The next day had arrived and Shu was visiting the Gates Of Hell with Valt and they all ate in the garden, Lane soon joined him

Bell: Lane! I knew you would return, battle me again!

Ranzo: Amigo, he just got here, give him some space.

Lane just smiled as he sat down at a table

Bell: Just who are you exactly?

Valt: Lane defeated me and all the Legends and he was Shu's tag team partner during the Legend Super Tag League, he was incredibly strong back then

Bell: Oh really?

Jingemon: Sounds like he's more than meets the eye.

Lane smiled and looked towards Shu who was distributing plates of pasta

Lane: Shu taught me all i know, if it werent for that, i wouldnt be as strong as i am now.

Shu smiled as he placed the last plate down at Bell's spot

Lane: In that case, Shu Kurenai, i will challenge you to a battle myself.

Shu: Lane..

Lane looked determined and Shu was reminded of the old days, he smiled and held up his bey, Burst Spriggan.

Shu: Very well, you're on but rest assured, we won't be holding back!

After lunch, Lane and Shu got set up in the theater of Hell and Lane began to have memory flashes

Lane: All my training has come down to this, i have beat Shu once and he's beat me once.. i will settle the score with this battle!

Shu: Lane, it feels like yesterday that i brought you to the New York Bulls, ive put you through extensive hours of training, now show me your power!

Ranzo: Shu and Lane look pretty intense out there.

Bell: Yeah, ive never seen Shu like this before.

Valt: Shu and Lane have a huge history together, this battle is important for them.

Bell: Really? How so?

Valt: They both beat each other only once, whoever wins this will break the tie.

Hannah: Alright! 1st Battle!!

Lane: I won't hold back Shu, i will unleash my full power!

Shu: Good, show me what you can do!

The 2 bladers took their positions and the battle began

Hannah: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Barricade Lucifer took center stage as Burst Spriggan was charging around the stadium in Left Spin

Lane: That's it Lucifer, hold down the center!

Shu: Spriggan!

Spriggan slams into Lucifer but was instantly stopped by its rubber barrier and couldnt get anywhere close

Shu: That barrier is impressive as always!

Lane: This is only a taste of our fury!

Lucifer was holding Spriggan back and the eyes on the Lucifer core was starting to glow

Lane: Barricade Wall!!

Spriggan was knocked back but it wasnt going to end there as it was racing for the Ignite Zone

Shu: Counter Break! End it!!

Spriggan came charging in and it lands a fierce strike on Lucifer but it only put a small dent in the barrier

Shu: Tch..!

Ranzo: Shu seems to be struggling out there, Lucifer is stronger than i thought!

Bell: Shu! You gotta break that barrier!

Valt: I think he already knows that Bell..

Lane: How's that? You cant get through Lucifers iron strong defense like that!

Shu just smirked as his eyes began to glow, he had one last thing up his sleeve

Shu: Perhaps, however this battle is far from over yet!!

Spriggan charged onto the Ignite Zone once again and it changed colors

Shu: Now Spriggan!!

Spriggan ejects itself from the Ignite Zone and it was heading right for Lucifer

Shu: Burst Slash!!

Lane: Lucifer hang on!

Spriggan slams into Lucifer and manages to push Lucifers barrier all the way back and closes it

Lane: I-Impossible!!

Bell: He did it! He broke the barrier!!

Ranzo: Go get em Shu!

Lane: Well done breaking through Lucifers defenses, but we're not done yet!

Lucifer was now taking a ride on the Ignite Zones and it was picking up speed

Lane: Lucifer!!

Lane: It all ends now! Barricade Disaster!!

Lucifer's blade began to glow and the 2 beys clashed with full force and Spriggan was sent flying

Lane: Yes! And that is a Burst!!

Shu just smirked, his aura still glowing strong

Shu: Are you sure about that?

Lane: What?!

Spriggan hits the wall and manages to stay in the game, with a huge burst of speed, it speeds up towards Lucifer

Shu: Counter Break!!

Spriggan clashes with Lucifer and blows through it, ending the battle with a Burst Finish!

Lane: T-Tch..!

Hannah: Burst Spriggan with a Burst Finish! Shu Kurenai is the winner!!

Lane: I suppose this means i have a long way to go, i will defeat you next time!

Shu smiled as he reached down and picked up his bey

Shu: You did really well, i will agree that you have more to learn if you want to become stronger

Bell looked down at his bey, he wanted to become stronger too in order to defeat Phoebe

---Meanwhile---

Phoebe sat on top of a column overlooking the Luminescent Arena and she held Pandemonium in her hands and soon, thoughts of her brother filled her head

Phoebe: Michael..

The voice of her younger self filled her head and it began to take her back

"Michael! The beytrainer brought us new beys!"

---Flashback---

It was during the time when GT Beys were becoming a thing by a ton of strong bladers but not everyone had the skill to use one

Phoebe and Michael were one day brought with beys that were from the Super-Z System

BeyTrainer: I have brought you two kids with some very special beys.

The beytrainer opened up a briefcase and there was a vast selection of different beys to choose from, some beys she had never seen other bladers use

Phoebe: Wow Michael, look at the different beys, there's so many!

There was about 20 beys in the briefcase, 5 for every type

Beytrainer: Choose wisely because the bey you pick is the bey you will keep.

