Due to news on Chain Kerbeus being slow as christmas, the debut episode for Kerbeus has been pushed back until the 9th Episode and i didn't want this story to have a long dry period so i came up with something else for this Episode instead. Next Episode *will* be the debut of Kerbeus and that should be out whenever Kerbeus finally gets revealed.

*It had been some time after Bell had defeated Rashad again and Valt had beaten Chiyoh in battle and Bell was completely bored, he had no opponents to face off with and he sat alone in the Gates Of Hell, sulking*

Bell: I haven't had a new and interesting opponent in days, this is getting ridiculous!

*Bell was still very upset that he had lost the ability to use Gears on the new Belial, he was starting to wonder if the Star Fragment inside of Belial was the reason behind it*

Bell: I wonder if it's because of that silly Star Fragment.. that my gears have been reduced to ruin!

*Bell got to his feet and stormed out into the city, looking for opponents to battle whether they were noobs or not*

---Meanwhile---

*Chiyoh stood in a Beylab in the Sparking Arena and she placed her Perseus on the table, the bey sparkling and twinkling with light sparkles*

Chiyoh: Perseus..

---Flashback---

*It had been a day or so later and Chiyoh had found Valt standing on the rooftops of the Beigoma Academy School and he was sitting on the bench next to his iconic training spot*

Valt: Chiyoh..?

Chiyoh: Valt? I would like a word with you.

*Chiyoh went over and sat next to her mentor*

Valt: What's up?

Chiyoh: With your permission, i would like to make certain improvements to my Perseus.

Valt: Chiyoh, it's your bey. You can upgrade it however you please.

Chiyoh: But the thing is, i would like to incorporate features from Valkyrie into Perseus, if that's alright with you?

*Valt looked at Chiyoh with wide eyes, her words were just like the words of Rashad back in the days when he wanted to use his own version of Valkyrie*

Valt: Chiyoh..

Chiyoh: I know it's silly but i really want to take Perseus to the next level, but i don't want to do it without your permission. Please Valt, please let me take inspiration from you.

*Valt just smiled and he got to his feet*

Valt: Chiyoh, you're allowed to do whatever you want with Perseus but there's just one thing.

Chiyoh: What is it Valt?

Valt: You have to be careful when battling from here on out, the desire to only win can consume even the strongest of bladers, i don't want to see you go down that path.

*Chiyoh nodded and smiled lightly, understanding*

Chiyoh: I promise Valt, i won't let you down.

*Chiyoh got up and left as Valt watched her leave but a feeling of certain uneasiness fell upon him, he couldn't figure out what it was though.*

*Chiyoh smiled as she sat down at the workbench and started to work, she pulled up the 2 Dynamite Battle Evolutions of Valkyrie and examined them both, looking for inspiration for her new upgrades*

Chiyoh: Savior Valkyrie combines the power of its bound attack and its jumping ability to deal counterattacks while Ultimate Valkyrie focuses on raw brute force with speed and power, both are equally strong..

*Chiyoh had finally found what she needed and she began to work, she printed off a clear version of the Shot driver and it twinkled and glowed in the light shining upon it*

Chiyoh: I'll draw out Perseus's true power properly next time, but for now.. i think this will do nicely..

*Chiyoh put her Perseus back together and it began to glow brightly*

Chiyoh: I won't lose again, not to the likes of Bell Daikokuten or anyone else again..!

*Chiyohs eyes began to glow again as they emitted a streak of golden energy, her aura was glowing brightly as she turned and walked out*

---Later---

*Bell had brought ruin to the noob bladers he went out of his way to battle and they didn't put up much of a challenge for Belial at all.*

Bell: Hmph! That wasn't even challenging at all!

*The kids groaned in pain as Bell flapped his cape behind him and walked off, Chiyoh was watching him from the distance. Bell walked through Japan as he pouted*

Bell: There has to be something i can do.. in order to get a lot stronger..

*Bell had returned to the Gates Of Hell and Basara and Chiyoh were there and they were stood at the stadium*

Bell: Basara? Chiyoh?

Basara: I've come to see how strong you really are, you won't defeat me or my Roar Bahamut!

*Chiyoh stared Basara down, her eyes began to glow with a streak of energy*

Chiyoh: If you want to get in my way of becoming stronger, then i'll just have to crush you here and now..

*Chiyoh held up her Perseus at a side profile and Basara and Bell were shocked at the sight*

Basara: Is that-?!

Bell: The Shot Driver?!

Chiyoh: With Valts permission, i've taken Perseus right to the next level and it will only continue to get stronger too!

*Basara stared at Chiyoh, a lot of the things Rashad had said about her were coming true*

Basara: I'm settling this! Rashad was right about you..

