*It was the next day and Bell was hard at work trying to master the A-Gear but battling the same opponents over and over again wasn't really doing him any favors*

Bell: It's no use.. i could battle these guy all day long but i need a real challenge, someone who can make me bring out the capabilities of my new Upgrade!

*Bell had been battling Ranzo and Basara all day but Bell felt no progress facing off with them so he stormed out to find more interesting opponents.*

Bell: I got to find a blader who can give me a challenge!

*His demands were immediately met as he found a blader he hadn't seen in a while, it was Lui Shirasagijo*

Bell: Hey, i remember you..

*Lui just smiled as he stepped forward to Bell*

Lui: It's been some time since we last battled, and quite frankly i've been looking for you. I've been wanting to have a rematch with you for quite some time now.

Bell: Is that so? Well in that case, i'll give you what you want and i'll crush you just like i did before, especially with this new Divine Belial!!

*Lui was a little surprised, this was the first time he had ever seen Bell's new bey*

Lui: Looks like the rumors were true, Belial has indeed evolved..

Bell: Hope you aren't scared, me and the newly evolved Belial will send your Guilty Longinus into the abyss!!

*Lui burst out laughing as he stared down at the Demon King with a smile*

Lui: Don't be so serious, i've gotten so much more stronger in the time that we've been apart! I will show you what true power is!

*The 2 bladers found a stadium and Lui held up his Guilty Longinus which began to glow with a purple aura as Bell held up his Divine Belial which had its A-Gear in a 6-Bladed Defense Mode*

Bell: We'll start out on the defensive first and see what Longinus is truly capable of..

Lui: Let's not delay Demon King, let's begin!

*The bladers got into position and the battle started right then*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The 2 beys were off and the 2 beys raced around the stadium and right off the bat, Longinus was coming in hot!*

Bell: Endure it Belial!!

Lui: Crush it!!

*Longinus clashes with Belial but the A-Gear managed to help defend against the attack*

Lui: W-What?!

Bell: How'd you like that?!

*Belial came back around and it was coming straight for Longinus*

Lui: Interesting.. so you have a few more tricks up your sleeve. Longinus now!!

*Longinus dodges Belials attack and it circled around the center and began to build up some major speed*

Bell: Go for it! Adventure Shoot!!

*Belial came rushing in but misses and slams into the wall*

Lui: Don't tell me that's all you got right?

Bell: We're fine, we're just getting warmed up!!

*Longinus was picking up speed and it was coming back in for the next blow*

Lui: Shatter them with Guilty Upper, end this!!

*Longinus clashes with Belial and burst it right there, Bell was shocked at how quickly and easily he just got beat*

Bell: Give me another shot! We'll win for sure!

*Battles went on and on for hours but Bell wasn't getting anywhere, Lui ended every single battle with a Burst Finish! Lui was starting to lose his patience.*

Lui: If this is all Divine Belial can bring to the table then i've lost my interest in you, come find me when you've actually got some skill to bring.

*Bell struggled to his feet and Lui could feel a rising darkness building up in the room, he looked at Bell who was smiling*

Lui: What are you smiling for?

Bell: Because in this next and final battle, i will absolutely crush you!

*Bell switched the A-Gear into 3-Bladed Mode and retook his position as Lui smiled and did the same*

Lui: looks like you want to go out with a bang, in that case, bring it on!

*The battle began as their auras burned brightly*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Belial was picking up speed immensely as it raced around the stadium at full speed*

Lui: Tear them into pieces and sink your fangs into them!

*Longinus came charging in but missed as Belial avoided the attack and Longinus hit the wall*

Bell: We're not going to fall for that!

*Belial and Longinus come to the center and clash with all their might and bursts of energy shoot out of the stadium as the clash was so intense*

Bell: Push them hard!

Lui: Don't give in Longinus!!

*The 2 beys were knocked back and they were still in the game*

Bell: I'll break you with everything i've got!

Lui: That's my job! You sit back and behave!!

*Belial and Longinus were engaged in a fierce back and forth clash and neither one was backing down from the challenge! The 2 beys forcefully tried to get an edge over each other*

Lui: More.. Give me even more!!

*Belial knocked Longinus back and Lui's hair began to ignite like a raging fire*

Lui: Rip them apart now! Longinus!!

*Longinus was starting accelerate as it hit the rim of the stadium and it reached incredible speeds*

Lui: End of the line Belial!!

*Bell grinned as an aura of darkness surrounded him and his eyes and teeth turned absolutely menacing. Bursts of energy shot from the first diamonds the side of his head and they took the form of horns*

Demon King Bell: Go for it! Belial!!

Belial: We are the Demon King!!

*Belial and Longinus circled laps around the stadium numerous times and came in for a head on collision*

Lui: I'll end you with Guilty Upper!!

Bell: It's over! Divine Bomber!!

*Belial and Longinus clash with all their might and both beys burst right at the same time! Bell immediately fainted and fell over as the power he sustained was too much for him to handle, he fell over as Lui shielded his face from the explosion. The battle ended in a draw.*

Lui: I'll admit, you've gotten a little better but as proven now, it'll take more than a few new upgrades to take me down. I'm stronger than that now.

