Bell Daikokuten stepped up to the stadium and held up his Divine Belial, Ranzo had lost the battle against him so Bell at least had something to work with

Bell: Kerbeus has chains that can help deflect oncoming attackers and it seems like its weight is.. more close to the center

There was something else about Kerbeus that he just couldnt put his finger on

Bell: Despite all that, our attack is completely unmatched, we'll win this with no sweat!

Kensuke (Through Keru): If you think you can win then you're in for a world of hurt! Kerbeus is going to grind you into dust!

Bell gave off a sinister grin as his aura of darkness began to glow

Bell: The only one being grinded into dust is you!

Drone: 1st Battle!

The bladers took their positions and Bells aura began to glow

Bell: I'm going to end this in no time!

Drone: Ready Set!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Chain Kerbeus had taken center stage as Divine Belial charged around the stadium at full speed

Bell: Now! Divine Shoot!

Belial came in for the attack but was immediately repelled by Kerbeus's chains

Bell: What!?

Kensuke (Through Keru): It's going to take a lot more than that to break Kerbeus's defenses.

Kerbeus kept on deflecting Belials attacks one by one as its Yard' Driver was helping keeping it stable

Bell: We're just getting started!

Belial came charging and lands a direct hit on Kerbeus and knocked it back

Bell: Yes!

Kensuke (Through Besu): Lucky hit!

Kerbeus hit the wall and it managed to stay in the game but unfortunately, the impact with the wall had taken out a portion of its stamina

Kensuke (Through Keru): Kerbeus!!

Bell: Divine Bomber!

Belial slams into Kerbeus and it went flying out of the stadium and hit the floor!

Bell: It wasn't a burst?!

Drone: Divine Belial with an Over Finish! Bell Daikokuten earns 1 point!

Kensuke (Through Keru): I bet its eating you up that Kerbeus somehow didnt burst.

Kensuke began to take apart his bey and revealed the underside of the layer, revealing rubber stoppers

Bell: Rubber locks?! It's just like..

Bell remembered his friend Basara and his Roar Bahamut which also had rubber locks, making it tough to burst

Kensuke: Like i said, it's going to take a lot more than just a few attacks to break through the defenses of Chain Kerbeus!

Bell grimaced as he held his bey in his hand, he then began to take apart the layer and flipped the Armor and Core around!

Bell: This time, we're going with High Mode! Kerbeus is sure to burst now!

Ranzo looked at his friend in surprise, this was the first time he had seen Bell use High Mode with Divine Belial

Ranzo: Are you sure it's worth the risk Amigo!?

Bell: It'll be fine, besides he has no idea whats coming!

Drone: 2nd Battle!

Kensuke (Through Keru): High or Low Mode, it doesnt matter. Kerbeus will tear you apart!

Bell: The only one getting torn apart is you!

Drone: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Divine Belial hit the stadium with a hard wobble due to the higher center of gravity as it raced around the stadium while Chain Kerbues rested in the center

Bell: Now Belial! Show no mercy with Divine Shoot!

Kensuke (Through Keru): Kerbeus!!

Belial began its assault on Kerbeus but so far, nothing was breaking through

Bell: Push even harder, no backing down!

Kensuke (Through Keru): I don't think so! Chain Counter!!

Kerbeus's heavy recoil strikes against one of Belials wings and it was sent flying from the blow

Bell: We're not done yet!

Belial managed to recover and continued around the stadium, circling its prey

Kensuke (Through Besu): So what now? You're not scared are you?

Bell: Tch! We're just getting warmed up!

Ranzo called out to his friend

Ranzo: Amigo watch out! Kensuke is planning something, you have to be careful!

Bell: Quiet! I've got this in the bag!

Belial continued to attack Kerbeus relentlessly but no attack was breaking through the chains of hell

Kensuke: Whatever he tells you isn't going to matter, i already know everything you're about to do..

Bell: Impossible! Belial, keep attacking!

