Srusti's POV

It was morning and I got ready and went out to meet everyone.  Maya di had asked me to keep my bags packed for the honeymoon. So I had already started doing that.

I went to prepare the breakfast but maa said, " You can prepare your first meal after the wedding when Mohit is back. I don't want him to miss the ceremony. " She said and I nodded shyly.

Kids were awake now they came out of the room. " Maaamiii !! What are we going to do today?? " Myra asked.

" I don't know... Let's think. " I said.

" Nothing, Mami has to do her packing. She would have to go out on a trip with Mamu. " Maa said.

" Can we also go?? "

" No beta, only mamu and mami can go. " Dadi ma smiled and I blushed.

" Oh, why?? " Viren asked.

" Because you are too young. "

" When I would be old like mamu, then I will also go?? " He asked again.

" Hmmm " Dadi nodded.

" Yeyy !! Mami, I will also take you and Myra with me. " He said very innocently. I smiled at it and dadi and maa were laughing.

" Oye !! Take your wife, not mine..." We heard his voice.  He was wearing a night suit.

Did he come back last night??

He came and hugged Maa and Dadi. Then he came and placed his arm around my shoulder and kissed my head. Then he glared at Viren, but we all knew that he was acting.

" Why ?? " Viren challenged him. 

" Why ??? I don't know... But you would go with your wife, not mine. "

" But I don't have any wife and Mami is so sweet. "

" I would find one for you... Just leave mine alone. "  He said and everyone burst out laughing.  Viren just made a cute face. 

" When did you come, Beta? " Maa asked him.

" At night around 1 AM. "

" Did you eat anything?? Why didn't you inform us, we would have waited for you. "

" My work got over, so I came back. I didn't feel like eating at that time. But I am hungry now. "

" Let's all have breakfast. " Ma said. Papa had gone out so he had already eaten. Maa made me sit by him and the breakfast was served. We all had food. Dadi ma asked him to feed me but he fed her instead.

" No, I would like to feed my girlfriend. You seemed to have lost weight girlfriend. No need to do that... You are already too sexy. All the old men of the city would be standing here outside the house. Dadu would get jealous in heaven. So eat well and let dadu rest in peace. "  He said and I could not stop laughing. Everyone was laughing.

Dadi ma pulled his ear and he kept laughing.

Mohit's POV

I enjoyed good family time with everyone. I loved spending every minute with them. I felt guilty for not spending much time with them in the past. But I was avoiding the topic of marriage.

But Srusti had created magic and the tense atmosphere of my home became so relaxed. I didn't feel like avoiding coming here, in fact,  I felt good now.

Srusti cooked her first meal,l after getting married for the ritual. She made awesome food, keeping everyone's choice in mind. I was impressed to see that she cared for everyone in the family.

She was more relaxed with my family than with me. But she was such a sensitive girl who could cry at the drop of a hat. But she was always happy around kids and kids went crazy around her. They almost forgot me, the one who used to pamper them the most.

They were sad that I was taking their Mami away from them for so many days. Myra was so angry that she was not even talking to me and of course, Viren was annoyed as I told him that he could not take my wife on honeymoon. So I thought to make them happy and We took the kids for the ice cream treat.

Viren and Myra both had 3 scoops each of different flavours as they wanted to try many of them. Srusti chose chocolate ripples and I opted for tutti-fruity ice cream with fresh fruits.

Kids were enjoying all the flavours and insisted Srusti try all of them. 
She kept saying she didn't want more but the kids made her taste all the flavours.

Only my icecream was yet to be tried so I offered it to her but she shook her head... I don't know why, I was disappointed. I took some on the spoon and offered her again but she shook her head again saying she was too full.

But Viren and Myra managed to make her try flavours once more. 

Viren offered her the butterscotch and this time also she shook her head but he was adamant.

" No baby, I am full. " She said.

" I am not a baby, I am a boy. " Viren said rolling his eyes and she started laughing.

" What happened?? " I asked her though I also found it a bit funny. But her reaction was a little too much.

" It seems to run in the family. " She said with a smile.

" What?? "

"  You said that too... I am not a baby."

"That's because you called me one. From which angle, do I look like a baby?? I am not even a boy, I am a man. A tall, fair, handsome man. "

" Yes mami, me also. A man. "

" Oh my God! Viren you are a boy..." I said to him. 

" No!!! Dad called me a young man last week. I am a man now. "
.
" No, you are a cute little boy, Mamu is a man. " She said smiling at him.

Awww... so cute and I am your man.

" No, I am a young man, Mamu is an old man. " Viren said.

What ??? Old man ??? Me ??

" Oye... Behave yourself. "

" No, Let's ask Mami. Mami, who is young, me or Manu? "

" You," She said with a smile.

"  Then who is old?? Me or Mamu ?? " He asked. She was trying to control her laughter. She was looking so pretty. I was enjoying looking at her.

" Ummm..."  She was about to say something but I stopped her.

" Don't even answer that... I am not an old man. Do I look old??  " I asked her and she shook her head.

" Yes, you are Mamu, ask Myra. You scared Mami, she was going to say that you are an old man. "

"Enough young boy or I would not bring you for another ice cream treat. "

" That is not fair, Mamu... Anyone would call you old... " She was literally shaking in trying to control her laughter and looked very beautiful. She should smile more often.

" Enough Viren... Not another word. Finish your ice cream. "  He did but looked a bit annoyed at me.

We all came back home, Maya was waiting for us to come back.

" Hey, how many icecreams did you let them have?? I hope not more than 2 scoops?? " Maya asked.

" Di he took 3 for them but they made me eat every one of it that they must have had only 2. "

" Viren why are you sulking?? Did you thank Mamu and Mami? "

" No mom, bhaiya called mamu an old man. " Myra said.

" What?? Why?? What is this, Viren?? That is so bad. Say sorry to him right now !!! "

" Sorry, mamu... but you ask mom. Even she would say that and she is not even scared of you.  "

" Viren don't argue !! "

" It's ok Maya, it was just a funny banter. " I said.

" Mohit you pamper them so much. See now... And I am really angry with you son. " Maya said to Viren.

" Relax Di... It was not serious. Please don't scold Viren. It was funny. " Srusti said.

Then she told the whole thing to her and she was also trying to hold her smile back.
