Srusti's POV

Maya di and Viraj Ji wanted to go home as they were tired after work, but the kids wanted to spend more time with me as they had a holiday today. I was happy about it but Maya di was a bit reluctant as she thought that I would be bothered. But I told her that I would love it. So she finally agreed.

She wanted me to come for shopping but I didn't want to go. So
Maya di went shopping and got a lot of stuff for me as well.

I haven't even opened the bag full of things she got me. I just kept them in my room.

After they left, the kids and I, went to my room and I told them a few stories till they both slept. I loved their company.

I got up from my bed and got ready to go out, Though I didn't know if Mohit would come or not, I still made breakfast for him as well.

Only 3 days were left for our wedding. Maa, papa and Maya di had done almost all the preparations. Maa had told me that their jewellers would be here today as she had already asked him to send some designs.

Oh no, I didn't want them to spend more money on me. But I could not even stop them.

I prepared some  Paneer Paranthas and brownies as kids were also there.  It was almost 9 AM and I was planning to go and wake up kids.

Just then papa and ma came for breakfast and the cook served what I made along with the poha and tea.

" Srusti beta, have breakfast with us, Don't wait for Mohit.  I am going to pull that idiot's ears today. It's been 3 whole days and he has not turned up." Maa said.

" Hold it, mom, I am here. " We heard his voice and saw him coming towards us with his beautiful smile.

" Oh, the great fashion designer got the time to met his family and fiance... "

" Cut the sarcasm mum, I am here now... I was really busy... I had to get the dresses ready for my beautiful bride. Especially her wedding dress. " He said looking at me and my heart jumped a bit.

I don't know what was happening to me, whenever he looked at me like that or smiled or touched me, I felt my heartbeat accelerated.

I tried to remind my stupid heart that it was not real. But I just had to look at him with that smile and my heartbeat increased manifold.

He hugged his parents and came towards me, looking at me with his beautiful smile on his face.

He came very close and hugged me lightly.

" Hi beautiful, missed me?? "  He asked in a very husky voice.

" Y-yeah... "

" Me too... I finished my work and I am all your's now," he said and bent on one of his knees.

What was he doing??

" So... My angel,  will you please marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?? "  He said looking at me. I was too shocked to react. Why was he doing all this all of a sudden?

" What??  You are proposing to her today?? " Papaji asked him but he ignored and kept looking into my eyes.

" I know that we are already getting married but I am asking you again formally with a ring now as I got it this morning only. "

" Such an idiot... " Papa shook his head and smiled.

" Come on beautiful say something... Don't keep me waiting... My heartbeat is increasing. "

" Y-yeah... " He took the ring out of the box and slid it on my finger and placed a kiss on my hand.

I knew this all was a show for the sake of his parents but something was happening in my heart.

I had to control all that... It was fake... Not real...

It was just a deal Keep that in mind.

" Excuse me please... I'll just come. " I said and started going from there.

" Come soon, I am waiting, let's have breakfast together. " He said and I nodded.

I went to my room, closed the door and leaned against it.

Why was he behaving like that all of a sudden?? 

May be to make his parents believe that we were really in love, very much in love.

But I have to keep it my mind that it is just an act... But every time he came close to me... I felt weird emotions and reactions in my body.

I looked at the big solitaire on my finger. What was the use of it?? We already said that we were getting married then why this? And that kiss on my hand...

I washed my face as I felt it was very hot. Took a look at myself in the mirror. Combed my hair again. Took a  deep breath and went out to the dining room again.

He was waiting for me with a smile. He got up when he saw me and pulled a chair for me and made me sit next to him.

Oh, God !! Please tell him to stop all that.

We started having breakfast and Maa talked about how the preparations were going on. I kept eating silently while he kept talking to them.

Papa excused himself as he had already finished his breakfast and got a call on his phone.

I got up to go to the kitchen when he caught my hand in his.

" Where are you going, love ??"

" To the kitchen... "

" C'mon sit by me are you angry with me that I didn't come for 3 days ?? "

" What?? No... You must have been busy. That's ok..."

" No, that's not ok, I must make it up for you. "

" But there is no need... I don't want to bother you."

" What nonsense??  Of course... There is a need to do that. I need to do that as I missed you. "

" You did?? "

" Why are you even asking?? I did... It seems you are angry with me. "

" No, not at all."

" Ok, if you say so. Would you like to come out with me today?? "  He asked looking into my eyes.

" But.. don't you have to go to your office? "

" No, I want to spend the day with my beautiful fiancee. Come out with me, please... " He said in a pleading tone.

Maa was looking at us with an adorable smile on her face.

" Yeah, ok... " I said with a small smile.

He smiled brightly and hugged me. I just wished that he should not hear my heartbeat as my heart was pounding so frantically.

Why did he have to hug me??

" Wait, go after some time, the jeweller would be here anytime. " Maa said and he nodded.

Mohit's POV

I reached home and went to see her to tell her that we have to act to be in love. Maya had already guessed a lot of things.

She was not in the room and Myra and Viren were sleeping on her bed. Did they sleep with her??  Are they so comfortable with her?? Amazing girl... Kids are already crazy about her.

I went to find her and she was in the dining room with my parents. I could not tell her about my plan, had to just go with it.

I hugged my parents and then went very close to her and hugged her lightly.

" Hi beautiful, missed me?? " I asked. She was surprised.

" Y-yeah... "

" Me too... I finished my work and I am all your's now. " I said and bent on one of my knees.

" So... Will you please marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?? " I said looking at her. She looked very surprised.

" I know that we are already getting married but I am asking you again formally with a ring now as I got it this morning only. "

I proposed to her in front of my parents and they were really happy to see that. She looked somewhat uncomfortable. She seemed to be in deep thought.

" Come on beautiful, say something... Don't keep me waiting... My heartbeat is increasing. "

" Y-yeah.... " She said and I took the ring out of the box and slid it on her finger and placed a kiss on her hand.

She excused herself and went to our room. What happened to her?? Was she again feeling guilty?

I need to talk to her, she didn't have to... She was not deceiving them, I was. 

She came back after a few moments and I could see that her face was a bit red.

We had breakfast and then I asked her to come out with me, which she accepted hesitantly.

Kids were awake and they came out of her room. They saw us and ran towards us. But to my surprise, they hugged her not me. What was going on? They had always been very close to me as I pamper them a lot.

Her face lit up and she smiled brightly at them. She looked very happy with them. I had not seen her this happy since I met her. She looked beautiful and so sweet smiling like that.