Belial kept its assault up but Kerbeus wasn't even budging a single hair

Bell: What's going on?! Why aren't my attacks working?!

Kensuke smirked as the auras of hell began to glow around him

Kensuke: Your attacks would definitely have burst Kerbeus by now if it didn't have that special rubber lock..

Bell was starting to get frustrated and nervous, Belial was going to be losing stamina at some point, if he was going to make a move, it had to be now

Bell: Now! Belial!!

Belial: Let's Go!

Belial was picking up serious speed as the rubber on its Adventure Driver began to spark and it sped around the stadium at full speed

Kensuke (Through Keru): Kerbeus! Now!

Bell: End this! Divine Bomber!!

Belial slams into Kerbeus with full force as its blades were slicing across its chains, dealing as much explosive power it could

Kensuke: It's no use..

Belial was starting to push one side of Kerbeus down and it began to scrape on its Yard' Driver, Bell started to laugh as he thought Victory was just within reach

Bell: How do you like that? Belial reigns supreme!

Kerbeus manages to get away and it races around the stadium at full speed

Bell: What the-?!

Kensuke: End this! Chain Breaker!

Kerbeus comes back around and clashes with Belial, knocking it into the air and forced it into a Burst

Bell: W-Wha-?!

Drone: Chain Kerbeus with a Burst Finish, Kensuke Midorikawa is the winner!

Bell was just shocked at what just happened, he couldnt believe a Defense Type like Kerbeus could have that much power.

Bell: W-What just... happened?!

Kensuke just turned and walked away without another word and left The Gates Of Hell!

---Later---

Phoebe Vancouver was alone in a room Bell gave her at The Gates Of Hell and she was on a video call with someone, it was her older brother

Brother: I've seen your recent battles and to be honest with you, im disappointed.

Phoebe: Disappointed? I beat The Demon King and Shu Kurenai, isn't that enough for now, i was never going to be able to beat Valt.

Brother: Yes, but according to the data that you've collected, you've mastered the Element of Lightning but in recent battles you havent even been using Lightning Pandoras power to its fullest potential.

Phoebe: I damaged both Valt and Shu's beys, if i had pushed Pandora further, things would have ended bad for them.

Brother: So?

Phoebe: So, i literally don't want to have my name in this city dragged through the mud!

Brother: Do you remember the objective Phoebe? Your mission is to obtain Ruin Pandemonium and bring it back to America!

Phoebe got up and turned away from the screen

Phoebe: And then what?

Brother: Well it'll be yours, once you can bring Pandemonium to its full strength, you will never lose to Valt Aoi or anyone ever again.

Those words shook Phoebe to the core and she turned back to the screen

Phoebe: Never lose again huh?

Brother: Phoebe, Father would be proud, we're finishing his work, his MISSION!

Phoebe: Yeah? And where is he now? Is he actually proud of us, or is he just saying that because he knows what he did and trying to make us feel better?!

Brother: Phoebe..

Phoebe: He's using us, dont you see?!

Brother: He didnt take into account that his ultimate creation was bested and that he would have to go into hiding.

Phoebe: Michael, why have you really called?

Her brother, Michael sighed and looked at her

Michael: I'm just making sure you're staying on track, don't let irrelevant people like The Demon King get in the way of our goal..

Phoebe immediately hung up and threw herself on the bed and later she heard a knock on the door

Phoebe (muffled): Come in..

The door opened and Hannah Suiryu came in with a plate of cookies.

Hannah: Jiji made some of his special Demon King cookies to cheer him up after his loss today, these are whats left over since Bell ate most of them

Phoebe smiled kindly as she sat up in bed, took the plate.

Phoebe: Well.. thank you, thats really kind of you.

Hannah: Are you okay?

Phoebe just nodded her head and looked down at the plate of cookies

Phoebe: Yeah, i'm okay, i just need some space for a little bit.

Hannah nodded and slowly exited the room. Phoebe sighed and looked down at both her Lightning Pandora and Tidal Pandora.

Phoebe: Pandora.. Is what i'm doing.. right?

