In an abandoned factory in the farther part of town, Lane Valhalla had witnessed the battle between Phoebe and Aiga

Lane: So Aiga Akaba lost to that masked blader.. well, i suppose its finally time to evolve after all.

Lane held his current bey, Lucifer The End in his hand and he smiled as he walked over to the workbench to get started

Lane sat down and began to come up with a design and he began to combine designs from Variant Lucifer and Lucifer The End into one and he got something truly wonderful

Lane: This is it, this is perfect!

Lane's pet hedgehog Harry was eating hedgehog kibble as it looked up and watched Lane construct his new bey

Lane: It's almost ready, the ultimate Lucifer..!

Lane added the finishing touches and loaded the file into the 3D Printer

Lane: The ultimate Flare will be reborn in this new and improved Lucifer..

Some time had past and Lanes new bey was finally complete, Lane put his new bey together and admired his work

Lane: This is it, welcome to the world.. Barricade Lucifer!

Lane heard footsteps echo through the factory and Shu Kurenai stepped out of the darkness

Lane: So it's you, Shu Kurenai!!

Shu smiled as he walked over to the workbench

Shu: I see you finally evolved it.

Lane held up his new bey proudly and it began to give off a purple aura

Lane: This is Barricade Lucifer!

Shu: Barricade Lucifer huh?

Lane: It's done, the ultimate Defense Type this world has ever seen!

Shu: I know just the blader to test it on.

Lane: Really? Who?

Laughter filled the Gates Of Hell and who else but the Demon King Bell Daikokuten

Bell: Now! Divine Bomber!!

Belial knocks Ragnaruk out of the stadium in a single shot and the battle was over

Hannah: Divine Belial with an Over Finish, Bell Daikokuten earns 1 point!

Ranzo: At this point, why do i even try? You always beat me!

Bell: Still, you make great practice, for a test dummy at least!

Ranzo: I'm not a test dummy!

Bell: Oh really, if you can beat me then show me what you can do!

Hannah: Oh boy, here they go again..

Jingemon: This never gets old now does it?

Hannah: Yep!

As Bell and Ranzo continued arguing, Michael was watching from the doorway, he looked down at his armbrace and stared at his new bey which had been added with detail, he began to remember Phoebe's battles against Bell and Aiga

Michael: She defeated Bell, Kensuke and now Aiga.. this can't continue any further, it's time i create this bey.. the ultimate bey of my dreams..

Michael frowned as he turned and started to walk away from the Gates Of Hell

Some time had passed and Bell and Ranso were still practicing

Bell: Go! Belial!!

Ranzo: Ragnaruk! Hold your ground!!

Both beys went flying out of the stadium and hit the ground at the same time

Bell: Aw man! A draw!!

Ranzo: Guess that proves im stronger than you give me credit for!

Bell: What the!?

Bell and Ranzo started arguing again much to the dismay of Hannah and Ranzo and then the door to the Theater opened

Bell: Huh? Whose there?!

A blader stepped through the door and he walked towards the stadium, it was Lane Valhalla

Lane: Is the Demon King here? Ive come to challenge him!!

Bell grinned and jumped up to the stadium and held up his Divine Belial

Bell: That would be me! Who are you?

Ranzo: Bell, you seriously dont know who that is?! That's Lane Valhalla, he competed in the Legend Super Tage League and he defeated all the Legends!

Bell: Seriously, this guy did all of that? The first part i'll believe but the 2nd part, there's no way HE defeated all the Legends!

Jingemon: It is true, Lane Valhalla was one of the strongest bladers of the new generation and based on his battle record recently, he still is.

Hannah: He was able to beat Lui, Free, Shu and even Valt with spectacular ease!

Bell: Well if you're so tough, then prove it!

Lane: I have one condition though!

Ranzo: What is it?

Lane: Ranzo, i have also battled your relatives Rantaro and Ranjiro, i will take you on first

Bell: Hey! What about me?!

Lane: I will face you next, i hope you are able to live to the title of Demon King!

Lane grinned and held up his bey and it glowed with a purple and black flame

Lane: This is Barricade Lucifer!

Ranzo: Barricade Lucifer huh?

Bell: It looks strong.. there's something weird about that bey!

Jingemon: Alright! 1st Battle!

The bladers took their positions and the battle began

Jingemon: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and 4 pink blades extended from Lucifer as it landed in the stadium, forming a round energy barrier around it

Ranzo: W-What the-?! What is that!

Ragnaruk slams into Lucifer but the barrier kept it back and away from its Blade

Ranzo: What?!

Bell: Woah! What is that?!

Hannah: It looks like some kind of barrier!

Hannah looked beside her and saw Harry the hedgehog waltzing its way towards her

Hannah: Huh?

Ragnaruk kept attacking at Lucifers barrier but it was no use

Lane: It'll take more than that to beat Barricade Lucifer!

Ranzo: Tch! Ragnaruk, keep on fighting!!

Ragnaruk disengages as it sped around the stadium at high speed

Ranzo: Let's do this thing! Ragnaruk!!

Ragnaruk took a ride on the Ignite Boost as it picked up some more speed and was coming straight for Lucifer

Ranzo: Let's go! Finish it Double Wing Cyclone Grande!!

Ragnaruk slams into Lucifer and the barrier was starting to bend back at last

Hannah: He's doing it, he's breaking the barrier!

Bell: Ranzo! Push it even harder!!

Lane let out a loud and fierce roar as his dark flare began to glow around him like a wildfire, leaving everyone surprised

Lane: End it! Barricade Wall!!

The stadium erupts with a ball of dark fire and Ragnaruk was sent flying and burst

Ranzo: N-No!!

