*The next day had arrived and Ranzo Kiyama was as fired up as ever as he got his gear ready, he already went over a plan with Bell*

Ranzo: Ragnaruk.. we should stick to the plan me and Amigo came up with..

*Ranzo's plan was to take the center of the stadium and use Double Wing Cyclone as usual but if things got tough then Ranzo would have Ragnaruk tough it out with the Never Drivers incredible Knock Out Resistance*

Ranzo: What plan i have is simple but it'll work, let's do this Ragnaruk!

---Meanwhile---

*Gigi was alone in a training room as he kept up his intense training, he thought about his first opponent which was Ranzo Kiyama*

Gigi: Ranzo Kiyama.. He's a relative of Rantaro and Ranjiro Kiyama and he uses a Ragnaruk Bey just like they do. He's also a friend of the Demon King Bell Daikokuten which makes him all the more interesting, surely someone that close to the Demon King is powerful, i'll see soon enough.

*Gigi held his Arrow Griffin in his hand as it began to glow with a Green and Black aura and his red eyes began to glow with a fiery burning flame*

Gigi: Cyclone Ragnaruk.. it uses a Giga Disk and a Never Driver with a 6 Armor. It utilizes its Stamina Wings to create a vortex of wind to reduce Stamina loss and even pull the bey into the anomaly. I shouldn't underestimate a bey with such a high level of stamina, i'll judge when the battle begins.

---Later---

*The battle between Ranzo and Gigi had finally begun as the 2 bladers made their way to the Arena and the 2 bladers stepped up to stadium as loud cheers echoed throughout the crowd*

Ranzo: Gigi Ishikawa, based on what i've seen from him, he's got a lot of power behind him. His Storm Of Arrows move is something i have to watch out for, Dive Of A Hundred Arrows too..

Gigi: Like i thought before, Ranzo is close to the Demon King. He's has to be somewhat strong at least, but i guess we'll see after all.

Ranzo: Hey! I saw your battle with Kensuke and Rashad, you seem to be very powerful!

Gigi: To be honest, i'm expecting big things from you in this battle, i want to see if Cyclone Ragnaruk really is what you make it out to be.

*Gigi's eyes began to glow as he held up his Arrow Griffin in Low Mode as Ranzo held up his Cyclone Ragnaruk in Low Mode too*

Ranzo: You better hold on to your hat in that case because my Ragnaruk will send you flying!

*Bell watched from the crowd as he had his eyes on Ranzo*

Bell: Stick to the plan Ranzo, just like we planned..

Referee: 1st Battle!!

*The bladers took their position and the battle between the 2 bladers began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Ragnaruk had instantly taken the center as Arrow Griffin charged around the stadium at full speed*

Ranzo: That's the stuff Ragnaruk! Full force!!

*Griffin raced up the stadium and came charging in for the blow! Griffin clashes with Ragnaruk but its Never Driver kept it from getting knocked back*

Gigi: Bare your fangs Griffin!!

Ranzo: It's time! Double Wing Cyclone!!

*Ragnaruk's wings burst into flames and its vortex of fiery winds burst forth as Griffin was knocked back*

Gigi: You won't be spared! Get in there Griffin!!

Ranzo: I don't think so!

*Griffin kept its attack going but it couldn't get close enough to Ragnaruk to land a hit*

Bell: All according to plan!

*Bell smiled proudly as his plan for Ranzo to beat Gigi seemed to be working*

---

*Gigi just stared into the stadium with a blank expression and then he looked up at Ranzo who was smiling with confidence*

Ranzo: How do you like this? This is the ultimate Ragnaruk style!

Gigi: Is that so.. well i haven't shown you everything yet..!

*Griffin stopped its attack and began to circle around the stadium once again as Ragnaruk stayed in the center with its vortex still going*

Ranzo: W-What?!

Gigi: Heh..

*Bell was a bit surprised, why did Gigi stop attacking?*

Bell: What's he up to? Why did he stop attacking?

---

*Ragnaruk was losing spin slowly but still had enough to probably make this a battle of stamina in its favor but Griffin wasn't losing stamina at all, it still had around the same amount of stamina as before*

Ranzo: What's going on? Why isn't Griffin losing speed?

*The cyclone began to falter and Ragnaruk was defenseless!*

Gigi: It's time! Go Griffin!!

*Griffin comes charging in and lands a fierce strike on Ragnaruk and started to pummel it with an all out barrage, it's attacks were devastating but not strong enough to burst Ragnaruk so easily, it was like Griffin was toying with it*

Ranzo: Keep it going Ragnaruk! Keep on fighting!!

*Ragnaruk managed to counter but all its attempts were met with counters from Griffin, the counters were forcing the 2 beys into a back and forth clash*

Ranzo: Send it flying!!