Phoebe was immediately blinded by flashes of light and she was pulled into a dreamscape where she met the un-energized version Pandora, just a gray version of her beys soul

Phoebe: Y-You're...!

Pandora: It's me Phoebe, Pandora.

Phoebe: It is you..

Pandora: Something seems to be troubling you, what's the matter?

Phoebe looked down at her feet sadly and ashamed

Phoebe: I just don't know if im doing the right thing, i want to complete what i was assigned to do but.. i can't just turn my back on the friends i made here.

Pandora: I see..

Phoebe: And i'm afraid that if i go too hard in battle, i'll regret what will happen for the rest of my life.

Pandora: Battles are meant for you to go all out, you should never be afraid to unleash your power no matter the cost. If you feel the exhilarating rush of a high-stakes battle, is that not worth all the hours you spend training?

Phoebe: I suppose so..

The dreamscape disappeared and Phoebe was all alone in her bedroom again, she stared at her Pandoras and smiled.

---Later---

Bell was alone training as he tried to come up with a plan for the next time he faced off against Kensuke

Bell: There just has to be a way to break through its solid defenses

Bell began to remember all the features that Kerbeus displayed in his battle and against Ranzo

Bell: Weight focused to the center of the bey, moving chains and rubber locks to keep it from bursting, this thing has some solid defense..

Bell almost couldnt even think of anything but then, Belial began to glow in his hand and Bell just grinned

Bell: Of course! The Demon King will always prevail, even over the strongest of bladers!

It was then Bell turned his head and saw Phoebe coming towards him

Bell: Phoebe?

Phoebe gave Bell a hard stare, she then held up her Lightning Pandora

Phoebe: We're going to decide this once and for all! Who's strongest between us!

Bell grinned and held up his Divine Belial, the dark bey began to glow

Bell: Challenge accepted!

A blood moon hung high over the Gates Of Hell and Bell's aura of darkness began to glow brightly

Phoebe: Bell, you are my friend but.. you can never know my secret, everything i worked for so far depends on it.

Phoebe and Bell took their position and their showdown began

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Lightning Pandora took the center as Divine Belial came charging in and the clash was fierce as darkness and lightning flashed all over the arena

---Meanwhile---

In a dark mansion in America, Michael Vancouver, Phoebes brother was walking through the halls as he reached the mansions main chamber on the top level of the mansion

Michael: Father..

His father was sitting in a chair, facing towards a series of video screens, Michaels attire consisted of a gray bodysuit with green highlights.

Father: What is Phoebes Progress so far?

Michael: So far she's mastered Lightning Pandoras Elemental Spark to the maximum level, but so far no data on Tidal Pandora.. no progress on the water element.

Father: She needs to get herself together and not get distracted from our goal.

Michael: I tried to tell her that..

Father: My work is not yet complete, your suit is fully ready and operational but Phoebe.. Phoebe will have to earn hers.

Michael straightened and nodded, a bead of sweat going down his face

Father: This suit can help bring out her Elemental Power even more, it's a shame she keeps getting distracted.

Michael: She mentioned someone called the Demon King, i believe she refers to Bell Daikokuten.

Father: Indeed she does, what makes this worse is that Bell is in league with bladers like Valt Aoi and Shu Kurenai.

Michael: Valt and Shu huh? They're the worlds top bladers, Valt currently stands as the World Champion i believe.

Father: Which makes him the biggest threat to our goal, especially after what he did to us..

Michael: And what of The Demon King? Phoebe lives with him now, as far as i know he doesnt suspect a thing.

Father: Let us pray that it stays that way.. Bell finding out our plan could mean trouble for her and for us, the wbba is being run by my enemies so if they catch word of this..

Michael nods as he turned and started to walk away until he heard his fathers voice call out

Father: I want you to go to Japan, check on Phoebe for a few days, make sure she's staying on track.

Michael turned toward his father who had his back turned to him still and nodded, he continued walking as his footsteps could be heard across the stone floor...
