*It was a day later and the next announcement for the High Stage Section 2 was about to begin and Announcer Hanami was now on stage*

Hanami: Ok beyfans! It's time for the 2nd and last section of the High Stage, Bell is now our High Stage Champion upon his victory over Aiga Akaba and we've selected a new blader that has risen though the ranks to take on the challenging bladers here at the High Stage!!

*The blader appeared next to Hanami and it was Gigi Ishikawa*

Hanami: Please give a warm welcome to The Winged Beast! Gigi Ishikawa!!

*The crowd cheered loudly as Gigi gave a small smile, Bell was in the audience seething at the new blader. He didn't forget how easily that guy had defeated him the day before*

Bell: That guy.. i'll crush him for sure the next time we battle!

*Gigi held up his bey Arrow Griffin and his voice boomed throughout the arena*

Gigi: It won't matter who i face, any and all bladers who face Arrow Griffin will never see the light of day again!!

Hanami: And there you have it folks! Gigi has declared invincibility upon all the bladers of the High Stage and the world as we know it!

*Gigi just smiled as he held his bey in his hand, the bey glowing a green and black aura*

Hanami: The 4 bladers who will take on Gigi and his Arrow Griffin are the following: Rashad Goodman, Chiyoh Rei, Kensuke Midorikawa and Ranzo Kiyama!!

Rashad: This ought to be interesting..

*Chiyoh just stood silently*

Kensuke: Gigi Ishikawa.. i wonder what he can do. His Arrow Griffin is said to be no laughing matter..

Ranzo: This guy seems to be mighty strong.. his Bey is a Balance Type after all so there has to be more to it than meets the eye..

*Bell was absolutely not having it as he wasn't chosen for the battles*

Bell: Oh come on! That's not fair! I wanna battle too, let me at him!!

---

*The 4 bladers appeared on the overhead screen and the 4 bladers appeared behind Hanami and at that moment, Gigi turned towards the 4 bladers and he pointed his finger at his first supposed victim: Kensuke*

Gigi: The hound will be the first devoured by Griffin!

Hanami: You heard it here folks! Gigi has chosen Kensuke and his Chain Kerbeus as his opponent!!

---A minute later---

*Gigi and Kensuke got set up at the stadium and the 1st Battle was about to begin and Gigi held up his Arrow Griffin which was surprising set into High Mode*

Gigi: Your Chain Kerbeus will be burst in just 1 battle! That is my prediction.

Kensuke: Prediction?

*Rashad remembered Gigi could predict moments ahead into the future, this wasn't looking good for Kensuke already*

Rashad: If he says Kerbeus will be burst in just 1 battle then that's precisely what he means! He's looking to end this quickly! The fact he's going with High Mode too proves he's being serious!

---

Referee: 1st Battle!!

Kensuke (Through Keru): It doesn't matter what your silly little predictions are, my Chain Kerbeus's defenses are absolutely surpreme!

*Gigi just smirked as the two bladers took their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Chain Kerbeus had taken the center immediately with its purple chains extended as Arrow Griffin was racing around the stadium at full speed, it was going on the offensive*

Kensuke: Now put up your shields! Chain Guard!!

*Kerbeus's wall of energy glowed to life as it was protected from any and all attacks that could be thrown at it*

Gigi: Go for it now! Arrow Griffin!!

*Griffin in High Mode came charging in and landed a brutal attack on Kerbeus and its defenses were immediately broken*

Kensuke: WHAT?!!

*Rashad was shocked at how easily Gigi was able to overcome Kensuke's defenses, his eyes widened as fear struck his heart instantly*

Rashad: He broke Kerbeus's defenses like it was nothing!! If he does that to Raphael then we're finished for sure!

---

*Kerbeus was still in the game as it took the center once again but it was starting to take a huge pummeling from Griffin which was now dealing a fierce barrage of attacks on it*

Kensuke: Kerbeus! Rise up!!

Kensuke: Chain Counter!!

*Kerbeus's chains countered Griffins next attack and it was sent flying*

Gigi: Not bad but i've seen better! Time to end this!!

*Griffin started to speed up as its aura glowed to life*

*Bell recognized the move instantly, it was the same move that beat him*

Bell: He's gonna use that move again..

---

*Griffin was not losing speed but neither was Kerbeus as its green aura was glowing as bright as it could*

Kensuke: Here it comes Kerbeus! Get ready!!

Gigi: Slice it apart with Storm Of Arrows!!

*Griffin clashes with Kerbeus and burst it right on the spot with no hesitation, Kensuke was absolutely shocked at what just happened*

Kensuke: W-What the-?!

*Everyone in the arena was shocked as well at how easily Kensuke was beat by a newcomer, Kensuke fell to his knees in despair as Gigi just smiled*

Gigi: How weak.. you're far too weak for me!