Chiyoh: Rashad is pathetic, he wanted to live up to the name of Valt and Valkyrie with his own Valkyrie, a copycat! But he's a total failure who realized he couldn't bring out all of Valkyries power so he tossed it aside but not before dragging Valkyries name through the ground!

Bell: Chiyoh what are you talking about?

Chiyoh: Valt helped me understand the true meaning of Beyblade, i will not let his efforts and teachings go to waste and burn!

Bell: So you're another pitiful blader with a little hatred against Rashad.. that's kinda boring.

Chiyoh: No, i want to be what Rashad could not: The true successor to Valt!

*Bell and Basara looked at Chiyoh as she stepped closer to the stadium*

Basara: Bell, i'll handle this battle.

*Bell just stood back, letting Basara take this next battle, the Demon King Drone flew in and it hovered above the stadium*

Drone: 1st Battle!!

*The 2 bladers took their positions*

Basara: If you can prove that you are better than Rashad, i would like to see what you're really capable of..

Drone: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Bahamut had immediately taken the center*

Basara: Yes! The center is ours!!

*The newly upgraded Savior Perseus raced around the center at full speeds as its light began to glow*

Chiyoh: Perseus! Strike it down!!

*Perseus charged in and it landed a fierce attack on Bahamut but it was able to withstand the attack and Perseus was sent flying8

Basara: How's that? This is the true defensive power of Bahamut!

*Perseus had hit the wall and it survived the blow, it came back in for the next attack, its swords glowing bright with a streak of energy*

Chiyoh: True Savior Slash!!

*Perseus slashed across Bahamut and it instantly formed into a perfect circle, Bahamut was knocked back and it used the Moment drivers ring to recover*

Basara: Go for it! Moment Crash!!

*Bahamut speeds up and clashes with Perseus with full force and knocked it back again! Perseus hit the wall and it kept on going as well, its speed not dropping at all*

Chiyoh: Perseus! Hero Shoot now, don't hold back!!

*Perseus was picking up speed and it was hammering Bahamut with a fierce barrage of attacks*

Basara: Hang in there.. Bahamut..!!

*Bell was in awe at the gained power that Chiyoh had received*

Bell: T-That's amazing..!

*Perseus landed another attack and its new Shot driver began to glow*

Chiyoh: True Shot Upper!!

*Perseus flies into the air and takes Bahamut with it*

Basara: I-It' cant be!!

*Bahamut landed back in the stadium and it took the center as its spin was getting weaker and weaker*

Basara: Bahamut!!

*Bahamut glowed brightly as its Moment driver was keeping it going*

Chiyoh: Crush them! Perseus!!

*Perseus charged around the stadium at full speed as its aura glowed brightly and Bahamut was still in the center, awaiting the next attack*

Basara: Bring it on!

Chiyoh: Take this! True Savior Slash!!

*Perseus races towards Bahamut and its swords shatter Bahamuts defenses and its swords slash across Bahamuts rough perimeter*

Basara: Bahamut!!

*Chiyohs eyes began to burn with a spark of flames and they started to glow! Bahamut was burst instantly and the pieces of Bahamut slammed against the wall with a hard and loud thud*

Basara: I-Impossible!

Drone: Savior Perseus with a Burst Finish! Chiyoh Rei is the winner with a score of 2-0!!

*Chiyoh stared down at Basara as her aura faintly glowed*

Basara: B-Bahamut..

Chiyoh: Is that all you got? I can't be bothered with weak bladers like you..

*Basara gasped in surprise at what Chiyoh had said, this wasn't the Chiyoh they all knew*

Basara: Tch..!!

Bell: You have some nerve talking big like that, you only won one battle!

*Chiyoh looked over at Bell and she frowned*

Chiyoh: I can't be bothered with you either Demon King, bladers like you mean nothing to me anymore..

*Chiyoh turned and walked out of the Gates Of Hell, Bell and Basara watched as she was soon out of sight*

---Later that day---

*Bell was alone in the Gates Of Hell as he thought about Chiyoh, something about the way she acted earlier that day didn't seem right.*

Bell: Chiyoh has been acting weird lately, i wonder what's going on.. Why did she change Perseus's parts?

*Bell then remembered Chiyoh's words before and even after the battle*

"With Valts permission, i've taken Perseus right to the next level and it will only continue to get stronger too!"

*Bell sat wondering, something was just not right with Chiyoh and Bell had a feeling that she was getting a more stronger desire to win and the desire to be stronger than Valt was completely overwhelming her*

Bell: Something needs to be done about her before it's too late.

*Bell shrugged it off and went off to train, his thoughts about Chiyoh fleeing his mind*

Bell: But! Not my problem.

---Meanwhile---

*Chiyoh met up with Valt again and they met at the top of Beigoma Academy again*

Valt: I heard you won against Basara, that's awesome!

