in the open on the basin, practically begging for him to see them
🦇He stiffened around you and your mind started racing
🦇You knew he wouldn't throw you out of what was technically his house, nor would he break up with you
🦇But what if he wanted you to abort it?
🦇The very thought made your blood run cold
🦇You had only had an hour to get used to the idea of potentially being a mother
🦇And now that you were faced with the possibility of being expected to get rid of your child, you knew that you couldn't do it
'You're pregnant?' Clio asked, though his words sounded more like a statement than an actual question. He already knew the answer, but he was just waiting on you to confirm it. Wordlessly you nodded, and Clio's eyes searched you're face. His next words were carefully chosen. 'Do you want to keep it?'
'Yes!' You exploded, not angry but unable to help yourself. This little person inside of you was relying on you to protect it and to keep it safe. Technically it wasn't a person yet, it wouldn't be developed enough, but that didn't matter to you in that moment.
'Okay then,' Clio bit his lip, looking down at you with concern evident on his pale features. 'Did you want to play "Y/n is probably being irrational and she should tell Clio what's freaking her out so that he can help her calm down?"'
🦇That didn't offend you
🦇You had always had the habit of letting yourself get all freaked out and worked up over things
🦇When you were seventeen you had sarcastically said to Clio, who had asked if you wanted to talk about it, 'sure! Let's play Y/n is probably being irrational and she should tell Clio what's freaking her out so that he can help her calm down!'
🦇You felt bad for snapping at him once you'd gotten your levelheadedness hack again, but the name stuck, and whenever you started freaking out over something, Clio would suggest playing the 'game' you had come up with and help you to calm down
The two of you sat down together on the king sized bed you shared. Immediately, you crossed your legs beneath you as Clio sat down in front of you on the slate grey covers. His gloved hands took yours, and he patiently waited for you to meet his eyes when you were ready to.
'Do you want me to keep the baby?' You asked finally, allowing the question that had been burning inside of you to finally pass by your lips. A weight lifted from your shoulders as soon as you asked it, but that weight was replaced shortly after by the anticipation while you waited for Clio's response.
'I think that it's your body, and so ultimately the choice is yours to make, and I can't make it for you.' Clio replied evenly, you opened your mouth to protest that he hadn't properly answered your question, but he kept talking after that. 'You said that you wanted to keep our baby, and I would love nothing more than to have a child with you Y/n, but I will support whatever decision you make.'
Hot tears streaked down your cheeks at his words. He had said "our baby," not "the baby," or "your baby," he said "our baby" and those two little words completely shattered your floodgates.
'You're twenty seven Clio, and I'm twenty six, we're still young!' You exclaimed, his face blurring through your tears which you hurried to wipe away. 'I want to keep our child, but I don't want you to hate me for it later on.'
'Y/n, I could never hate you,' Clio shook his head, lifting his own hand to gently wipe away some of the salt water droplets that you had missed with his own thumb. 'I wouldn't dream of it, and I couldn't hate you for something like this.'
'But it's all my fault, I–'
'It takes two people to make a baby Y/n,' Clio spoke over you. You could practically feel the calm in his voice trying to seep into you and overtake the nerves coursing through your body. 'And that means we're in this together. I know I always wanted to start a family with you one day, so this just means that it's all happening a little bit faster than either of us could have expected.'
🦇Clio might have quite possibly been a vampire, but you would be damned if the man you loved didn't double as your own personal angel
🦇He held you all night after you finally started to wind down from your near hysteria
🦇Well, just about all night
🦇You perched next to him on the counter top while he made chocolate chip pancakes for dinner
🦇The two of you almost ate all the chips though
'Y/n, there aren't going to be enough left for our dinner,' Clio tutted, shaking his head at you even as he popped a chip into his mouth.
'Hypocrite,' you accused him with your eyes narrowed playfully. 'At least I can claim pregnancy cravings, what's your excuse?'
'I've never been pregnant before Y/n, but I'm pretty sure the cravings don't affect you this early on into the pregnacy.' Clio defended himself and you snorted at his choice of words, deciding not to commentate on the way he expertly danced around your accusation.
