*It was later that night after all the battles of Block A and Bell stood on the Bow of the Cruise ship and he looked out over the ocean, the moon shining high above the vast sea and he stared down at his Divine Belial with a slight smile*

Bell: Belial.. we're making it so far. We've made it to the 2nd Round and our next opponent is Free, it's amazing to think we've come this far in such a short amount of time..

*Bell still remembered that fateful day, the day he had evolved his former Dangerous Belial into the new and more modern Divine Belial that was derived from the energy of a mysterious Star Fragment, it was then that Bell was changing the course of Beyblade forever with this new power*

Bell: With our new Ultimate Gear evolution, we should be unstoppable!

*Bell continued to stare out over the ocean and he clearly didn't notice Chiyoh standing behind him, watching him*

Chiyoh: Demon King..

---Meanwhile---

*Xhaka was in a training room alone and he watched as his Xiphoid Xcalibur raced around the stadium at full speed, he remembered the first time he had battled Chiyoh and looked back to how she was now, a lot had changed..*

Xhaka: It's interesting to see how much Chiyoh has evolved over the course of just a few weeks, the transition from Perseus to Cassiel is interesting for sure..

*Xhaka also could see how much Chiyoh had changed over a period of time, Xhaka could tell she wasn't the same blader as before*

Xhaka: But even so... Chiyoh has changed a lot since i last battled her, going by the title of Queen Of Light sounds fascinating but, i wonder how much she's actually changed..

*Xhaka continued to train as hard as he could, he was hopeful that he would win but knowing Chiyoh, you just couldn't predict what would happen in a battle with her.*

---The Next Day---

*The Block B 1st Round was that day and there was no delay, the first match would be Chiyoh vs Xhaka. The 2 bladers made it up to the arena that morning and walked up to the stadium*

Xhaka: Chiyoh Rei, it's been a long time since we last battled each other.

*Chiyoh just said nothing and her aura began to glow faintly as her eyes began to glow, Xhaka just stared at her with a bit of concern as he saw the aura of darkness swirl around her*

Xhaka: Not much of a talker huh? I see how it is, you still remember how i defeated you that day, well i'm here to tell you that it's going to happen again!

*Chiyoh took out her launcher and held up her Royal Cassiel.*

Chiyoh: I didn't have to say it but you'll be hard pressed to even land a dent in Cassiel, this isn't going down like it did back then..!

*Bell, Valt and the others were in the crowd and Valt was watching the battle closely, he was worried that whatever happened the battle, wasn't going to go well*

Bell: I wonder what Xhaka has up his sleeve, Cassiel is a really solid Defense Type bey.

Ranzo: He's got to have something planned, battling against Chiyoh without a plan is pretty much asking to lose.

Valt: I'm more worried about what Chiyoh has planned, this is going to be interesting..

Referee: 1st Battle!!!

*The bladers took their positions and the battle between the 2 bladers began at last*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!!

*The beys were off and Royal Cassiel had taken the center immediately as its shields were extended and Xiphoid Xcalibur raced around the stadium at full speed*

Xhaka: Go Xcalibur! Strike it down!!

*Chiyoh watched patiently as Xcalibur started to wail at Cassiel with a vicious barrage of attacks from its sword but Cassiel's defenses were holding strong*

Chiyoh: You're not going to beat us that easily.. Try even harder!

Xhaka: Go!!!

*Xcalibur lands another powerful blow as the lock advanced once and Cassiel was sent back a bit but recovered and reclaimed the center*

Xhaka: I'm gonna end this with the next strike, Cassiel has too much stamina to make this a battle of endurance...

*Xcalibur raced up the stadium as it was picking up some major speed! Chiyoh smirked and her aura began to glow again*

Chiyoh: Whatever you try, it's not going to work on us.

Xhaka: Xcalibur!!

*Xcalibur slams into the wall and the lock advanced to the middle right to the BU Lock and the blade and Xanthus Disk aligned as the sword from the Xcalibur core extended*

Xhaka: Do it now! Ultimate Impact!!

*Xcalibur charges for Cassiel and slams into it with a brutal strike! The sword tip makes contact with one of Cassiels spikes and the recoil knocks it out of the stadium*

Chiyoh: Tch..!!