Chiyoh: Yeah, it was really cool! Perseus's new changes are paying off!

Valt: Still, even though you won, you can't solely rely on Perseus and its sheer attack power. You have to eventually learn to forge a true bond with Perseus.

Chiyoh: That's the thing that i'm missing.. but the problem is, i can't..!

Valt: Why not?

Chiyoh: I don't know Valt but i just can't!

*Chiyoh looked away and she stared off into the distance*

Valt: Chiyoh what's wrong? You aren't usually like this, in fact you have been acting a little strange lately.

Chiyoh: The thing is Valt, every time i try to forge a bond with Perseus, i feel something lurking inside me and its dark and cold and because of that, that power that was drawn out of me was what obliterated Rashads bey! I don't want to cause any harm to anyone.. that's why i haven't made any recent effort to bond with it..

Valt: You're trying to force it to bond with you, that's not the correct way to bond with your bey.

Chiyoh: It's not?

Valt: Bonding with Valkyrie wasn't easy either but you have to learn to give it time and listen to the voice of your bey, if you really listen then it could be your first steps to bonding with Perseus.

Chiyoh: Valt..

Valt: Believe me, forging the bond i have with Valkyrie now was never easy. There was a lot of trial and error i had to go through in order to make my bond with Valkyrie the way it is today.

*Chiyoh held her bey in her hand at it began to glow with a gold and white aura, Chiyoh just smiled at it as she tightened her grip around the bey*

Chiyoh: Still, i can't let myself fall to that level, it's not like me at all..

*Chiyoh just smiled down at her bey and Valt smiled too*

Valt: As for Bell, he's always been an interesting one. Perhaps he can help you.

---Later---

*Chiyoh had went back to the Gates Of Hell and she walked into the Theater where Bell was alone training*

Chiyoh: Bell?

*Bell looked up and and he smiled mischievously*

Bell: I knew you'd be back.

Chiyoh: Decided to take a swing at you once again, let's see how well you fare against me again.

*Bell looked at her and his face was all serious*

Bell: It won't matter how hard you try, i'll bring you to ruins once again!

*Chiyoh just looked at Bell and her eyes were completely fixed on him, she remembered the first time she lost to Bell*

Chiyoh: I won't allow myself to lose to you again, i simply won't..

*The 2 bladers took positions at the stadium as the Drone came hovering in*

Drone: 1st Battle!!

*Bells eyes began to glow as Chiyohs began to do the same*

Chiyoh: Let's do this thing.. Bell..!

Drone: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Belial was racing around the stadium with full speed as Perseus was chasing after it*

Chiyoh: Send it flying!!

Bell: Go Belial! Show no mercy!!

*Belial and Perseus collide with all their might and Belials lock started to advance some*

Chiyoh: It's over!

*Perseus knocked Belial back as the disk struck its Burst Lock*

Bell: You won't break our Burst Lock that easily, try again!

*Belial landed back in the stadium and tilted on the rubber of its Adventure Driver*

Bell: Now go for it! Adventure Shoot!!

*Belial came charging in and it fired off a barrage of fierce strikes upon Perseus and was knocking it back and forth with each clash*

Chiyoh: We're not done yet!

*Perseus countered and it started to speed up too*

Chiyoh: Hero Shoot!!

*The sharp tip on the Shot driver fizzed and smoked as it charged in and the 2 beys were locked in a fierce back and forth clash*

Bell: And now, you'll face our wrath! Prepare yourself!!

*Chiyoh just looked at Bell with surprise, remembering what Valt had said earlier*

"As for Bell, he's always been an interesting one. Perhaps he can help you."

*Chiyohs eyes narrowed as they glowed with a green light*

Chiyoh: I don't need his help..

Bell: Go Belial!!

Chiyoh: Perseus!!

*The 2 beys raced around the stadium and came in for the center for the next attack*

Bell: Ignite and Explode! Divine Bomber!!

Chiyoh: True Savior Slash!!

*The 2 beys clashed with all their might as the stadium erupted with a burst of purple and yellow energy, it was a fierce explosion! Chiyoh felt her heart beat loudly, she was brought to a void where there was only stars and she saw a knight like figure standing in front of her with its body completely shadowed out but Chiyoh understood what it was, her eyes teared up and emotions of anger and hatred immediately filled her mind*

Chiyoh: Now go!!

*Perseus's sword slashes across Belials metal wing and its Burst Lock had shattered under the pressure and Belial was burst*

Bell: W-Wha-!?

Drone: Savior Perseus with a Burst Finish! Chiyoh Rei is the winner!!

*Bell was shocked as the pieces of Belial hit the stadium floor with a clang, the part of the Burst Lock fell right next to it. Chiyoh just stared at the stadium with no emotion, her aura glowed brightly around her*

Chiyoh: .....

Bell: B-Belial..
