Srusti's POV

"  I am sorry Sahil Ji and Manyata ma'am.  I should not have assumed all that. But please tell him to leave me. I just want to go away from here."

" I can't let you go... Not now, not ever. "

" Why??? You said that you would let me go... "

" I can't... Because I love you."

" What?? "

"  I love you... I was a fool at that time. I didn't know that I would fall for you.  Listen, I agree, I am an idiot. I thought that I planned out everything but every plan of mine failed. Do you know why?? Because God had a better plan for us. He wanted us to be together.  I know, I said that I liked someone else, but it was not Manu. And since you came into my life, I have been thinking only about you. Since that date we went on, something changed. I felt something for you that day and since then I am falling more and more in love with you. I love you... " he said with so much intensity that my heart sank.

It was not true.... he had always lied with so much conviction.

" Please don't say such things. It hurts. " I said.

" It hurts?? Why?? "

" I don't know..."

" No!! Tell me, why does it hurt ??"

" Because you are the biggest liar I have seen till now. You tell lies as easily as you breathe.  But unlike you, I really love you.  I am sorry... I thought you loved Manu, but in spite of knowing that, I could not help myself from falling in love with you. "

" You love me??? "  He tightened his arms around me, crushing me to his chest. His eyes bulged out.

" No !!! I hate you... I just want to go away from here. " I hit on his chest but he was smiling as if I was kissing him.

" Awww... Liar... See you are not a convincing liar like me. So stop doing it. "

" I don't trust you... You can lie even while you are sleeping. "

" I know he is a liar, but right now he is telling you his real feelings. You know, today we met in a cafe and He told me everything about you. Everything about your relationship.  He wanted me to help him to win your heart. He is a confirmed liar but right now, he is speaking with his heart. He is not acting. He really loves you. " Sahil Ji said. I just looked at Mohit and he nodded like a young boy.

" Even, I can assure you of that.  I know everything about him.  And ever since I came back, I noticed that he has changed a lot. He was always lost in his thoughts. He was cranky, irritated, annoyed, shouting at people, being possessive over you and was always staring at you. Today you were playing with the kids and he was looking at you continuously. I was asking him. And all of a sudden he became emotional and hugged me saying that he loved you but didn't know what to do about it. His whole life was changing so fast that he was confused. I had guessed it before he told me, I just wanted to confirm it. So I am sure my best friend is in love with you. "  Manu said.

" See even your honest bhaiya and bhabhi testified what I said. Now trust me," he said, I was very happy but didn't know how to react.

I just couldn't trust my ears and I felt very shy.

" Let me go this instance or I would call Maya di. " I said to him.

" Did someone miss me?? I just heard my name. "I turned to see Maya di there.

" Di !! Tell him to leave me."

" Think of the devil and the devil arrives... " Mohit muttered.

Maya di caught his ear in her hand and twisted it.

" Devil ??? I will tell you, leave her right away !!! "  Mohit winced a bit but did not loosen his arm.

" What if I don't ??"

"  I will slap you in front of your friends. " Maya di said.

" You won't do that... "

" Try me, brother."  She said and he reluctantly loosened his arms around me.

I missed the warmth, I was feeling in his arms. I had kind of loved it. But I was feeling very shy. I went to Maya di and said can we leave??

" You can't go there at her place. "  Mohit came near me but Maya di was standing there in front of me.

" I am not going anywhere with you. " I said holding di as my shield. My heart was beating frantically.

" She can and she is. Come Srusti... Let's go home." She glared at him and caught my hand.

" Hey, Maya !!! I need to talk to her... I need to solve all our issues. She would go home with me. I have to tell her everything about myself. I don't want anything to come between us now. "

" Why should she go home with you??"

" Because she is my wife, I love her and I missed her. I can't eat when she is not around, I can't even sleep. "

" Wife???? You idiot... why you didn't even tell me?? " Manu hit him.

" I was about to tell you when she barged in and then stormed out."

" When did you get married?? "

"4 months back... "

"4 months and you did not even tell me. I hate you... " Manu said.

" I will tell you everything at least let me breathe. I told everything to Sahil today."

" So, Sahil is your best friend now?? You told him but not me??  Don't ever talk to me again. I hate you... "

" Cut the drama... Help me with her. What kind of best friend you are?? "

" I am not your best friend. I am with Srusti, Go and ask for help from your new best friend,  Sahil. And Sahil you also don't talk to me."

" Hey !! What have I done??? " Sahil ji said.

" You... You took my position in his life. Don't talk to me both of you. Srusti, I am with you.  We are not talking to these men. "

" But ..??? " Sahil Ji and Mohit both said in unison, but three of us march downstairs to the office.

We went home. Maya di asked me what happened and I told only this much that I saw him hugging Manu and I got annoyed. I could not tell her everything.

Mohit's POV

She went off with Maya. Manu cleared her throat and I looked at her. She raised her eyebrows and I said sorry and hugged her.

" Sorry, it all happened so soon. My parents, you know how they are, were pestering me to find a girl and get settled... " And I told her everything. She was angry with me by the end of it.

" How could you be so insensitive towards her?? She had gone through so much already, how could you use her like this. I didn't expect it from you. You were never like that. You didn't even think about her feelings?? "

" I was very desperate to save my mom and Dadi. It seemed like a good plan at that time. I didn't know that this angel would fall for me. "

" You didn't even tell her the whole reality. " Manu said.

" Because I didn't know that we would get attached emotionally. I thought that we could keep on living like friends in my house. Just the way we were already living. I was scared that she would get scared of my twisted relationships and my different sexual preference. I thought she was too naive and innocent to understand all that. And as we were not emotionally attached, it didn't matter much.  "

" But your plan backfired. Isn't it? "

" Yeah !!! I fell in love with her simplicity, selflessness and innocence. Everyone loved her the moment they met her, even my strict dad and very smart and cautious Maya. "

" Whatever you did has been done. You can't change it. But you must tell her everything now. She loves you, she has a right to know everything about you. "  Sahil said.

" I wanted to tell her today itself... But Maya took her. "

" It's ok, give her time to think about your feelings. So many things happened today, you told her your feelings. She will need some time as it takes some time to sink in all that happened all of a sudden. " Manu said and I nodded.

We all came downstairs and Manu and Sahil left with the kids.

Harry and Sonia were winding up the things as it was time to go home as the office time was over. The staff that looked after the showroom till midnight had come.
