God of Blossoms and Thorns (Suoh)
Here's Suoh!
Suoh is the God of Blossoms. As patron of the flowers, he comes off as a very cheerful and delicate god, with his kimono decorated in the very plant he creates.
His job is to brighten up the Earth with his flowers upon the arrival of spring, and to keep humans happy with the colorful petals.
But like every rose has its thorn, so does its patron god.
That's why Suoh is also known as...
The God of Thorns.
Suoh appears very kind and soft-spoken, but he is actually very manipulative and underhanded. Every deal struck with him, whether it be with a human or another god, appears to be straight-forward while hiding a barbed undertone that ends up benefiting him in the end. It was he who had provided Kris, the Goddess of Order, with the endless petals she uses to keep track of the world's natural order. In exchange for the gift, he requested that she create a law that split a single Earth year into four seasons that boasted four different weather patterns each. In spring and most of summer, his flowers would reign as the titular plants of the seasons, while still allowing them to fade into obscurity for the other half of the year. If she refused, it was within his right as the giver to destroy the gift.
