Okay, I'm introducing a new thing here, and it's basically a short list and some descriptions, about where you guys would go for dates and stuff.

Butterfly Migration:

This would be your first date! He'd have no idea what to do, at first, and admittedly he'd been getting pretty nervous.

So he went to a spot in the rainforest, where he usually went to clear his head and be alone with his thoughts, so that he could try and come up with an idea. He'd had feelings for you for a while now, and they'd begun to develop almost a year before he actually asked you out. This had to be perfect, he couldn't have anything go wrong. He knew you weren't as shallow as to end things with him over a first date that failed to live up to expectations, but for his peace of mind, he really didn't want to risk it.

Then, the idea came to him. Literally. It landed on his knee.

He had managed to happen upon this secluded clearing not long after joining up with the Snake Pit, back when he had only been Green Eye before his rapid ascension through the ranks until he worked his was to Ashtem's side. It was only a few months later, when he was frustrated about his inability to master the new move he had come up with for Noctis, that he went there to have some time alone and calm down. That's when he saw them, thousands of blue monarch butterflies, all of them clustered on a huge old tree at the clearing's centre, shuffling for space.

A few of them would always come early, and so when one of them landed on his knee, having deemed him safe after seeing him sit so still for so long, Norman got the perfect idea.

A couple of days passed, and with his worries put aside, Norman was found himself growing more and more excited for his first date with you, not that anyone else would have guessed it. He met you in your usual meeting place, not too far from the Snake Pit temple. Far away enough that no one would accidentally stumble upon the two of you, but close enough so that he could get back in a hurry if something important came up or if he was needed.

'Hey,' you smiled as Norman approached, dressed in an attire that was a change from what he usually wore, but much more appropriate for trekking through a rainforest terrain. You too were dressed casually, something he had asked of you the previous night.

When he stood in front of you, he leaned down and gave you a short kiss, one that, while brief, still had the blood rushing to your cheeks.

'Hello,' he murmured, a small smile of his own.

'I missed you,' you admitted, hugging him tentatively, still slightly unsure of the boundaries in your newly blossoming relationship with the sea green haired individual.

'I missed you too,' he replied, making butterflies form in your stomach, and you were pleasantly surprised when he hugged you back. 'Did you want to get going?'

After a short pause, you let go of him and stood back, nodding happily.

You ended up holding hands. Norman led you through the rainforest, guiding you through the his usual route that had become familiar to him along time ago. It took awhile to get there, and you had started to think that maybe your date was just a wall together. Usually, you loved this place, but not when it came to long walks you were rapidly deciding. In order to avoid the slap of vegetation against your bare skin, you had to wear long clothes, baggy ones at that, otherwise insects such as mosquitos would still get to you through tight fitting or thin clothing.

Yes, you felt ridiculously hot, and no, it wasn't the most attractive thing ever to wear on a first date, but it was comfortable and practical, a perfect outfit for the current situation. The major downside however, was how hot you felt. Your clothing did nothing to alleviate the balmy air, the sticky heat and humidity seeping through your pores.

Just as you were about to ask Norman what he was planning, he stopped in his tracks and motioned for you to do the same. Copying his actions, you opened your mouth to interrogate him, but once again he stopped you, this time by holding his finger to his lips and signalling for you to be quiet.

Now incredibly curious, you kept your mouth closed, and when Norman felt sure you wouldn't speak, he started walking once more, his steps calculated and light. This new journey was a much shorter one, and a few minutes later, you both emerged at the edge of a small clearing, one that you had never seen before.

You turned your head to Norman and quirked a brow, wondering what you were doing there. His only response was a quiet smile, and a nod back towards the clearing. You looked back, and this time your attention was drawn to a large, ancient tree that stood proudly in the middle. That's when you first saw them. At first, there were only a few.

Butterflies, and there vibrant blue colouring told you they were monarchs. Soon, more began to appear, fluttering down to land on the tree, followed shortly after by a steady stream of the insects pouring down from the sky.

It took your breath away. You'd never seen so many in the one place before, let alone in such a huge group. You couldn't tear your eyes away.

'Norman,' you had said, your voice barely above a whisper.

A faint click reached your ears, and your eyes darted to your boyfriend who had a polaroid camera out, taking a photograph of your awed expression.

'Do you like it?' He asked you quietly, smiling at you still.

Unable to say much of anything, you had nodded, mouthing a small "thank you," and looking back to the butterflies.

A/N: A pretty memorable first date, huh? A quick heads up before I continue, I'm only probably going to do a long version of one date. The rest of them how, will just be a short description. 🦋🦋🦋🦋

A Picnic For Two:

It was a sweet little idea you had on a day that the weather was slightly cooler. You had Norman meet you in the clearing that you both had come to refer to as 'Our Clearing.' When he got there, he found you in a light airy summer outfit holding out a deep red rose, standing beside a picnic you had prepared earlier in the day for the two of you.

Or...

As sweet and romantic as it was, the date ended with Norman chasing you through the rain forest in a game that was a mixture of tag and hide and seek. Things returned to their romanticism, when later on your first 'I love you's' were exchanged.

Movie Night Marathons:

Between Norman's work as Gold Eye and your work as a BeyTrainer, you don't get to sit down and have movie marathons very often. A single movie or two, sure, but never a marathon, so whenever you get to, you do, and you count it as a date. Binge watching favourite movie series, watching a bunch of new ones you've been meaning to watch, random choices and older classics. You'll get together a stash of your favorite junk foods, and then cuddle up under a mountain of blankets and watch your movies.

Cave Exploring

Okay, so there's this pretty nice stream not to far from the clearing, and you found it totally on accident. You were pretty stressed out on this one day, and it was pretty on into your and Norman's relationship. He was busy as Gold Eye at the time, and you had the idea to head out to the clearing, just to get away from the temple for awhile.

Like I said, this was early on into your relationship, only a few months or so in. You hadn't been to the clearing that much, and each time Norman had been with you, so you weren't entirely certain about how to get there by yourself. You ended up taking a couple of wrong turns, and instead of the clearing, you found yourself beside a small creek.

You decided to follow it, and after almost an hour of walking, you came to the mouth of the creek. The weird thing was, that there wasn't any visible water source, such as a lake, or even a river, which shouldn't have been possible. It was then you realised, that the water source, was trickling out of a cluster of small boulders. Confused, you decided shift a couple and see where it was coming from.

The task was easier than it sounded, the boulders actually being much lighter than they appeared to be, and it only took you a short while to move some of them. Let's just say that you were extremely shocked at what you found. With the stone no longer an obstruction, you saw that the water was actually coming from underground, emerging much more rapidly now without the boulders in the way from a water shaft roughly a metre in both width and height.

You told Norman about this development, and soon after, you and Norman decided to check it out further. Checking it out further, revealed that the shady was in fact part of a tunnel that the two of you decided to crawl through. That then showed you, that the newly found tunnel was apart of of an elaborate underground caving system.

One thing led to another, and you ended up exploring the caves, until pretty soon, that ended up being another regular type of date for the two of you. Sometimes, after checking things over with Ashtem, you'd take time away from the Snake Pit, sometimes even from weeks to even a fortnight at a time. You'd pack up a huge bag each and explore the caves, camping there over night and discovering new types of caverns and tunnels. It's definitely a fun and not to mention a unique sort of date.