Referee: A-Arrow Griffin with a Burst Finish! Gigi Ishikawa is the winner!!

---Later---

*Bell was alone in a training room as he thought about the current two battles that Gigi had taken part in, against him and against Kensuke and Kerbeus.*

Bell: Kerbeus has a rubber lock and yet, Griffin was able to beat him like it was nothing.. his bey has so much weight and power that it's actually insane.

*Bell's thoughts were interrupted as Rashad had entered the room and he was in need of advice*

Rashad: As much as i don't want to do this, i need your advice. Seeing the battle earlier made me realize that i can't beat Griffin without a plan.

*Bell smiled cheekily as he got right in Rashads face*

Bell: So the Supreme King has come to his knees and begged for help after all.

Rashad: I'm not begging for help! Quite frankly you're lucky i'm even asking you because i know you had a battle against that guy, you know something don't you!?

Bell: I do know his bey has a ton of weight and that causes it's defense and attack power to go sky high just like his ego!

Rashad: Well you're not wrong in that regard but seriously, how the heck do i beat Arrow Griffin?!

Bell: I just told you some key details about his bey, that should be enough.

*Rashad sighed and turned and walked away*

Rashad: Why did i even bother asking..

*Rashad walked through the hallway as he began to think up his own plan, without the Demon King*

Rashad: If Griffin has a ton of weight and has the ability to break through defenses like their nothing then we're in trouble Raphael, we may have to go on the attack this time. But still, even if we go on the attack, we're gonna lose stamina faster and faster than normal but i guess whatever it takes at this point.

*Rashad walked into the training room and he walked up to a stadium as he held his Raphael in his hand*

Rashad: Raphael.. we won't show any mercy against this guy, we'll win with all we got!

---Later---

*The next battle with Gigi Ishikawa was now underway and Gigi was already at the stadium waiting for his opponent, Rashad finally reached the arena as cheers echoed throughout the arena*

Rashad: Arrow Griffin, whatever it's capable of, i'll send that attack right back at him!

*Rashad reached the top of the arena and walked up to the stadium as Gigi waited for him, the new blader smiled sinisterly as his aura faintly glowed*

Gigi: Rashad Goodman.. it'll be interesting to see how your Greatest Raphael handles my Griffins power!

Rashad: I already know what your bey is capable of, you won't beat me so easily!

*Gigi held up his Arrow Griffin which was now in Low Mode*

*Bell was watching the battle from the audience and his eyes were on Griffin*

Bell: Low Mode huh? What's he planning?

*Rashad changed his High Xtend+' Driver into Attack Mode as he stared at his opponent in the eye, his eyes burning with a scorching hot flame*

Rashad: It won't matter what you've got planned in this battle, Raphael, the bey of the Supreme King will prevail against any obstacle!

Gigi: I guess we'll see soon enough..

Referee: 1st Battle!!!

*The bladers take their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Greatest Raphael was accelerating around the stadium at full speed as it came charging in for Griffin which was making a beeline for the center*

Gigi: Go Griffin!!

Rashad: I don't think so!!

*Raphael blocked Griffin from heading to the center and knocked it back with a fierce attack but it was no use as Griffin scraped on its Wave' driver and recovered*

Gigi: You won't keep me from the center forever, just try and stop me!!

Rashad: Go! Get back in there!!

*Raphael comes back in for the next attack and it was laying into Griffin with a fierce assault of attacks*

Gigi: Griffin! Tear them apart!!

Rashad: Stop them now with Greatest Dagger!!

*Raphael pierces the wings of Griffin with one of its spikes and sends it flying back once again*

Rashad: How's that? This is what we can really do!!

Gigi: Griffin!!

*Griffin was starting to lose momentum as its power was slowly decreasing and Raphael was coming in hot!*

Gigi: T-Tch..!!

Rashad: End this now!!

*Raphael lands the finishing blow and Griffin goes flying out of the stadium with just one strike*

Gigi: T-Tch..!!

Referee: Greatest Raphael with an Over Finish! Rashad Goodman earns 1 point!!

*The crowds burst out in cheers as Rashad raised his fist into the air with triumph, his inner Supreme King came out once again but thankfully, he wasn't as arrogant as before*

Rashad: How'd you like that?!

*Chiyoh was watching from the audience and her Savior Perseus started to glow softly*

Chiyoh: Arrow Griffin was done in by an attack like that? Perhaps i don't have a challenge ahead of me after all.

---

*Gigi reached down and picked up his bey and turned back towards Rashad*

Gigi: I'll have to admit, that was an interesting display of power you showed off.

Rashad: The battle only lasted no more than a minute! I hope that isn't all you've got!

Gigi: Oh no, i have way more to show you. I only let you take that first point!

Rashad: I guess that explains it then, you're toying with me then?

