*It was the next day and Bell was training hard in order to master the power of Belial and the Star Fragment within its very soul. Bell was currently training with Rashad in order to really bring out its strength*

Bell: Go Belial!

Rashad: Raphael!!

*Belial and Raphael clashed with all their might and the Perfect Gear Equipped Belial was knocked back with a fierce attack*

Bell: Now bring them down! Divine Bomber!!

Rashad: Not so fast! Greatest Breaker!!

*Belial and Raphael clashed with full force and they were knocked back once again, both of them coming to a complete stop at the same time*

Ranzo: Double Spin Finish! Draw!!

*Bell was still in frustration as he still hadn't mastered the Perfect Gear Evolution of Belial, his loss to Kensukes Chain Kerbeus was also on his mind*

Bell: Chain Kerbeus..

*Bell continued to think about the battle and remembered the High Mode change in Kerbeus's Chain blade, the chains were permanently extended in High Mode whereas they could move freely in Low Mode! Such a change in a bey was only seen in a few other beys apart of the Dynamite Battle System.*

Bell: High and Low Mode changes huh? In that case, Belial shall have one too!

*Rashad and Ranzo just looked at Bell and Rashad just shook his head*

Rashad: You sure that's a good idea? Honestly, i don't even believe the gears will help at all, you should just scrap them and wait for more ideas for new gears like we originally suggested!

Bell: Belial cannot wait any longer! The gears are the only way to guarantee our success!!

Rashad: That might be true against me or anybody else but not against Kensuke! Kerbeus has two modes depending on High or Low Mode, its defensive power is unreal and you know that!

*Bell looked down frustrated, he didn't want to admit it but he knew Rashad was right*

Bell: Well Supreme King, what do you propose?!

Rashad: You can start by ditching those gears and wait for ideas for new ones.

*Bell just looked down at Divine Belial and he went to removing the gears off of the Blade, Disk and Driver. Bell wasn't happy about it but he somehow knew this was the only hope he had if he wanted to beat Kerbeus*

Rashad: Kerbeus as we all know is a Defense Type Bey with an unburstable lock, the best way to truly go about defeating it is trying to aim for an Over Finish instead.

Bell: An Over Finish?!

Ranzo: Kerbeus cannot simply be beaten by a burst thanks to its rubber lock, until Belial can evolve enough to burst it, settling with an Over Finish should work!

*Bell pouted as per usual, going for an Over Finish was simply just not enough for him at all. Bursting Kerbeus and proving his dominance was what mattered more to him*

Bell: No. I will do battle against Kerbeus my way! I'll crush Kensuke's dreams right before his eyes and prove my absolute dominance as the Demon King!!

*Bell just started to laugh as Rashad and Ranzo just gave up, neither one of them could say anything to change his mind. Chiyoh stood outside the mansions doorway and peered inside and she watched Bell, her eyes fixated on him.*

Chiyoh: A burst on Kerbeus.. a bey as strong as that? Bell being Bell i suppose, his foolishness and arrogance will be his downfall.

*Chiyohs eyes began to glow and she turned and walked away*

---Later That Day---

*Kensuke was on the top of the Beigoma Academy school and his puppets weren't on him this time, Valt turned the corner and approached him*

Valt: I heard your battle with Bell went well.

Kensuke: He definitely has skill but his arrogance is what drags him down, if it weren't for that then chances are, he could've won.

Valt: That is Bell for you, it wouldn't be him if he wasn't his usual self.

Kensuke: What exactly is your endgame with him?

Valt: What do you mean?

Kensuke: Why do you take such an interest in him?

*Valt looked at Kensuke for a moment and looked down and stared off into the sky*

Valt: Bell has talent unlike any other. I believe that just like the Asahi brothers, he can breath fresh light into the game of Beyblade. The bond he shares with Belial is truly something amazing.

*Kensuke pulled his Chain Kerbeus out of his pocket and he stared down at it for a moment, he remembered the first battle he had with Valt all those years ago in the National District Tournament. In some odd way, Bell reminded Kensuke a lot of Valt.*

Kensuke: In that case, i'll finish what i started and slay the Demon King for good this time.

*Kensuke got up and left the rooftop as Valt watched him with a small smile*

---Meanwhile---

*Bell was alone in the Gates Of Hell's main chamber as he stared down at the Gear-less Belial. He thought for a moment: Maybe Rashad was right, it is time to find new inspirations for a new set of gears to make Belial stronger. Bell kept gears on him just in case but until he could be certain new gears would make the cut, it was better to do without.*

Bell: If no gears is the solution to beating Kerbeus then so be it, it wouldn't matter anyhow! I have the ultimate plan to beat Kerbeus!

*At that moment, Kensuke showed up at the Gates Of Hell still without his puppets*

Bell: So you finally bit the bullet and came back to face me again! You've got guts, that's for sure!

Kensuke: I wouldn't be so arrogant if i were you, that's the reason you lost last time.

Bell: And it'll be what brings you to ruins!

*Bell held up his Divine Belial and it began to glow without the gears and Kensuke just looked at it with no expression*

Kensuke: If you think facing me with no gears is a good idea then you are sorely mistaken, Belial is nothing without them!

*Kensuke held up his Chain Kerbeus too as a Drone flew in and it hovered above the stadium and the battle between the two started*

Drone: First Battle!!!

*The 2 bladers took position and the battle between the two finally began*

Drone: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Chain Kerbeus took center stage starting out in Low Mode as Divine Belial raced around the stadium at full speed, its weight lessened so it was more faster than before*

Kensuke: Bring it on Demon King!!

Bell: Go for it Belial! Adventure Shoot!!