🦇You stayed up late together, hunched over your laptop, searching the internet for pregnancy tips
🦇You were pretty sure you fell asleep on the lounge, using Clio's shoulder as your pillow, but you woke up to sunlight streaming through a crack in the curtains of your otherwise dark bedroom, your head resting on Clio's chest
🦇The both of you called in sick that day
🦇Daigo was the first person you told, shortly followed by Cuza, you parents and then Clio's
🦇Everyone was overjoyed for you
🦇Clio accompanied you to your first prenatal appointment
🦇He held your hand throughout the entire thing and refused to leave your side
🦇Unfortunately, it was too early to have an ultrasound to see the baby, or to hear the heartbeat, but the two of you were relieved to hear that everything was as it should be
🦇You started going to parenting classes together
🦇He came with you to every damn one of them, and every other woman there was high key jealous of the fact that you had a boyfriend who was always there with you, super interested in everything that was being taught, and picked everything up so damn quickly
🦇Admittedly that made you feel incredibly smug
🦇You could scarcely believe how amazing Clio was throughout the entire pregnancy
🦇You expected him to be amazing, but he really took it to the next level
🦇Always made sure you had whatever you were craving
🦇Never annoyed you whatsoever
🦇Wakes up during the night to get you food
🦇That last one made him really tired, but he never complained
🦇But the poor thing was totally exhausted
🦇So you walk into your bedroom one afternoon, only to find Clio passed out on the bed, and his bedside lamp unplugged, with a mini fridge under the small table
🦇It took some effort, what with the bump you were beginning to develop impeding your movements, but you managed to kneel on the floor and open up the little fridge, unable to help the smile that broke out on your face when you saw that it was fully stocked
🦇You climbed into bed beside your boyfriend and instantly, sensing you in his sleep, Clio's arms found you and cuddled you into his chest
🦇The bump made the positioning a little awkward for you, but it was still perfect
🦇Midnight snacks ensured as a result of this
🦇And you found out that Clio had positioned the fridge on his side so that you wouldn't have to get up, bend down, get back into bed again ect. During the night if you got hungry
🦇He did all that for you ♡
🦇As a result, you shared your food and did your best to enure that he had a constant supply of his beloved tomato juice in your fridge as well
'I swear, you'd probably name our daughter 'tomato' or something if you thought you could get away with it.' You joked with Clio one night as you lay against his chest in bed while he sat up against the headboard, the warm glow from a candle Clio had lit instead of just flicking on a lamp filled your bedroom with a warm light. 'Tommy for short?'
The straw fell from Clio's lips and he gazed down as you with wide eyes. 'We're having a girl?'
'Huh? Oh, no.' You shook your head rapidly upon noticing your little slip up. 'Well, I don't know. It's just a feeling I have is all.'
'I wouldn't mind a little girl.' Clio hummed, eyeing your ever expanding stomach with a fond smile on his lips.
🦇It was just as well Clio felt that way, because at your next appointment tomorrow, you found out that you would be expecting to have a little baby girl
🦇The both of you were openly in tears and the nurse stepped out to give you two some space
🦇Clio would neved doubt you again after this, he joked and laughed through ths happy tears which were a match to yours fell freely down his pale cheeks
🦇After Daigo found out, he got up to something
🦇You didn't know what he was doing, but you were certain that he was doing something crafty
🦇Your suspicions were proven correct a few days later when he pulled you aside to talk to you at AS Gallus's head quarters while Clio was busy training
'I knew you were up to something,' you declared triumphantly, but your words fell short when Daigo handed you a presnt that was wrapped carefully in a deep blue wrapping paper.
'I thought you'd like it,' Daigo shrugged, and you silently marveled at how soft what ever was inside the mysterious gift was. 'I called my friend Ken back home in Japan and got him to make it. He's pretty good with a needle and thread.'
Ken, from what little you had heard from Daigo in the past, was a very skilled puppeteer, and you wondered what it was that Daigo could have possibly gotten Ken to make for you. You didn't have to wonder for long, you carefully opened the paper and gasped at what you found inside.
