Srusti's POV

Maybe he wanted me to leave them alone.

" Ok, sir !! " I said and was going into my room when I heard Robin.

" Hey beautiful, I am very hungry... Could you get something for me?? Anything that Mohit likes. We are alike, we like to do the same things... We have the same preference in all things, you see. Isn't it Mohit??"

Mohit was glaring at him. I didn't know what was going on.

I turned again, nodded and went to make the pancakes.

" No,  she has pain in her hand. Ms Mehra, please go to your room and rest. " Mohit said in a higher tone.

Ms Mehra?? Oh, so we are strangers now?? He was confusing me. Was he bipolar??

" Wait !! Let me at least taste her...cooking." Robin said and Mohit looked angry even before Robin could complete his sentence.

" Why?? She doesn't cook for you?? "

" But she does for you. We shared so many things. So what is the problem now? "  He said with a teasing smile which looked somewhat like a satire.

" Shut up Robin !! "  He almost glared at him as if telling him to dare and say another word. But robin maintained that smile.

" Srusti,  leave all that and go to your room," Mohit said and I was still wondering, what was going on between them??

" Srusti !!! Hmmm... Nice name. Won't you offer food to your guest? Don't worry about him, he is just angry with me as I met him after such a long time... I need just a few minutes and he would melt like butter. Please make something for me. Please, it is a humble request."
He said and I could not refuse.

I didn't know what to do...but if he was Mohit's friend, I should. As it is he was saying that he was very hungry...and requested me to cook something.  How could I not make food for him?? So I made it for him.

I made pancakes and served them on two plates for them. I gave them but Mohit seemed to be annoyed now.  He was not even looking at me.

" Finish this food and leave... "  He said to Robin.

" Don't be angry yaar... Ok, let's resolve our differences with the help of this kind and beautiful lady. Would you help me, beautiful? Would you suggest a trick or two to make this sulking man happy?? You must be knowing a few... Right??  " I didn't understand, what he meant by that. I just looked at Mohit to understand the meaning but he looked as if he was on the verge of losing his anger.

" No, she would not. Ms Mehra, please leave." His voice raised to an octave.

" But breakfast?? " I asked.

" I don't want anything, for God's sake, just leave. "  He said in a very high tone what was wrong with him??  He looked tense.

What was going on??

I was not getting anything so I went to my room and got ready to go and meet Malhotra's.

Mohit's POV

I was shocked to see him standing in my house. He still had the keys with him. I asked him what was he doing here ??

" I know you are shocked to see me after so long, but come and give me a warm hug. " Robin said with a smile as fake as him. He came closer to us and hugged me really hard. I somehow didn't like his touch the way I used to do. Maybe because now I know the reality of his feelings for me.

" By the way who is this pretty woman?? So she has been keeping you busy?? Hmhh ?? May I have the pleasure to be introduced to her ? ". He said sarcastically.

Oh, God!! He saw me holding Srusti in my arms, he must have guessed that I feel something for her. So I said that she was my cook and housekeeper. 

But he made another sarcastic remark about her being perfect wife material. I could smell jealousy in his behaviour and I panicked.

What if he tries to harm her?? He even has the keys to my house. I can't let her stay here all by herself, I had to think of her safety.

Then he turned to her and said," Hello beautiful, I am Robin, Mohit's best friend. Isn't it Mohit?? " He said and extended his hand towards her to shake hands but I didn't want that so I held her hand before he could.

I told her to go inside and apply painkiller spray but she didn't understand and said she was fine so I had to raise my voice at her. 

He was trying to instigate me by involving Srusti in our conversation again and again. I knew it was his way of showing me that he knew about my feelings for her.

I wanted Srusti to get away from his filthy gaze and presence. But that simple innocent girl did not understand.

Robin asked her to make food for him as he was very hungry and my sweet angel could not refuse that.

How dare he order her like that?? I got angry and I said she would not. But he started saying double meaning cheap things about her.

I was boiling inside but had to control my emotions for srusti's sake. I could not let him know that she was my wife now or he would have tried to hurt her when I was not around her.

But she didn't know that she should not go anywhere near him as he could and would try to hurt her.

She made pancakes and served them to us and he was looking at her with his lustful eyes which were annoying me now.

" Finish this food and leave... "  I said while clenching my fist.

But he again involved Srusti in it and said double meaning things to her. Though she didn't understand them, I literally lost my temper.

I wanted to kill him but couldn't do it or he would hurt her in turn. So I had to send her away.

" No, she would not. Ms Mehra, please leave."

" But breakfast?? "

" I don't want anything, for God's sake, just leave. "  I shouted at her, she flinched and went inside.

" Don't you dare drag her in it. I'll make your life a living hell if you go anywhere near her. "  I was angry beyond my limit, though I tried to calm down for Srusti's sake.

" Oooh la la... Is she really worth that much??? You are breaking my heart for her... But how will you save her heart from breaking???" His narrowed eyes  making him look vengeful.

" Well, Robin... She is just an innocent girl who works for me, so I am responsible for her. So stop bothering her. And leave me alone. " I wanted to convince him to leave her out of this.

" Not anymore handsome, I left you alone for some time and see, that little cook is trying to snatch you away from me... I would not let that happen ever. I would do anything to get you back... " It was not easy to get him convinced to stay away from her. 

" I would never be back with you. "

" Let's see... By the way, is she good in bed?? "  He said with sarcastic humour. 

" Robin !!! Shut up before I do something that you would not like. "

" Oh, Mohit... Jaan, try anything, I would love anything that you would do with me. "

I was still talking to him when I saw Srusti was ready to go out. Where was she going now?? I went to her.

" Wait a minute, where are you going?? " I asked her in a low tone.

" I prepared your breakfast and I don't think you would eat lunch as well sir, now I am free so I am going for my another job. "

Another job ?? Had she already accepted it ??

"  Srusti wait... " I said, I needed her to stay as I wanted to talk to her after that Robin would go away. 

" No sir, I have already completed my work here, I am going to take that job, I was offered. " She said and started going out.