Referee: Xiphoid Xcalibur with an Over Finish! Xhaka earns 1 point!!

Xhaka: How's that?

Chiyoh: I've seen better..

*Chiyoh reached down and picked up her bey and noticed that Xcalibur had did so much damage that Cassiel was only moments away from a burst! Chiyoh closed her hand around her bey tightly in furious anger*

Bell: Xhaka actually managed to get a point off of her!

Ranzo: Xhaka has really gotten so much stronger!

Valt: It's still pretty early, i have a feeling Chiyoh may have let Xhaka take that point..

Bell: Really?

Valt: She's going to go for a Burst no matter the cost but first, she wants to play around with her opponent before she does.

Ranzo: I didn't think Chiyoh would be the kind of blader to do that..

Valt: Well, i think its fair to say you were all wrong about her.. I'm starting to wonder if Chiyoh was like this the whole time, and she was just really good at hiding it until now.

*Bell was surprised at what he had heard, did this mean that everything Chiyoh had said to him as a boost of confidence, was it all just a lie? Was Chiyoh really deceiving him from the moment they met?*

Xhaka: So it wasn't a Burst huh? In that case, i'll just push even harder in the next battle, that bey can't hold its defenses forever now can it?

Chiyoh: You should never underestimate the power of the Bey of The Queen Of Light, i'm afraid this next battle will be your last!

*Xhaka grinned fiercely as his crimson aura began to glow brightly, he wasn't going to let Chiyoh, a blader half his size talk down to him*

Xhaka: And i'm afraid you're going to be very disappointed in the result of this battle..!

Referee: 2nd Battle!!!

*The bladers took their positions and the 2nd Battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off once again and Cassiel had taken the center once again and its defenses were up and Xcalibur was coming in for the attack*

Xhaka: You think those defenses will save you? Tear it apart Xcalibur!!

*Xcalibur clashes with Cassiel with full force and tries to force it back but the Metal Bearing Drift driver kept it stable and Cassiel resisted the attack*

Chiyoh: Cassiel! Knock it away!!

*Xcalibur was knocked back and its lock advanced past the 1st click*

Xhaka: Go forth Xcalibur! Cut it to pieces with Xiphoid Impact!!

*Xcalibur lands another vicious attack on Cassiel and it was knocked back in retaliation but it wasn't over just yet! Cassiel had retaken the center and it hadn't lost any of its spin*

Chiyoh: You're not going to win just by attacking me! Cassiel's defenses reign supreme, nothing will get through it!!

Xhaka: Oh if only that were true!!

*Xcaliburs attacks wouldn't let up and this time around, Cassiel was actually taking some serious damage from the attacks*

Chiyoh: Cassiel!!

Xhaka: Do it now! Xcalibur!!

*Xcalibur slams into the wall once again as the Xanthus Disk aligned with the Xiphoid Blade and the metal sword from the Xcalibur core extended outward, initiating the Single Strike Mode*

Xhaka: Go! Rampage even more!!

Chiyoh: Do it now! Cassiel!!

*Xcalibur was racing around the stadium at full speed and Cassiel was alone in the center of the stadium, waiting for its prey to come for it*

Xhaka: The time is now Xcalibur! Burst it with Ultimate Impact!!

*Xcalibur came charging in towards Cassiel at full speed as its sword tip was followed by a streak of golden energy*

Chiyoh: It's over for you! Royal Shield now!!

*Cassiels barrier of purple energy surrounded it and Xcalibur clashed into the iron solid defense with full force as the stadium exploded with a burst of powerful energy! Xcalibur and Cassiel were locked in a powerful clash but Xcalibur was knocked back as most of its stamina had been drained out*

Xhaka: W-What the..!? Xcalibur, keep on going!!

Chiyoh: Burst.

*Just before Xcalibur could come to complete stop in a Spin Finish, it burst right before it could have a chance to fall over*

Xhaka: No way..

Referee: Royal Cassiel with a Burst Finish! Chiyoh Rei wins with a final score of 2-1!!

*Bell and the others were shocked at how easily Chiyoh had just defeated Xhaka and his Xiphoid Xcalibur*

Bell: No way.. Xhaka really just got beat like that..

