It was the next morning and it was actually rather early and Bell had actually followed Xhaka out into the wilderness to copy his training

Ranzo: Is he really going to try and copy Xhaka's training routine?

Valt: I mean Bell is pretty tough, im sure he'll be fine.

Wakiya: Considering how intense Xhaka's training is, wont surprise me if Bell taps out in the middle of training.

Bell took off after Xhaka in the first stage of the training which was Log jumping where they had to run across the tops of logs and make it to the end

Bell: The Demon King will keep up with you! Just you wait!!

Bell managed to complete the first stage of training and he kept after Xhaka, next was climbing up a massive hill, Xhaka was impressed that Bell was managing to keep up with him

Xhaka: Impressive, im surprised you made it this far!

Bell: We're just getting warmed up so you better get ready Xhaka!

Bell chased after the Laughing Giant to the top of the hill and sure enough, Bell was out of breath

Xhaka: You're not half bad, you successfully made it this far but there is one final test!

Bell: What is it?

Xhaka: 500 Launches!

Bell was surprised, waa 500 launches even possible? But Bell was eager to take on the challenge

Hours had passed and Xhaka had finished his 500 launches and Bell wasnt far behind, he only had 1 launch left but he was incredibly tired to the point where he could barely lift his arms.

Bell: Man.. is this really what he does for special training everyday..?! Unreal!

Xhaka: Come on you have one launch left, you're not quitting yet are you?!

Bell struggled to his feet as he could just barely lift up his launcher

Bell: Not yet, we're not quitting yet! Not now and not ever!!

Xhaka smiled and nodded in approval, Bell's fighting spirit reminded him so much of Valt when they battled all those years ago.

Xhaka: Valt, it's clear the effect you have on these guys, this guy reminds me so much of you.

Bell: GO SHOOT!!

And it was over, Bell had completed the 500 Launch challenge but he was incredibly worn out.

Bell: We... did it..

Bell collapsed to the floor and he passed out from all the intense training that he went through today.

---Later---

Xhaka had brought the unconsious Bell back to SB Rios and he was out like a light, he wouldnt be able to partake in a battle.

Xhaka: Bell has been through a lot today, i think he deserves a rest for a while.

Wakiya: Today is his battle, i suppose we can postpone it until tomorrow.

Phoebe had slipped away as she was contacting her brother

Michael picked up and he looked rather pleased to see his sister again.

Phoebe: Michael!

Michael: Phoebe, is something up?

Phoebe: I came to let you know that Bell's battle has been postponed until tomorrow, he attemped Xhaka's training and now he's out of commission for the day.

Michael: I see... have you had the chance to try out Twister Pandora?

Phoebe: I have, it really is something else! I'll surely beat Xhaka with this!

Michael gave a small smile and the thought of Ashtem came to his mind

Phoebe: Well i have to go, i'll talk to you soon!

Phoebe hung up and Michael sighed, he knew he would have to tell her about Ashtem and the truth about their real family.

---The Next Day---

The time of the 2nd Match had come and it was Bell vs Xhaka, Bell was now back to his old self as he held up his Divine Belial

Bell: Xhaka, you better get ready because we're not showing any mercy.

Xhaka laughed as he held up his Xiphoid Xcalibur as it began to glow with a blood red aura

Xhaka: Is that so because Xcalibur and I will blast you into complete oblivion!

Their auras began to glow like fire, this was going to be one intense battle

Ranzo: Looks like they're getting serious out there!

Phoebe: Yeah no kidding.. scary!

Valt: It's been so long since ive seen Xhaka this serious in a battle

Wakiya: Since Xhaka won the last battle with ease, he should have no problem here!

Michael had his eye on Belial's power level and he remembered his battle against Drum, where he unleashed Elemental Spark

Michael: Belial can use Elemental Spark.. so let's see if it can get any stronger.

Computer: 1st Battle!!

The bladers took their positions and the battle began

Computer: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!!

The beys were off and Divine Belial and Xiphoid Xcalibur raced around the stadium at full speed

Bell: Alright Belial, let's go!

Xhaka: Let em have it, Xcalibur!!

The 2 beys clashed with all their might and sparks were already starting to fly

Bell: Now!

Belial's D-Gear upgrade jolts across Xcalibur, delivering a powerful counterattack and sent it flyint

Bell: Haha! How'd you like that!?

Xhaka: Not bad..

Xcalibur fell back on the Upper Deck and it was heading for the Ignite Boost

Xhaka: But it won't be enough!!

Xcalibur was picking up speed as it lept off of the Ignite Boost and landed back in the stadium

Xhaka: Xcalibur, Go!!

Bell: Tch.. Belial hold on!

Phoebe: Xhaka really means business, he's using the stadiums abilities to his advantage!

Ranzo: Seriously! Is it even possible to beat this guy?!

Bell: It's not over yet! Descend into darkness Xcalibur!!

An aura of Darkness began to surround Belial, it was its own Elemental Spark!

Phoebe's eyes narrowed at the radiating aura that was emitting from Belial

Phoebe: There it is, Elemental Spark!

Michael gave a slight smile as he looked towards the data with a side-eye, Belial's power was starting to rise, Belial's Power Level was starting to rise past 35%

Michael: His Elemental Spark is growing rapidly..

Xhaka: Pierce through Xcalibur! Xiphoid Impact!!

Bell: Divine Counter!!

Belial and Xcalibur charged around the stadium at full speed and clashed in the center with full force

Bell/Xhaka: Now finish this!!

The 2 beys were sent flying and it was close but the one who hit the ground first was Xcalibur by only a split second

Xhaka: What?!