*Belial came charging in and began to fire off a barrage of attacks on Kerbeus but no attack was phasing it at all! Belial kept on attacking as Kerbeus's purple chains were dispersing the attacks*

Bell: Keep on going Belial! Hold nothing back!!

Kensuke: Chain Hellfire!!

*Kerbeus used its spiked upper layer to deal a gnarly counter attack and send Belial flying as its lock advanced to the Burst Lock*

Bell: Your bey isn't the only one who can't burst easily! Get in there Belial!!

*Belial slams into Kerbeus with all its might, Kerbeus's rubber lock was starting to smoke as the disk rubbed against the nubs keeping it back*

Kensuke: Kerbeus! Send it flying!!

*Kerbeus was now sent on the move as it used the ring on the Yard' driver to drift and skid along the stadium slope*

Bell: W-What the..?!

Kensuke: Chain Drift!!

Bell: Tch..!!!

*Bell suddenly heard Belials voice echo in his mind with a booming volume*

Belial: Bell!! Kerbeus is weakened, you can end this now! Show him the true power of the Demon King!!

Bell: Alright!!

*Belial dodged the attack and it hit the rim of the stadium and it began to speed up*

Kensuke: What is that!?!

Bell: Go for it now! Belial!!

Belial: Let's do this..!!

*Belial was picking up even more speed as it let go of the rim and clashes with Kerbeus with all its might and the stadium burst with a gust of powerful winds*

Kensuke: Kerbeus! It's time!!

*Belial and Kerbeus continued to clash with all their might as the stadium burst out with colors of purple and green! The 2 bladers yelled out with full determination as their auras glowed bright!! The beys were knocked back once again and Belial was picking up even more speed*

Kensuke: Chain Crush!!

*Kerbeus climbed the slope of the stadium and came right back towards Belial at full speed*

Bell: Ignite and Explode! Divine Bomber!!

*Belial and Kerbeus clash with full force and the stadium blew up with a massive ball of fire, both beys went flying up into the air and Kerbeus hit the floor first and Belial last, leaving the stadium a smoking, smoldering mess. Bell who was overwhelmed and exhausted from the battle, fell over fast asleep*

Drone: Divine Belial with an Over Finish! Bell Daikokuten earns 1 point!!

*The battle was unable to continue due to the stadiums condition but Kensuke finally understood what Valt was talking about, without another word turned and walked out of the Mansion*

Kensuke: I guess Valt was right about one thing.. he is interesting.

*Kensuke didn't notice Chiyoh stalking him from across the yard, she didn't appear to be too happy.*

Chiyoh: So Bell actually got a point off of him.. in that case, i'll challenge him myself.

*Chiyoh looked into the mansion and saw Bells unconscious body laying at the stadium and she just left, not paying him anymore mind*

Chiyoh: What's even more ridiculous is that Bell didn't even use the gears against Kerbeus when that was his best shot at getting a burst! My Perseus won't hesitate to burst Kerbeus into oblivion! Just what was he thinking..?

*Chiyoh's eyes began to glow as she stepped further and further away from the mansion, her golden aura glowing all around her*

---The Next Day---

*It was high up in the mountains of Japan and another blader was on the rise of making a new BU Layer Series Bey and the blader was Xhakuenji Kaiza, otherwise known as Xhaka. Xhaka pounded a hammer against a metal slab that was rested upon an anvil, sweat dripped down his face as he constructed his new bey: A New Xcalibur*

Xhaka: This bey must be perfect.. i'll put all my blood, sweat and tears into this bey!

*Xhaka was a childhood friend of Legendary Bladers, Valt Aoi and Shu Kurenai. Was once a member of the Spin Emperors and the Big 5 and was a teacher of another Xcalibur user: Xhan Bogard! His bey Xcalibur was a Right Spin Attack Type which was known for having increased attack power when it reached a certain alignment, this Xcalibur that was now being created would be no different.*

Xhaka: You'll be finished soon, Xcalibur.. i promise!

---Meanwhile---

*Bell Daikokuten was back in the Gates Of Hell as per usual when he found out that another Blader had a BU Bey, the blader that Valt was now telling him about was Drum Koryu*

Bell: Drum... Koryu?

Valt: He's an old friend of mine and he may or may not be one of my older students.

Bell: Where is he? Based on what you've told me, he sounds pretty strong!

*Valt sighed and a small smile came across his face*

Valt: He's waiting for you, i've already told him about you. He's waiting for you and he has a special challenge not just for you but for Chiyoh and Rashad as well.

Bell: What about them?

Valt: Drum, much to my surprise, wants to see your guys strength before he makes a decision on who to battle because he wants to battle all of you except he just doesn't know what to choose.

Bell: You have to be kidding me right now!

Valt: Well to be fair, he made that call out of pure excitement, not entirely sure what was going through his mind when he made that decision but sometimes he's difficult to work with and i just go with whatever he says.

*Bell simply pouted as he saw Chiyoh standing in the doorway with a small smirk, she turned and walked away as Bell continued to seethe even more, he began to wonder just how power Drum Koryu truly was...*

First chapter in a few months, there has been a few reasons why there's been a big gap since i last published anything.

1. Been busy with summer stuff, went on a science trip in Key Largo, Florida and made some new friends.

2. Been dealing with Social Isolation and depression for the past 2 months since i last updated.

3. I refuse to write via Phone as i have fat thumbs, terrible phone typer and its just less efficient imo. Mobile version of Wattpad is a bit mid anyway.

Updates will come out whenever i feel like it tbh, i will be getting a Guitar in a week for my birthday and i will be mostly devoting my time to not just finding a teacher but focus more on school as i just started 3 days ago and i'm in my senior year which means this is for all the marbles.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter, the writing is a bit shit as i haven't written ANYTHING for the last 2-3 months, the writing will hopefully progressively get better as more episodes come out.