*Lui turned and left as he laughed, leaving the unconscious Bell there alone*

---Meanwhile---

*Chiyoh was alone in a training room and she sadly looked down at her Savior Perseus, she had lost to Aiga and now she was starting to feel like no matter how hard she tried, she would never get stronger*

Chiyoh: Perseus.. i failed. I wanted to believe i could get stronger with you by my side but i failed, i won against Bell but lost against Aiga even when i knew all the details about Achilles. What am i missing?

*Chiyoh looked up and saw Valt walk into the room*

Chiyoh: Valt..

Valt: Chiyoh, you look upset. What's going on?

Chiyoh: It's nothing. I'm just disappointed i lost against Aiga even though i knew everything there was to know about him.

Valt: There's something else is there?

Chiyoh: Is there a point anymore? I'm not getting any stronger with Perseus and yet, here i am still losing against bladers i have a decent enough chance against!

Valt: Losing is kind of the nature of Beyblade. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. In the end it doesn't matter as long as you have fun doing one or the other.

Chiyoh: So you think losing is fun?!

Valt: No, losing is never fun. Learning from the mistakes and applying that to the next time you battle, that is the fun in losing and if you still lose then keep on trying until you win. Win or lose, blading is about having fun and it's always been that way.

*Chiyoh looked down at her Perseus and tears began to form in her eyes*

Chiyoh: I don't feel the same spark and joy battling with Perseus like before. Ever since Bell entered my reality, it's never been the same! If i had never met that stupid Demon King then i wouldn't have to feel this way!!

*Valt looked at Chiyoh and sighed*

Valt: Bell can be a handful at times but he means well, he's the one who made Rashad see the fun in blading again.

Chiyoh: Well i'm not Rashad.. and i don't need Bell's help. I'm perfectly fine on my own.

Valt: As for Perseus, i never expected you to use Savior Perseus throughout your entire blading career but i feel like you've grown with it, it actually kind of suits you. After all, you even use attributes from Valkyrie with it so that's kind of cool.

Chiyoh: And that holds me back, YOU are holding me back! The thought of defeating you eats away at my mind every single day, i await the day i can crush Ultimate Valkyrie beneath my foot!

*Valt just looked at Chiyoh with surprised but disappointed expression*

Chiyoh: If you're disappointed in me then leave, i could never make you proud anymore than anybody else. I will crush you one day and when i do, i will become the champion and soon after, i'll reign over the blading world as its Queen! This world may have the Demon King but it will have a Queen and i will fill that role as Bells foil, Bell will always be below me!

*Chiyoh walked away and gave Valt a second glance*

Chiyoh: ..And you and Ultimate Valkyrie won't be apart of it when that time comes.

---Later---

*Bell had finally woke up and he awoke to Aiga standing over him*

Bell: Aiga?! What are you doing here?

Aiga: I heard about your battle with Lui a while ago, looks like i missed it! Lui is a powerful opponent for sure, the fact you were fast asleep tells me that both of you guys put up a great fight.

*Bell got to his feet*

Bell: What would you know?

Aiga: Lui is a powerful blader, i've battled him a few times and it took all i had to actually beat him. Lui is also a difficult blader to deal with at times but he does mean well.

*Aiga looked down at Divine Belial and took a look at it*

Aiga: What's this? Did Belial add features from Achilles into it?

*Bell smiled proudly as Aiga continued to examine the newly evolved Belial*

Bell: Say hello to the new A-Gear! With it, it will be able to change between Attack and Defense Mode!

Aiga: Attack And Defense Mode huh? Sounds interesting..

*Aiga smiled and turned and walked away*

Aiga: Meet me at the stadium tomorrow, i'll take you on one last time.

*Bells eyes lit up and he smiled*

Bell: Yes! Tomorrow, you'll face my true power, just you wait!!

*Aiga shot Bell a second glance as he kept on walking, he couldn't help but smile in full respect for the Demon King!*

Aiga: I gotta hand it to him. He's a creative, interesting blader for sure, let's see what that new A-Gear of his can do tomorrow.

---Later---

*Chiyoh oversaw the Grand Arena from a nearby cliff and she held her Savior Perseus in her hand, she looked out over the vast canyon and the massive arena down below and thoughts of her recent battles entered her mind*

Chiyoh: When i got you, i was told to be mindful of my limits, to not push you too hard but now, i understand that Valts words mean nothing. Limits are made to be broken, that is necessary in order for victory. Nobody here truly knows the weight of victory and defeat, after what i've been through, nobody knows that better than me!

*Images of Bell, Rashad, Valt and everyone else filled her mind and Chiyoh's rage began to boil over! The bladers she once thought were her inspirations had now become her enemy*

Chiyoh: If my destiny is to conquer all in my way then so be it, eventually i will make a bey that will crush all in its path..

*Chiyoh pulled a blueprint from her jacket and on it was a design for a new Bey. The bey had a very round shape with 6 spikes protruding from the blade, 3 on both sides with a gimmick that was yet unknown to the world*

Chiyoh: When the time is right, this bey will be the Ultimate Defense Type Bey in the entire world!

*Chiyoh began to smile sinisterly as her eyes gave off a fiery burst of purple energy, her grand plan was finally in motion. Little did everyone know, another Star Fragment was approaching Earth and this one.. this one held a bey that was rather similar to the bey that was on Chiyoh's blueprint. The comet was set to hit the planet in a matter of days but it was approaching fast and it had an aura of corrupted darkness surrounding it...*