Valt: I figured as much, Chiyoh was toying with him even to the end. Instead of bursting it with one of its attacks, she defended herself against Ultimate Impact and the damage Xcalibur took was what caused it to burst..

Ranzo: What a monster.. why is she doing this?!

Valt: I don't know but someone just has to stop her, or the old Chiyoh has no hope of ever coming back..

-----Later-----

*It was finally time for Rashad's match who was up against Gigi Ishikawa and his Arrow Griffin, a balance type bey just like his Raphael. Rashad still planned on taking Raphael to a new level but first, he had to make it through this battle whether he won or lost. The bladers made it to the arena and stepped up to the stadium*

Rashad: Gigi Ishikawa, i'm curious to see what you're capable of doing this time around.

Gigi: Same goes here Rashad, i've got high hopes for this battle, surely you won't disappoint.

Rashad: I would hope not, you going to do your little prediction thing or what?

*Gigi smiled and chuckled at Rashad making fun of him*

Gigi: Don't toy with me Rashad, of course i will. I predict Raphael will be so weak that it will lose to a Burst in the first battle.

Rashad: I think not..

*Rashad changed his High Xtend+' Driver into Defense Mode, he was going on the defensive for this battle*

Gigi: Defense Mode huh? Interesting..

Referee: 1st Battle!!!

*The 2 bladers took their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Greatest Raphael had immediately taken the center as Arrow Griffin charged around the stadium at full speed*

Rashad: Hold down the center Raphael!!

Gigi: Knock them away now!!

*Griffin clashes with Raphael with full force and sparks started to fly as neither one was giving an inch*

Rashad: Hold the line Raphael! Defend with everything you've got!!

Gigi: Griffin! Slice it apart!!

*The 2 beys were knocked back and Raphael was starting to transform*

Rashad: Greatest Lord!!

*The armors moved into perfect alignment as it returned to the center and Griffin was continuing its assault*

Gigi: Griffin! Feather Dance now!!

*Griffin was launching a massive but surprisingly graceful barrage of attacks on Raphael and it was doing some major damage*

Rashad: Those attacks, it's incredible..!

Gigi: Swallow it all! Griffin!!!

*Griffin lands another vicious blow on Raphael as it tilts on its High Xtend+' driver and speeds away from it*

Gigi: W-What?!

Rashad: This ends now! Raphael!!!

*Raphael was picking up some insane speed as its golden aura began to glow brightly*

Rashad: Show it no mercy with Greatest Breaker! Go!!!

Gigi: End this with Storm Of Arrows!!!

*The 2 beys clashed with all their might and were immediately thrown back from the recoil of the impact, Raphael was the first to burst and Griffin burst a second later! Rashad gasped in shock and Gigi just smiled sinisterly*

Referee: Arrow Griffin with a Burst Finish! Gigi Ishikawa is the winner!!

*Rashad fell to his knees and he picked up the pieces of his Raphael and smiled softly*

Rashad: We may have lost this time but i know now that we're going to get even stronger, i just know it..

*Rashad finally got to his feet, this may have been the end for him in the Beyblade Ultimate World Series but it wasn't the end of his journey, not yet, he would ascend to heights like never before*

---Later---

*Valt had met up with Kensuke for the first time in a while and they discussed plans for battling against Lui who was Ken's first round opponent*

Kensuke (Through Besu): So what do you propose i do against Lui's Guilty Longinus? It has a lot of attack power ya know.

Valt: I was thinking going on the defensive as per usual but if things get tricky, you can always give a good counter attack using those chains of yours.

Kensuke (Through Keru): Really? I guess that could work.

Valt: But then again, you'll be at the mercy of Longinus's attack power.. I unfortunately cannot guarantee this plan will actually work if at all.

Kensuke: It's a plan nonetheless and to me, that's enough.

Valt: The first 2nd Round Battle for Block B is already confirmed and that's Chiyoh and Gigi fighting it out, if you win against Lui then you'll have either Shu or Drum to beat. And if you manage to make it through all of that then you could see a battle in the Semi-Finals against either Chiyoh or Gigi.

*Kensuke looked down at his Chain Kerbeus, he knew he wasn't going to be able to beat Lui but he knew that he couldn't just give up so easily, he also knew the plan Valt came up with wasn't going to work so he had to come up with his own plan*