*Ragnaruk landed another strike and was able to send Griffin flying back*

Ranzo: Yes!! W-Wait what?!

*Griffin had survived the blow and it still wasn't losing speed either as it circled the stadium at full speed*

Gigi: What's wrong... Amigo..?

*Bell was starting to get impatient and wanted Ranzo to end the battle already*

Bell: Ranzo! Stop dragging this out, Gigi is toying with you! You gotta end this battle now before he strikes!!

---

*Ranzo was too concentrated to hear Bell, but he was right! Gigi was just toying with Ranzo to the point that Gigi wouldn't let Ragnaruk burst just yet*

Ranzo: Endure it all! Ragnaruk!!

*Gigi smiled as his red eyes glowed and his green aura burst to life*

Gigi: It all ends now! Griffin!!

*Ragnaruk countered Griffins next blow and it went flying high into the air as it flipped several times on the way up*

Gigi: Pull them apart with Dive Of A Hundred Arrows!!

*Griffin started to fall back down as a green flame trailed behind it and it fell towards Ragnaruk! It landed on top of Ragnaruks core and burst it right then, leaving Ranzo shocked*

Ranzo: W-What?!

Referee: Arrow Griffin with a Burst Finish! Gigi Ishikawa wins with a score of 2-0!!

*The crowd burst into cheers as Gigi picked up his bey and started to leave, leaving Ranzo in his despair as he was left to pick up the pieces of his bey*

Ranzo: R-Ragnaruk.. we lost..

---Later---

*Ranzo wasn't happy at the fact he lost, he already talked with Bell about the loss and he vowed to get even stronger than before*

Ranzo: Ragnaruk.. we may have lost today, we'll get stronger and we'll get back at that guy! I'm not gonna let a little loss get the best of us.

*Ranzo's Ragnaruk began to glow and Ranzo was blinded by an orange glow! When his eyesight recovered, he was in a fiery void and in front of him was his Bey's Avatar, Ragnaruk!*

Ranzo: Y-You're Ragnaruk..!!

*Ragnaruk stared down at the blader who commanded him and tilted his head*

Ragnaruk: You did well today, we may have lost but you're correct, we'll get even stronger than ever before.

Ranzo: Ragnaruk.. i don't understand, what is all this?

Ragnaruk: This is known as a bond Ranzo, it's the connection between me and you. It is how we are able to commune like this.

Ranzo: A bond?

Ragnaruk: You felt this connection all along but was never able to truly bring it out.

Ranzo: My amigos Valt, Bell and even Rashad all share this kind of connection with their beys, i never understood it.

Ragnaruk: Your friends have helped you forge this bond with me Ranzo, you should be thankful for them.

Ranzo: I am but there are times where i feel like i can't keep up with them.  I mean look at Bell, he's getting even stronger everyday and so is Rashad and Valt is already super powerful as is!

Ragnaruk: You shouldn't compare yourself to others, don't stress yourself out because you fail. Failure is apart of the journey, while it may not be a fun obstacle, overcoming the failure is what is worth it and that's how you get stronger. The bladers you mentioned have all been through that.

Ranzo: I guess you have a point..

Ragnaruk: Ranzo, i enjoy battling alongside you. I couldn't ask to battle alongside anyone else.

Ranzo: I enjoy battling with you too, it's always a thrill when i step on the public stage and battle opponents like Gigi! It's so fun!

*The Avatar World disappeared and Ranzo couldn't help but smile, he now had the drive to get even stronger and stronger than ever before*

---Meanwhile---

*Chiyoh stood alone in a training room as she stared at a screen which had the data on Arrow Griffin that was currently available*

Chiyoh: Arrow Griffin has metal weighting within the blade, that was how it was able to stay spinning and that explains how its able to have a rock solid defense and sharp attack power..

*Chiyoh also started to analyze some stuff on Divine Belial as she had a rematch coming up with him in the High Stage Closing Ceremony*

Chiyoh: I know everything there is to know about Griffin but let's take a look at you now shall we? Divine Belial..

*The design of Belial appeared onscreen and Chiyoh's eyes burned with rage at its design, everything about it reminded her how much she now hated the Demon King*

Chiyoh: Metal parts within the wings and a driver that helps it speed up.. not to mention the 2 Evolution Gears already equipped.

*Chiyoh pulled apart the Gears away from the data and analyzed them separately, she even included L-Gear and V-Gear into the bunch as she had a feeling Bell would bring those gears eventually*

Chiyoh: L-Gear keeps Belial in High Mode but also increases attack power as well, A-Gear can switch between Attack and Defense Mode with the Divine Blade, D-Gear can deal a counterattack from below and V-Gear increases stamina and mobility.. One thing all these gears have in common is that they all help Belial's attack power go even higher, to dangerous levels even. I don't even know if Perseus could survive an attack from a powered up Belial such as this..

