When I saw this picture, I realized this was the only time Dante looked really sad: usually he's always happy, or frustrated, but never sad. So, I wanted to try something. And sorry if it's a little short...

Under a blazing summer sun, Valt and Aiger ran down the street near the beach, each always trying to pass the other. But suddenly Aiger stopped abruptly. Valt, who had been nearly a metre ahead of him, also stopped and turned around.

" What's going on ? " The Wonder Boy asked the Scarlet Supernova who simply pointed to the beach and pointed at one person. Indeed, a few centimetres from the water, a young blond boy was sitting. And he didn't seem ready to move any time soon. The two bladers went down the steps leading to the beach and headed towards the boy. As soon as they were close enough to him, they instantly recognized him.

" Dante ? " 

The boy turned around and smiled at them, " Hi guys."

" What are you doing here ? " Valt asked as he sat by his side.

" Yeah, and all alone in addition ", Aiger did the same.

" I was just... rethinking ", that was all he told them. The two older ones looked at each other: usually the Dragon Tamer would jump in all directions and we would hear him talking all day. It was more than unusual and strange that he was silent and motionless. 

" Did something happen ? " Valt tried to find out what might have depressed him so much.

" Who must I crush ? " Aiger joked and Dante let out a little laughter before looking down and staring at the sand. They remained silent for a few moments, then the youngest sighed.

" This morning ", he started, " I wanted to call my parents. But I saw online things like " This kid is just an amateur ", " He's so weird ", His friends must find him too painful "... And I've been thinking about it ever since. I know, I talk a lot and a lot and I act weird sometimes. But... "

" Don't listen to this nonsense ", said Aiger, " people will always find something to criticize about us. Because they are jealous."

" Hey ", Valt wrapped his arm around the shoulders of the Dragon Tamer, " Even I was criticized when I was about your age. When I became world champion, comments exploded on the net: according to them, I was just a kid who should not have beat a blader like Shu and that my victories were due to luck. There were those who sometimes explicitly expressed that I was so weird, but I rather received them the year before the title of world champion..."

" But why must people be so evil? ", Dante asked sadly.

" There are questions we'll never get answers to ", Valt reasoned, " In this case, don't dwell on the issue and continue to live, play with your friends and not worry about what people might say. At first, it's difficult, but we improve over time."

" Basically, I'm a person who doesn't care what people think ", Aiger said, " But, once I became world champion, the news of my "negative" resonance with Achilles spread around the world and I got a mountain of criticism..." Dante looked at him, then snuggled up against him as a sign of comfort. The three bladers fixed the waves that crashed on the beach, at their feet, and which receded. Then Valt got up and looked at the two younger ones.

" How about a fight? "

" Yeah! " they cried in chorus before hurriedly rising. The Scarlet Supernova looked at his friends, then smirked before starting to run.

" I will be the first to arrive ! "

" You're so dreaming ! " the blond laughed before starting to run, followed very closely by the Wonder Boy. The three of them rushed through the pedestrians, all determined to be the first to arrive in front of the training centre door.

" I was the first to arrive ", Valt managed to say between breaths panting.

" No, that is ridiculous! " Dante protested.

" You're both wrong, I'm the first ", Aiger contradicted. But the three began to laugh and finally went inside, where they headed towards a stadium.

" You know what, I'll be the referee and you do the first fight ", Valt proposed, expecting no opposition to this. The Dragon Tamer and the Supernova acquiesced and each positioned on one side of the stadium, Valt on the side between the two.

" Ready, and set ! " 

" 3, 2, 1... Let it rip ! " And the two boys threw their beys as hard as they could. While they were all focused on the fight, only Valt noticed the coming of a certain white-haired blader, who approached him.

" So did you get a chance to talk to him? " Shu asked, standing by his side, as he slipped his arm around the waist of the other blader.

" We found him earlier on the beach, during our daily race ", the famous blader replied while he kept his eyes on the fight, " He would have seen comments criticizing him."

" Fudge ", Shu sighed while shaking his head.

" But I see that the discussion we had finally made him feel better ", Valt told with a smile. 

" It doesn't even surprise me ", laughed the albino, " I'm sure you're better at cheering people up than you are at the Beyblade."

" Ah ah! Don't exaggerate! And Triumph Dragon wins with a Ring Out Finish: one point for Dante Koryu ", he announced as Infinite Achilles was sent fly out of the stadium. Dante was joyly laughing while Aiger seemed ready to break through a wall. When finally the two bladers noticed the older blader, who had removed his arm from the waist of the former world champion.

" Oh hi Shu! " Aiger greeted with a smile, the murderous expression he had a few seconds before completely erased, " What's up? "

" Oh Shu! How would you like to fight me afterwards? " asked an excited Dante. Shu smiled before nodding, "Why not? "

" Yay ! "

" I remind you that you are facing me ", Aiger intervened, looking a little upset, " And I will win this fight! "

" It's me and Dragon who are going to win! " 

" Keep on dreaming! " And the two continued their argument, making the other two boys laugh.