Jingemon: Barricade Lucifer with a Burst Finish! Lane Valhalla is the winner!!

Ranzo: That power.. it's incredible...

Lane looked over towards the Demon King and held up his Barricade Lucifer

Lane: It's your turn, Bell Daikokuten!!

Bell grinned as he stepped up to the stadium and held up his Divine Belial

Bell: Barricade Lucifer huh? I must say, that's a very strong bey you have!

Lane smiled and he remembered what Shu had told him

---Flashback---

Lane: Bell Daikokuten huh?

Shu: Correct, he's a super strong blader and i think he'll be worthy of your talents.

Lane looked down at his Lucifer and it began to glow

Lane: Alright then, i'll pay him a visit.

Lane: Shu spoke highly of you, show me why..

Jingemon: Alright, time for the 1st Battle!!

The 2 bladers took their positions and the battle began

Jingemon: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Barricade Lucifer took center stage as Divine Belial raced around the stadium at full speed

Bell: Now! Divine Shoot!!

Belial came charging in and began to fire off a barrage of attacks on Lucifer but its barrier was holding strong

Lane: That's not enough! Attack us even more!!

Belial kept its onslaught of attacks coming but Lucifer was keeping it at bay with its barrier

Bell: Push it even further! Now Belial!!

Lucifer was taking attack after attack but its barrier was still iron solid!

Hannah: That barrier is indestructible, Belial cant get anywhere close!

Ranzo: Amigo! Attacking recklessly wont break that barrier, you got to break it in one attack!

Bell: The Demon King will send you flying!!

Belial disengages from its barrage and began to speed up towards the Ignite Zone and it began to change colors

Lane: Yes that's it, unleash more power!

Bell: Now go! Belial!!

Belial uses the Ignite Zone and gains more speed as it heads straight for Lucifer

Bell: Divine Bomber!!

Lane: Put an end to this! Lucifer!!

Lucifer changed colors too and its glow filled the stadium

Bell: W-What the-?!

Lane: Barricade Wall!!

Belial slams into Lucifer with all its strength and the barrier bent back but kept its opponent at bay, the stadium explodes with a burst of energy and Belial was defeated with a Burst

Bell: I-Impossible!!

Jingemon: Barricade Lucifer with a Burst Finish! Lane Valhalla is the winner!!

Bell: T-Tch..!

Lane: Shu told me you were a strong blader, it would appear that i wasted my time.

Lane put on his coat and began to walk away, leaving Bell absolutely fuming

Bell: T-Tch.. why you..!!

Bell noticed Lane's hedgehog Harry waddling by and it looked at Bell

Bell: Huh? Who let that get in here?

The hedgehog hissed at Bell as its quills spiked up, scaring the hell out of him

Ranzo: Dont tell me you're scared of a hedgehog!

Hannah: It's actually kind of cute!

Bell: No its not, it hissed at me!!

Harry waddled its way outside and climbed up Lanes arm into his fur collar, he looked back inside towards Bell before walking away

---Later---

Phoebe stood alone at the Luminescent Arena and she was now contacting Ashtem

Ashtem: Your last battle against Aiga was simply marvelous, Pandemonium is better than i could've expected!

Phoebe: It was an easy victory, i've defeated him before.

Ashtem: Yes i know, however, i want to ask who you plan to battle next.

Phoebe: What do you mean?

Ashtem: Once your Elemental Power is at its highest level, we will exact our revenge on Valt Aoi but until then, who do you plan to challenge next?

Phoebe: I dont know, ive only battled Aiga, Bell and one of Valts old friends.

Ashtem: That would be perfect, Aiga Akaba also has relations to Valt Aoi. Challenge those who are close to him, we will crush his spirit!

Phoebe hung up and sighed as she removed her mask, she began to think about Bell

Phoebe: Demon King, why can't i get you out of my head?

Phoebe looked down at her Ruin Pandemonium and it began to emit an evil dark aura

Phoebe: As long as i have Pandemonium.. nobody will ever beat me..! Not now and not ever.

Bell trained alone in the Gates Of Hell and he remembered what Lane had said to him

Bell: Lane Valhalla huh..? Next time we battle, The Demon King will be the one who wins!

Hannah: Looks like he's pretty upset.

Ranzo: I guess his loss against Lane really got to him.

Hannah: You think he'll be okay?

Ranzo: It's Bell after all, im sure he'll be just fine.

The two watched as Bell continued training, they knew he was going to be at this for a while

---Meanwhile---

Lane was back at his abandoned factory and he was also practicing at the stadium, his thoughts dwelled on Bell

Lane: Bell Daikokuten huh? I will give you some credit, you're an interesting one, i'll give you that.

Lane looked up and saw Phoebe Vancouver entering the factory and she walked up to the stadium, she didnt have her mask on

Lane: Phoebe Vancouver, i was wondering when i would get the chance to battle you.

Phoebe: That name has no meaning to me anymore, i am Akuma.

Lane: I suppose you're here to challenge me, just like you did with Aiga.

Phoebe: Except i'm not going to wait for the wbba to decide when the battle takes place, we're doing this right now!

Lane: I will agree to one battle and no more.

Phoebe held up her Ruin Pandemonium as her dark aura began to glow around her

Lane: This feeling... she's.. she's just like how i used to be, a power hungry maniac.. i can see it in her eyes!

The bladers took their positions and the battle began

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Barricade Lucifer took center stage and Ruin Pandemonium was coming in hot

Phoebe: Alright Pandemonium!

Pandemonium slams into Lucifers barrier and a massivr burst of light filled the entire factory
