Srusti's POV

" Do you sleep in separate bedrooms?? "  Maya di asked all of a sudden.

Oh, God!! What do I say now??

" Ji ??? Oh...no... It's... it's just..."

" Just what?? "

" All of you... got so many things for me, that there was no space in his cupboard. So, I kept my stuff here. "

" Sure?? You are not sleeping in different rooms?? "

" N-no Di... "

" Ok, packed your stuff?? "

" Ji " I nodded and she asked me to follow her.

We came out and were ready to go. But he was still upset. He did not look at me even once as we were going. He just said bye to all of us.

I felt bad and just when I was about to slip into the car, he held my hand and pulled me in his arms and gave me a quick but tight hug.  My heart rate increased.

" Enjoy yourself and miss me if possible. " He said and then turned away before I could say anything.

We all came back to di's home. It was very beautifully decorated.  She took me to their guest room and told me to take a rest as I was not well earlier.

It was morning and I went out. Di was making tea.

I greeted her and said that I wanted to make breakfast for everyone. She said it was my home too and I could do whatever I wanted. So I made Handvo and cutlets. Everyone loved them.

I also made Kadhai paneer and daal tarka for lunch. Di and I packed lunch for everyone and breakfast and lunch for Mohit too. Di said that she would send the food to his office.

The kids had gone to school and we all left for our work. Jiju offered to drop me at my workplace as I had not brought the car. I said that I would manage but he didn't hear anything.

" Either you take our car or one of us would drop you. " Di said and Jiju nodded.

I could not think of driving one of his very expensive cars, what if something goes wrong and I end up with a scratch or dent in the car. That was the exact reason, why I never drove Mohit's other expensive cars, only that old car.

I told them the address of Malhotra's as I didn't know the address of her office.

Jiju was going that way so I went with him.  He dropped me and wished me good luck and went away.

I went inside, Manyata ma'am was ready and after about 10 minutes and after rechecking that she had taken everything, we left for the office.

Finally, we reached the office and Mrs Malhotra seemed very excited to rush in. She called someone and helped me in taking out stuff to create a temporary nursery for her kids.

I saw a man and a woman coming towards us. They both greeted her with a big welcoming smile.

" Welcome, ma'am !! It is so good to have you back here with the little dolls.  "  The man said courteously, He seemed to be sweet-natured and very efficient.

" Thanks, Harry !!! Hi, Sonia !!! How are you?? " Mrs Malhotra asked.

" Good ma'am... "

" I would like you to meet my other assistant, Srusti. And Srusti, he is Harry, my friend's assistant and she is Sonia, my assistant. " We all greeted each other and took the kids and all other things inside the office.
I was holding the babies diaper bag, my own two bags and Sanya. Sanya looked fascinated with her surroundings and was jumping in my arms out of excitement.

It was a very big place but a very excited Sanya made it difficult for me to look around.

Manyata ma'am had already gone inside and Sonia followed her. While Harry came with me. He was carrying a lot of stuff too.

He called a helper and handed everything to him and instructed him to keep everything in some room. 

I was walking slowly, looking around and all of a sudden I saw something and my whole body froze.

I could not move a limb. In fact, I could not even blink.

I saw my husband, on paper only, embracing my boss, Manyata Malhotra.

Manyata Malhotra?? Why?? How??

Oh my God !!!! Manyata was Manu ??

NO !!!

But denying, what was absolutely obvious was not going to help. Of course, she was Manu...

Oh God!!! How could you do that to me??

Why did I have to take up the job under Manu??

Does she love Mohit back??

Well, they looked very comfortable in each other's arms. But what about Mr Malhotra???

It looked as if Mr and Mrs Malhotra were madly in love with each other. I was so confused.

Mohit looked delighted and excited. I had never seen him so happy. He was so engrossed in her that he didn't even look around.

Sanya made a very exciting sound and tried to jump out of my arms. She wanted me to leave her on the floor so that She could explore. I was already shocked and preoccupied with my thoughts. So I got a bit off-balanced in trying to prevent her from falling.

I caught her just in time but I was about to fall when two strong arms caught me. He held both me and Sanya in his arms.

I just murmured a quick thank you.

Mohit's POV

I woke up and went outside. The whole house looked cold and dark. My ray of light and hope was no there. I missed her and wanted to go and meet her. I almost got ready to go to Maya's place but then I stopped myself. She wanted to stay away from me for a while.

But I wanted to at least look at her.

Control yourself !!! You can't go there or she would think that I wanted to eat the delicious food made by her.

How could she think that?? Does she think I wanted her just because of food? I would show her that I didn't want her food, I wanted her.  I would not eat anything made by her, even if she insists now... She is much more important to me than anything else.

I wanted to see her in front of me... I missed her a lot. But then I thought that all of them had to go to work as well, so I decided to let it be and went to my office instead without eating anything.

I asked harry to arrange the room next to mine as a nursery for the kids and Manu. It was a visitor's lounge but it would be perfect and lively for the kids. 

That room was perfect as it was separate from the rest of the place and Manu could keep an eye on children even while she was in my office as it had one way glass.

I kept myself busy to keep my mind off her.

It was about twenty minutes past ten when Sonia and Harry rushed out after Sonia got a call from Manu to come outside.

I was excited to meet her after so long. She walked in after about 5 minutes followed by Sonia carrying one of the twin dolls.

I was so happy that I hugged her very hard. She was my best friend with whom,  I could be me. I didn't need to hide anything from her.

I wanted to tell her about Srusti as soon as possible and seek her advice to make Srusti know about my feelings and make her fall for me. I wanted Srusti in my life desperately.

I just wanted Manu to settle down with kids before I could bother her with my problem.

" Hey, you have become even more beautiful... I missed you a lot. Thank God, you are here now.  " I said and was still holding her in my arms.

" Thanks Mohit,  I missed you too.  "

" It seems that hot Husband of yours is taking very good care of you. You seemed to have gained a bit of weight. But looking much sexier now. "

" Shut up you Idiot!!!  I gained weight because I gave birth to my daughters."

" Hey, why are you so offended?? It was a compliment. You are looking hotter. I am sure your hot husband thinks the same. "

" Somehow, I don't like it when you call him hot. Call him Sahil without adding hot to it. Just don't even think about him."

We were just laughing about it when we heard a very excited voice of a child and we turned. It was time to meet her little dolls.

But the moment I looked in that direction, I felt as if I had lost my sanity as I imagined Srusti standing there with one of Manu's daughters.

What was that?? Was it my imagination??