'Oh Daigo, it's perfect.' You exclaimed, tears in your eyes. You gingerly lifted the soft, plush fabric and held it up to the light to admire. The stitching on it was amazing, and quite obviously was done with a great deal of care by someone with vast amounts of skill. You couldn't wait for Clio to see the cape matching to his that had been made for his daughter.
🦇It took a few weeks for the two of you to put a nursery together
🦇You just wanted everything to be perfect
🦇Daigo, Marie and the others on AS Gallus all offered to help too, but you guys just wanted to do it all by yourself
🦇In the end, you decided it was perfect:
🦇You and Clio had a few paint fights here and there, but it was totally worth it
🦇Throwback to when you dropped your keys and broke out into tears when you couldn't pick them up
🦇Clio saved the day of course, and even helped you redo your shoe laces before kissing away your tears
🦇That was lucky, because you really didn't want to get your maternity photos with a red and blotchy face and puffy eyes
🦇The pictures came out beautifully though:
🦇Now, Clio is protective
🦇But he isn't TOO protective
🦇He knows that being pregnant doesn't automatically mean that you are suddenly made out of glass and could shatter just by standing up
🦇But he looks out for you and calls you out if you get in over your head
🦇And he isn't bossy about it either, he's perfectly calm and polite about suggesting that you take a break or let him do something for you
🦇He's strict though, if he needs to be
🦇God, you can tell already that he's going to be an amazing father, and your so damn thankful that he's the one you're doing this with
🦇You were expected to go into labour on October 30th
🦇The baby didn't put in an appearance, nor did those feared contractions
🦇Clio called the hospital, they said to give it another twenty four hours and if there was still nothing, to come in and they'd induce you
🦇Around lunch time the next day, you went in and they put you in a birthing room and hooked you up to a drip
🦇Holy shit, nothing in heaven or hell could have prepared you for the pain that hit you all of a sudden
🦇You couldn't have dreamed it up in your worst possible nightmare
🦇You'd read somewhere that an induced labour was quicker than a natural one, but the pain wasn't as spread out, so in some ways it was worse
🦇Fuck, you just wanted it all to be over
'I CAN'T FUCKING DO THIS CLIO!'
'Yes you can Y/n, you're already doing it, and you're doing it great.' Clio consoled, smiling down at you. He was so precious and sweet, you hated it.
'CUT IT OUT!'
'We can't Miss L/n, not after you've started to–'
'FUCK UP, I'M TALKING TO HIM!'
'What can I do for you my dear?'
'STOP BEING SO DAMN NICE! IT MAKES ME NOT WANT TO PUNCH YOU AND I WANT TO HIT SOMETHING!'
'You can hit something later if you'd like, but your almost done here.'
'I SAID– ARGHHHHHHH!' You were cut off by you're own screaming. A lady down the hall was screaming to. Jesus Christ, this wasn't a competition.
🦇Thankfully, you pain was cut short a little while after
🦇Those beautiful cries melted your heart and made every second of all that hideous pain worth it
🦇Clio cut the umbilical cord and wad the first to hold your daughter while the nurse cleaned you up and you quietly apologized for cussing at her so badly
🦇Clio was enraptured by the tiny being he was holding
🦇You could see a white tuft of silvery hair peaking out from the purple blanket she was swaddled in
🦇It felt like an eternity before you got to hold her
🦇And when you looked down at her it was like the world around you got so much brighter
🦇She was gorgeous, and had Clio's magenta eyes, his silvery hair and his pale skin
🦇You silently bet that she'd end up with teeth that were pointed like his too
🦇You didn't mind that she so closely resembled her father, you couldn't imagine her any other way
🦇Now, the two of you wanted to honour Clio's Romanian heritage, and did so in naming your daughter
🦇In Romania, a baby typically has two, three or more given makes, though the first is the one that is normally used in their day to day life
🦇And thus, your little girl was given the names: Alexandra Luminita Delon
🦇An elegant and powerful name for a girl you knew would grow up to be both of those things
🦇Cuza came to visit, and was promptly named joint godfather alongside Daigo
🦇And you insisted on naming Marie godmother, especially after what she got your baby:
🦇And as you drifted off into a well deserved slumber, you couldn't wait to get home, so that you, Alexandra and Clio could finally live together as a family
