Mohit's POV

She was about to close her door when I reached there.

" Ummm... I am sorry for that, Maya ... "

" Di ?? Do you need anything? " She said all of a sudden. I turned to see Maya coming towards us.

Oh God !!!

" What are you doing here Mohit?? Can't you wait for her to get ready?? And how would she get ready, if you keep her engaged? "

" But, you see I was just trying to... "

" I know what you were trying. Now go from here. "

" But Maya... That is not fair, we are getting married in a few days... 

" Exactly... So wait till then. Leave her alone. "

" Oh c'mon... can't I get 5 minutes alone with her. "

" She is going out with you, right?? So leave for now and let her get ready. "

" Maya... Please just 5 minutes... "

" No... Go daadi is calling you. "

" Maya !!! "

" Go... "

" Ok, Let's go...let her get ready... " I didn't want Maya to talk to her before I talked to srusti.

" No, you go... I need to talk to her. " She took her hand out of my grasp and pushed me on my shoulders.

" About what ?? "

" Why should I tell you ?? "

" Because you are my sister and she is my would-be wife. "

" She is my would-be sister-in-law... I don't need your permission to talk to her and I am under no obligation to tell you, what we talk about... Now go before I slap you. "  She glared at me.

" What ?? "

" Don't forget I am your elder sister. "

" This is too much... " I was getting annoyed now. I needed to talk to Srusti.

" I know, now leave... "

" Maya, I always helped you and Viraj to meet. Why can't you let me go and meet her? " I tried another way to convince her.

" No... "

" 2 minutes ?? "  I said but she placed both hands on her waist and glared at me.

" Don't act like Viren, I will slap you as I do with him. "

" I hate you... "

" Great !!! Same here. " She was as stubborn as hell. So I left.

Srusti's POV

Mohit followed me to my room and it seemed he wanted to talk to me but just then Maya di came and interrupted him. He wanted to talk to me but she was adamant to send him away.

After some unsuccessful attempts, he finally went away. My face must have been looking like a tomato by now. Everyone saw us there standing near the mirror. He was standing so close to me.

" Oh, God!!! You blush so much and look so gorgeous whenever you blush. " Di said hugging me.

" Now let me help you in getting ready. This might probably be the first and last date you are going on after he proposed to you and before you get married. Mohit is really crazy, he gave you the shortest courtship period with merely 7-8 days. Men are crazy and my brother is the craziest of them all. " She said and I just smiled.

" Di, I would get ready, please don't bother. "

" No, just keep quiet. And let me do the work. " She said and took out a nice dress.

" Now tell me something, are you happy with him?? I mean, I hope,  he didn't rush you into this relationship or anything like that? I feel that you are a bit uncomfortable around him. "

Oh, God!! Why is she asking that??  

" I am happy di... No, he didn't. It's just that I was still mourning for my parents. And he is a very expressive man while I am very shy. "

" Do you love him?? "

" Y..yes di. " I said looking at the floor but my face had started becoming warm.

"  He is literally an idiot, how come you fell in love with him? "

" He is a wonderful person. Yeah, he is exactly opposite to me. But I was very impressed with the way, he took care of me. He is trustworthy, caring, loving, dependable, good-looking and kind-hearted. On top of that he loves his family like anything, he can do anything for his family. "

" Awww... I didn't know that idiot had so many qualities. Though he is very sweet, could get really irritating at times. " She said with a smile and I just smiled.

" So dear, I hope you are not angry with him for not coming here to meet you for the last three days. I mean you are living with his family while he didn't even come to meet you. "

" No di, he said he was busy, I understand, he is such a famous and talented designer. He had lots of work and he said he had to get my dresses ready too. And don't worry di, I loved being here with everyone. I have been craving for this kind of love, I was missing my parents. But your parents and you gave me my family back. Thanks, di. I love all of you. "

" We love you too. Now get ready fast, or he would come back to get some time alone with you. You have an appointment tomorrow, so if he asks you to come out with him, tell him you are busy. "

" What appointment di?? "

" You wait and watch... Now get ready. I don't want that over impatient lover boy barging in. " she smiled winking at me.

I washed my face again and changed into that dress. Di was still in my room. She took out some make-up and gave me a close look.

" You have very beautiful skin and hair. But let's make it irresistible. "

She applied makeup on my face and styled my hair differently. I was just surprised to see myself in the mirror.

" You look even more beautiful now now go outside and he would be floored by just looking at you. Don't forget the appointment, you are coming with me tomorrow.  " I just nodded shyly.

Just then there was a knock on the door. Di rolled her eyes and opened the door a bit and went out.

Mohit's POV

It was almost half an hour since Maya went into her room. What was Maya doing with Srusti?? I hope she doesn't ask too many questions... What if Srusti can't handle her questions? I must do something.

I knocked on her door and Maya came out. She glared at me.

Oh, God!! Has she found out the truth?? No!! She would kill me now...

" What is your problem?? How can you do that?? What do you think of yourself? "

Oh, Shit !!! She knows everything. I must pacify her before she explodes. Dad would come and kill me.

" What?? I am sorry... I didn't want to... "

" What?? You moron do you even care, how she must have felt. It's her life too. How could you do this to her?? You didn't even give her any time. "

" I.. I... Am sorry, but I could not think of anything... "

" What is this ??  You proposed to her and you want to get married to her within a week of proposing. What is the problem??  Why are you in such a hurry?  You are an idiot, an absolute idiot. "

" Maya ... At least listen to me... I can explain... I really like... Love her... It's not what you think...  "

" Mohit go to the living room, we are coming in 5 minutes. "

" But I need to talk... "

" Can't you let her get ready?? Don't you know it's a girl's privilege to take as much time as she wants to get ready? What is the hurry?? "

" WHAT ?? "

" Get lost... Don't behave like a lovesick puppy. I know what is there in your mind. But wait in the living room. "  But I was still confused. She again glared at me, turned and opened the door just a tiny bit and told her to come to the living room.

Maya caught my arm and led me to the living room.

" What is happening?? "

" Let her get ready in peace. "

" It's her only date in the 7 days of your courtship period. Make it totally worth it, understood? "

" What?? "

" Why are you saying what in every sentence?? Have you lost your mind? I am saying you both are getting married within 7 days of you proposing to her, so it is the only formal date. So spend the whole day with her as, after that, you would not be able to meet her till your wedding. "

" Oh!! Ok !! " I was so much relieved to hear that.

" Make it one of the happiest days of her life till now."

" Maya, I know you are forgetting that  I am not Viren, I am Mohit, the charmer... And I am 29 years old not a child. I know, how to make a date special. "

" I know... But she is a different kind of girl. " Maya said and we reached the living room.