*Chiyoh exited out everything as her match was about to start, she left the room and headed up to her battle*

*The crowds cheered as Gigi and Chiyoh scaled the lifts carrying them to the arena and looks of determination were all over their faces! The bladers reached the arena and walked up to the stadium*

Gigi: Chiyoh Rei, i've heard you are pretty strong. Let's see how well you do against me and my Arrow Griffin!

Chiyoh: I already know everything there is to know about Griffin, your winning streak comes to an end today!

Gigi: Is that so? In that case, my prediction is that Savior Perseus will be defeated with a Burst Finish!

Chiyoh: Ya know, i don't buy into the "Seeing into the future" facade. Not really my thing, your prediction means nothing to me.

Gigi: You can't deny fate, you will lose to me even if it isn't by a burst.

Referee: 1st Battle!!!

*The bladers took their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Griffin had taken the center as it was going on the defensive, Savior Perseus was racing around the stadium at full speed*

Gigi: Now bring it on! Show us what you're made of girl!!

Chiyoh: Now go!!

*Perseus slams into Griffin with all its might but the attack didn't do a thing as it was sent flying back*

Gigi: Not even a scratch! Try again!!

*Chiyoh yelled out as her aura of darkness burst forth once again and Perseus was glowing a dark aura! Gigi was taken by surprise at the sudden burst of power from Chiyoh and he smiled sinisterly*

Gigi: Interesting.. maybe you'll be somewhat entertaining after all!!

Dark Chiyoh: Don't you dare toy with me!!

*Perseus flailed at Griffin with an all out assault using its 3 blades and Griffin was actually taking some damage*

Gigi: Give us more! Entertain me even more!!!

*Perseus landed a fierce barrage of attacks on Griffin but it was just taking all the blows like it was nothing*

Dark Chiyoh: Disappear into the abyss!!!

*Perseus slams into Griffin once more and it went flying back and Perseus was racing in for a follow up! Perseus lands another attack and Griffin was knocked back to the center*

Gigi: Storm Of Arrows!!

*Griffins blade glowed with a green burst of light and knocks back Perseus once again but it wasn't enough to keep it down as it charged back in*

Dark Chiyoh: Disappear! Disappear into nothing!!

*Perseus and Griffin clashed with all their might as the stadium exploded with a powerful burst of energy and they were both knocked back from the recoil! Griffin was now on the offensive as it rushed ahead and it approached Perseus with full speed*

Gigi: End it now! Storm Of Arrows!!

Dark Chiyoh: True Savior Slash!!

*Perseus sped ahead and came back around towards Griffin for a head-on clash! The 2 beys clashed with all their might and the stadium exploded with a powerful burst of energy! In the midst of an intense all-out lock, Perseus glitched for a split moment and the 2 beys went flying back and were going out of bounds!*

Gigi: Tch..!

Dark Chiyoh: Tch.. come on..!!

*Perseus was the first to burst and Griffin burst a moment later, leaving Chiyoh shocked at the result of the battle*

Chiyoh: I-Impossible..

Gigi: Just like i predicted..

Referee: Arrow Griffin with a Burst Finish! Gigi is the winner with a score of 2-0!!

*Chiyoh was incredibly frustrated at her loss as she scooped up the pieces of her bey and stormed off the stage, completely humiliated*

*Bell was watching the battle the whole time and he was a bit amused but not impressed with the fact that Chiyoh lost in such a pathetic manner*

Bell: Is that the best you got Chiyoh..? And here i was excited to battle you again soon..

---Later that day---

*Valt Aoi and Shu Kurenai were hard at work trying to draw out more and more of Valkyries power, Valt was still convinced that Valkyrie had much more potential hidden within than simply awakening the driver.*

Valt: Now go! Ultimate Valkyrie!!

*Valkyrie raced around the stadium at full speed as its awakened Variable' Driver gave it the speed boost it needed! Astral Spriggan was racing around the stadium in Right Spin Attack Mode*

Shu: Spriggan! Chase it down!!

*At that moment, Valkyrie started to shine with a partial golden light! It wasn't a perfect golden color but Valkyrie was starting to shine*

Shu: W-what is that?!

Valt: Ultimate Slash: V!!

*Valkyrie clashes with Spriggan and burst it in an instant as the pieces flew out of the stadium, Shu was shocked at what he was seeing, Valkyrie was sparkling gold! Valt was in disbelief when he finally realized*

Valt: That's so cool! Valkyrie's getting even stronger!!

Shu: I feel like this is only the beginning, the light that Valkyrie is now emitting has more room to improve, when fully mastered, Valkyrie will likely shine brighter than any bey thats ever shined before!

Valt: Yes! And i can't wait, i'm excited for what is to come for me and Valkyrie!

*Valt smiled as Ultimate Valkyrie continued to shine with its golden stream of sparkles*