Computer: Divine Belial, Over Finish! Bell Daikokuten earns 1 point!!

Bell: Haha! How was that?!

Xhaka: You're not half bad after all, guess all that training paid off!

Phoebe watched the battle and her eyes narrowed, she remembered Bell had attempted Xhaka's training, was that what allowed Bell to win.

Phoebe: I guess all that training helped after all..

Valt: Bell has really gotten stronger, he just might be able to win this.

Valt remembered that of course, Xhaka would have way more up his sleeve this time

Computer: 2nd Battle!

Bell: We're not holding anything back so come at us, im going to grind Xcalibur into dust!

Xhaka: The only one turning to dust is you!

Computer: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

The beys were off and Belial was wasting no time going on the attack as it headed right for Xcalibur!

Xhaka: W-What?!

Bell: Divine Shoot!!

Belial lands a brutal strike to Xcaliburs sword and sent it flying

Bell: Yes!!

Michael was impressed at Bell's strategy, perhaps there was more to him than he thought

Michael: I see now.. Xcalibur's Sword is the place where it takes the most damage so that's its main weakpoint and Belial just exploited it.. perhaps i misjudged you Demon King...

Xcalibur landed on the upper deck and it recovered

Xhaka: It's going to take more than that to beat Xcalibur!

Bell: That was just the opening act now here's the main event!

Belial and Xcalibur were trading blows and neither bey was seeming to back down

Bell: Belial!!

Xhaka: Xcalibur!!

Xcaliburs lock began to move and it moved past the 1st click, Xcalibur was starting to hit harder

Michael noticed this change and he was beginning to get worried

Michael: It's taken a lot of damage but it doesnt seem to be faltering.. in fact, it appears to have increased in power!

Ranzo: Is it me or is Xhaka really quiet right now?

Phoebe: Yeah..!

Valt: This is where Xhaka unveils all of his true might!

Phoebe could see it too, Xcalibur's power was starting to rise even more

Bell: Enough messing around! Time to fall into the shadows!!

Belial disengaged and it began to charge around the stadium at full speed, Xhaka stood there amused

Bell: It's time to end it! Belial!!

Belial was picking up even more speed as it rose up to the Upper Deck and headed to the Ignite Boost

Bell: Now do it! Divine Dive!!

Belial leaps off of the Ignite Boost and launches Xcalibur back towards the wall

Bell: And that's that! That's a victory for me!!

Xhaka smirked as a faint red aura of hell began to glow around him

Xhaka: I wouldn't be so sure..

Xcalibur slams into the wall as the disk moves again and the lock moved past the 2nd click as a metal sword slid out from the Xcalibur core and filled in the gap in the Xiphoid Blade

Xhaka: Now go!

Bell: Wait what?!

Xcalibur propells itself off the wall and lands back in the stadium

Xhaka: Alright Xcalibur! Show them your power, reveal it for the world to see!

Xcalibur was closing the gap fast as its sword was glowing with a streak of golden energy as it spun at high speed

Xhaka: Double Xiphoid Impact!!

Xcalibur zips past Belial so fast that it looked like it didnt even touch it but then..

Burst!

Belial had been burst in just a single, swift attack and the pieces fell to the stadium

Bell: I-Impossible..!

Computer: Xiphoid Xcalibur, Burst Finish! Xhaka is the winner!!

Bell couldnt believe it, he had lost to another legend in this tournament

Phoebe watched in horror at the power of Xcalibur, could she actually win against that level of power?

Phoebe: Xcalibur is stronger than i thought, there might be no way for me to win..

Phoebe looked down at her Twister Pandora and she clutched it tightly

Phoebe: I don't want to lose..

A loud heartbeat-like sound filled Phoebe's head, she suddenly felt cold as the thought of losing washed over her

Phoebe: Lose..? No, i will win, no matter what it takes!

She suddenly heard Valt call out to her and she snapped out of her trance

Valt: Phoebe! You good?

Phoebe just nodded and smiled as she walked away, leaving Valt even more worried.

Valt: Phoebe?

---Later---

Phoebe and Michael were talking and now, the topic of Ashtem had come up.

Michael: There's something i have to tell you, it's involving our so-called father.

Phoebe: What's wrong?

Michael: He's not our father, in fact he isn't who we thought he was. He's some guy named Ashtem.

Phoebe: Ashtem?

Michael: I did some research on the name and i found that he did experimentations on bladers a few years ago.

Phoebe was in shock, she couldnt believe what she was hearing.

Phoebe: T-That can't be true..!

Michael: One of the bladers he experimented on was Shu Kurenai, and so much so that he ended up getting corrupted by the bey he and Ashtem created, Spriggan Requiem and at the time, it was the Ultimate Bey, there was no bey that could beat it.. until...

Michael remembered that Valt was the only person who was able to overcome Spriggan Requiems power and defeat it

Phoebe: Surely he's not trying to still create the Ultimate Bey right?

Michael: Not create, Pandemonium has already been made and is ready for the taking, someone just needs to go and take it from the ruins.

Phoebe: None of this is making any sense, why would father do this?

Michael: Don't you see?! He's trying to do to you what he did to Shu! Pandemonium takes control of anyone who uses it, no matter what!

Phoebe: Well what should we do? I can't just let that happen!

Michael: What can we do? There's nothing we can do, Ashtem will do whatever he can to make you lose control of yourself that way Pandemonium takes you completely.

Phoebe hung up the phone, she couldnt believe what she just heard, if Ashtem wasnt her real father then... where were her real parents?