Gigi: Maybe. In this next battle, i predict that Raphael will fall in a destructive burst finish!!

*Rashads eyes narrowed as he looked down at his Raphael and changed its High Xtend+' Driver into Defense Mode, things were now getting interesting*

*Bell was watching from afar and he was curious on which blader would win the battle but he also noticed Rashad changing modes*

Bell: Defense Mode huh? I guess Rashad won't be holding anything back this time.

---

Referee: 2nd Battle!!!

*The bladers took their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Raphael had taken the center right off the bat as Griffin was moving around the stadium indicating that it was going on the offensive*

Rashad: Yes! Hold it down Raphael!!

*Griffin came charging in and began to fire off an all out assault on Raphael and tried to push it out of the center with full force*

Gigi: You won't survive!!

*Griffin pushed even harder as its smash blades hammered against Raphaels spiked surface but things didn't last long as Raphael was able to knock it back once again and take the center*

Rashad: It's time!!

*The armors began to move into alignment slowly as the Halo started to appear*

Gigi: As if that will work..

*Griffin kept its onslaught going but nothing was making it through Raphaels defenses, there was nothing Griffin could do*

Gigi: Tch.. Why won't my attacks work..?!

Rashad: This is what our true power can really do! Do it Raphael!!

Rashad: Show them our power with Greatest Lord!!

*The armors fully moved into alignment as the halo was shining bright but that wouldn't deter Griffin so easily as it kept its attacks going*

Rashad: It's completely useless! Anything you throw at us can and will be deflected by the Ultimate Ring Of Light! This is the true power of Greatest Raphael, the Bey of the Supreme King!!

*Gigi just smiled as his eyes held a hint of a sinister green light*

Gigi: Is that so?

*Griffin finally managed to land an attack that hit Raphael where it hurt and the attack was so great and devastating that Raphael was now off balance but still held its stamina well*

Rashad: W-What?!

Bell: He used his smash blades to knock Raphael off balance! Is that what he was trying to do the whole time, just knock Raphael off balance and finish it off?

*Bell was now very intrigued, the more he watched the more excited he got*

---

Gigi: Spread your wings now! Griffin!!!!

*Griffin was picking up speed as it raced around the stadium and it was approaching the wall and fast*

Rashad: What are you doing?!

Gigi: Take to the skies!!

*Griffin slams into the wall and launches itself high into the skies as it was imbued with a green burst of energy*

Rashad: That won't make a difference! Raphael, regain your balance and get ready!!

*Raphael used the wide base of the High Xtend+' Driver to regain its balance and its Armors were aimed up to the skies and right where Griffin was starting to fall*

Rashad: End this now! Pierce it with your Greatest Spear!!

*Griffin was falling back down like a meteor as a green flame trailed behind it*

Gigi: Crush them! Dive Of A Hundred Arrows!!

*Griffin fell from the skies and lands on top of Raphael and the stadium erupts with a massive explosion and the one sent flying was Raphael as it was Burst*

Rashad: W-What the-?!

Gigi: I told you.. ended with a Burst Finish!

Rashad: Dive Of A Hundred Arrows huh? It definitely has some power behind it for sure..

*Rashad watched as Gigi walked off the stage and his mind began to wander, something about everything didn't feel right*

---Later That Day---

*The last 2 battles for Gigi would take place the following day but for now, Chiyoh was alone as she sat on the clifftop nearby overlooking the Grand Arena, her thoughts dwelled on what Bell had said before*

"Perseus is not the bey for you! Maybe you should just throw it away!.."

*Chiyoh's eyes began to burn with rage as she clenched her Savior Perseus tightly within her hand*

Chiyoh: What does he know? He does not know what it's like to truly struggle to get stronger!

*Chiyoh began to recall all the times where Bell had gotten "stronger", her eyes began to glow bright*

Chiyoh: Every time he loses, it's always to the drawing board to create a new Evolution Gear Upgrade! Why not actually get stronger instead of hiding behind some silly gear upgrades that don't even matter? What's your angle Demon King? Are you afraid? Are you afraid of me?

*Chiyoh got to her feet as a new aura began to glow around her, it wasn't the aura that would've glowed when resonating with Perseus but rather.. it was a different aura, an aura that made Chiyoh feel like there was hope, hope that she would find or create the bey that was meant for her*

Chiyoh: Maybe Bell is right, maybe you aren't the bey for me Perseus. Once i defeat Gigi and Bell in the Closing Ceremony, i'll have no choice but to say goodbye to you, a different blader can draw out your power better than i ever could.

*Chiyoh walked back to the Grand Arena and slowly but surely, she felt like a weight was being lifted off of her shoulders, finally some good things were coming her way. She wasn't aware that the New Star Fragment that was approaching Earth was only 3 days away from falling to the planet surface.*