Phoebe picked her bey and it was a Purple Cho-Z Achilles.0Meteor.Unite, Phoebe was happy with her choice.

Beytrainer: It's your turn Michael. Pick what bey you want.

Michael's stomach turned as he peered into the briefcase and he remembered his injury a few years ago

Phoebe looked at her brother sadly as he turned away from the beys that was presented to him

Michael: I'm not a blader, not anymore..

Michael walked away as Phoebe stared after him sadly, she was disappointed that she wouldnt get to battle with Michael anymore

Phoebe and Michael's family were pretty well off so they lived in a pretty luxurious home

Phoebe ran after her brother as he started to head upstairs to his room

Phoebe: Michael, wait!

Michael stopped at the top of the stairs and looked back towards Phoebe

Phoebe: The beytrainer is still here, there is still time to choose a new bey!

Michael: It's like i just said, im not a blader anymore..

Phoebe: I know your injury still haunts you but come on, that was 3 years ago!

Michael: It doesnt matter, you would never understand the pain i felt then and still do now!

Phoebe looked at him in surprise as he continued up the stairs and went to his room

Phoebe: Michael..

---Flashback Ends---

Phoebe stood up and jumped from the column and she put her mask on

Phoebe: With the power of the Ultimate Elemental Power.. i will crush anything that comes my way

Phoebe runs into Valt and she gives a fierce and sinister smile

Valt: So we finally meet again Phoebe..

Phoebe: Indeed, i hope you've enjoyed the show i've put on for you.

Valt: I wouldn't say that..

Phoebe: That's a shame, i put a lot of effort of entertaining you before our eventual battle.

Valt: You call destroying beys and causing chaos wherever you go "entertainment"?

Phoebe smiled as her aura began to faintly glow around her

Valt: What do you have to gain by following Ashtems orders? Nothing good ever came from doing what he says!

Phoebe: He promised me my dream, a dream to become the best blader the world has ever seen!

Valt looked at her with surprise at her words, he had no idea what to even say.

Phoebe: And not only that, i will topple all of the Legends and with the Ultimate Elemental Power, i will become one myself.

Valt sighed as he looked as the misguided Blader, in a way he felt sorry for her

Valt: And what about your brother? Where does he fall in all of this, he had the same dream, to become the best too.. except he wanted to do it with you!

Phoebe: He is nothing to me now.. If he is not with me, then he is my enemy!

Valt: But the thing is, as long as you wear that mask, you will never be one of the Legends.

Phoebe looked at him in shock, her eyes burned with overwhelming fury

Phoebe: W-What?!

Valt: If you really want to be a Legend then take that mask off!

Valt kept walking away and Phoebe was left stunned, she clutched her Pandemonium tightly, watching her future prey leave.

Phoebe: Valt Aoi.. just you wait, you will see soon enough that i am the strongest! Pandemonium will unleash its full Elemental Power on you!

Phoebe's aura began to grow even more powerful and she felt the power coursing through her very being

Phoebe: Defeating you will ensure that i am the strongest blader ever, if it breaks me then so be it!

Bell was challenging Lane one last time before he left to go to New York, the 2 were alone in the Gates Of Hell

Bell: Lane! This time i will end you in a single strike!

Lane smiled as he prepared to launch, he was ready for what Bell had in store

Lane: Bring it on Demon King, let's see what you can do! But it will end the same way!

Jingemon: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Barricade Lucifer took center stage and Divine Belial was charging in

Bell: Go Belial! Cast them away!!

Belial was knocked back by Lucifer's barrier but it wasnt backing down just yet

Lane: Is that all you got? Unleash more of your power!!

Bell: That was just the beginning now here comes the main event!

Belial's attacks were relentless and Lucifer was taking them all but it wouldnt last forever

Lane: Barricade Wall!!

Lucifers barrier was keeping Belial back but Belial was getting closer and closer to full contact each time

Lane: What?!

Bell: That's it! Keep pushing forward!!

Belial was breaking through Lucifer's defenses and the barrier was being worn thin!

Lane: Lucifer! Hold steady!!

Lucifers defenses were broken and the 2 beys were sent flying back

Bell: Hah! How'd you like that!

Belial took a ride on the Ignite Zone and it picked up even more speed as it was coming right for Lucifer

Lane: End this! Lucifer!!

Lucifer changed colors immediately as it began to pick up speed too but Belial was accelerating too

Bell: Belial! Show no mercy!!

Belial: On it!!

The gears on Belial began to glow and it entered its Elemental Spark state and it shined brightly

Bell: Divine Bomber!!

Lane: Barricade Disaster!!

Belial and Lucifer clashed with all their might and the stadium erupts with a burst of energy, the 2 beys were sent flying and just when it was about to be a draw, Lucifer was burst

Lane: W-What?!

Bell: Alright! The Demon King is victorious!!

Jingemon: Divine Belial with a Burst Finish! Bell Daikokuten, The Demon King is the winner!!

Lane: I will admit, you've gotten stronger but whenever we meet, things will be different!

Bell: Try as you might, you will never defeat the Demon King!

Lane smiled as he turned to walk away, Bell grinned as well, he was happy to have made another rival

Bell: Don't be a stranger now! I hope our next battle is soon!!
