Mohit's POV

I imagined Srusti standing there with one of Manu's daughters.

What was that?? Was it my imagination??

Maybe I was missing her so much... But she looked very real.

Was she really my Srusti??

What was happening?? I was literally rooted to the floor.

Manu turned to look at them. "Hey Srusti !!! Come, meet my friend, Mohit. "

What ????

She was here?? In my office??

Oh God !!! This was not my imagination. I was still too shocked to react.

The child was clapping and jumping and all of a sudden she tried to jump out of Srusti's arms.

Manu ran towards her in alarm.

Srusti caught the child in time but lost her balance and was about to fall when someone held her in his arms. 

I don't know whether I was relieved or tense to see that.

I saw that Sahil was holding her tightly.

What the hell??? Sahil ?? I just wanted to get her out of his arms.

Srusti just said thank you to him in a low voice and looked apologetic. Sahil gave her an assuring smile and said, " Don't worry Srusti, it's ok... "  Manu took Sanya in her arms as Srusti still seemed a bit shocked just like me.

" No, l am sorry, I should have been more careful. "  She said to Manu and Sahil. Her eyes were full of tears.  Manu shook her head to make her feel comfortable and was also trying to control the excited baby. 

Sahil hugged her lightly and patted her back. It was a normal friendly gesture to soothe a shocked person. But I wanted to punch Sahil. I felt as if I was on hot coals.

" Hey Sahil, good to see you. " I said with a smile extending my hand for a handshake. He released her and took my hand and then pulled me into an embrace. 

Thank god he released her. I exhaled as if I had been holding it for so long.

" Hi, Tailor... How are you?? Happy that Manu is back??"  He was smiling like anything.

" You can't even imagine... " I smiled.

" I know... I am leaving my girls here with you. Take good care of them. "

" I would, don't worry..." I wanted to meet him for so long but right now I was not very comfortable having him around Srusti.

" I am sure of that. So, how is life?? "

" Good !"

" Hey beautiful, you forgot their food on the table.  So I brought it for my princesses. " Sahil said to Manu and she smiled.

" Thanks, darling. " She said and smiled at him. They looked at each other with so much love.

I asked him to come to my office as I needed to talk to him. But he said that he had to go to an urgent meeting.

He kissed Manu and the twins and then he shook hands with me and said bye to me. He turned to go and saw Srusti with a sad face and took her hand in his large one and patted with the other one, " It's ok, sweetie... Nothing happened. And these things do happen with toddlers. They are too excited about their surroundings. Don't worry. Now just smile. Ok ?? " He said and left. It seemed as if they were very close.

Sweetie ?? What is wrong with Sahil?? Why was he talking to her like that? What was going on between them??

Sahil was a confirmed Casanova. He had a natural way of charming girls. Though he was married to Manu, still I was getting very uncomfortable.

  Was he flirting with her??  I wanted to rearrange his face as I was getting angry all of a sudden.

No !!! He had changed... I trust him. He is a nice man and is madly in love with manu. I tried to calm myself as I knew, he was not flirting with her.

I needed to talk to him but wanted him to leave as soon as possible.

But what about Srusti ?? She was so naive... What if she falls for his charm or extremely good looks?? I didn't want Srusti working with them.

Srusti must have been shocked to see me as I was to see her. 

Sonia and Harry went to arrange the nursery for the kids. While Srusti played with Suhana and Sanya. Sanya was getting a bit drowsy now.

" Sir, Coffee?? " Harry came and asked.

" Yeah... Please order some snacks too." I said looking at Srusti.

" Sir, Maya ma'am sent packed breakfast and lunch for you. " Harry said.

" I don't want that... Either send it back or give it to someone who wants it. "  I said trying to make my point and he nodded.

See, I can eat food from outside. I don't need your food...

" So, Mohit what is to be done today?? " Manu asked me. But I wanted to talk to her about Srusti. I wanted Manu to help me with her. 

" Just settle down and make the kids comfortable here for a day or two.  " I said to Manu while looking at Srusti, she was playing with the kids.

" Hmmm, good idea. Come Srusti, I would show you around and make you familiar with my work and introduce you to the models. " Manu said and she nodded.

What??  Meet models?? Why ?? There is just no need...

Manu and Srusti were about to go out when a helper came with coffee and snacks for us.

Srusti excused herself and started going out.

I didn't want her to go out.

" Hey !!! Where are you going?? " Manu asked.

" Have your coffee ma'am, I will wait for you outside."

" No, come and have coffee. "

" Thank you, ma'am... But I don't want it. " She said with a faint smile.

" Please stay... at least have something. " Manu said. 

" I am not hungry ma'am. "

" Still have a bite at least. "

" Ma'am, I was going to take Suhana out. She might spill the hot coffee."

" No, let her play... You come and have something. "

" Ma'am, please...  I will have my coffee and food with the assistants. " She said and was about to go out and I felt bad. So, I told her that everyone was coming inside. I called Harry and  Sonia to join us.

She took a deep breath and sat down as away from me as possible. Sonia and Harry also joined us.

I had not realised that I was very hungry and the snacks were amazing and very different from the usual ones Harry orders. I was enjoying them.

" Hmmm... the snacks are really good. Isn't it Mohit? " Manu asked.

" Yeah... Loved them. I can have them every day. Good choice Harry. "

" Sir... Actually, I ordered sandwiches, croissants and coffee for you. But then I thought to serve them as well thinking that may be Manyata ma'am likes them as she doesn't like the sandwich much. "

" Great !!! Where did you get them from, Harry??? Some new eating joint ?? Awesome !! "

" Sir... Maya ma'am had sent them." Harry said with a sheepish smile.

What???  Maya sent them... ?? Srusti made them???  Oh, God !!

" What ?? I told you, I didn't want it." I was shocked. I looked at her. She was looking at the kids. Holding a cup of coffee which was still untouched.

" Sir but you said that you should give it to someone else, I thought Maya ma'am would get hurt if I send it back. So I thought to serve them to Manyata ma'am.  Sorry, sir... "

" No, that's fine, but don't try to be over smart again. " I said a stole a glance towards Srusti.

" What is your problem Mohit ?? Are you angry with Maya di?? C'mon, she sent such a nice treat to you. How can you not eat all that?? " Manu scolded me. 

" Excuse me, I would come back in a minute or two. "  Srusti said and left my office. I saw she was upset with all this.

I am so stupid... I didn't even know what was I doing??  I just wanted her to know that I didn't want her to stay with me because of the food... I wanted her.

I followed her. She was asking  someone the way to the washroom.

" Wait... " I said but she didn't listen so I caught her hand.

" Leave me alone... "

" Listen !!! "

" Please, leave my hand. " She said and I did not want to create a scene so I did it.
