Mohit's POV

I kept working to keep myself busy for the next three days. I didn't even go to my parent's place.

Harry asked me who was this bride as she had brought so many dresses but didn't even come to the studio even once for selection or for fitting. And even the payment was due.

I told him that it was some close relative of mine. And I didn't want to charge anything. It was kind of a gift.

He must have felt weird... But he was smart enough to know when to stop. He didn't discuss it further and got down to his work.

Our wedding was scheduled for the coming Monday which was in 4 days. It had to be on a weekday as I wanted a registered marriage.

Her wedding lehenga was ready it was one of the most beautiful lehengas made by me. It was heavy yet elegant, traditional yet modern. It was really a piece of art, made to surprise and entice the groom and it promised a very romantic and exciting wedding night.

What a waste... Our wedding night is not going to be romantic or exciting. We will be in our separate rooms.

All the other dresses were already delivered to my penthouse.

I don't know why mom and Maya were hell-bent to do all this. I mean a heavy bridal lehenga on a registered marriage?? Would she not be just too overdressed??

It was evening and I kept making new designs for a very long time. I didn't even go to my penthouse, after everyone left I went up to my apartment which was just above the studio.

But I was feeling lonely and maybe a bit sexually frustrated. It was almost 3 days and I had not even gone to my penthouse, so to distract myself, I went to various bars and clubs every night. I flirted and danced with random people. If Robin can go on dates so can I and if he gets jealous, I would tell him to mind his ways first.

As it is it was an open relationship... So if he can go on dates, why not me? I had needs too...

I went to a new club today, saw two girls trying to flirt with me. I smiled at them casually but as usual, I was not very interested in them. One of them came towards me and tried to seduce me with her sexy dress and hot body.

I was already sexually frustrated as Robin was in Mumbai for too long and I was busy as well. So I decided to have some fun, she was touching me seductively and suggested that we should go to her place. I nodded and we came out of the club.

We reached her home and she removed my jacket and threw it on her couch.

" Oh god !! You are sinfully handsome. Where have you been all this time?? Why do I feel, I have seen you somewhere. " She said and pressed her body to mine.

Her hands were all over me and I started responding to her seduction. We moved towards her bedroom while still kissing each other and just when I was going to throw her on her bed, my phone started buzzing.

I saw that it was Srusti... I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Why was she calling me?? I tried to ignore it, but her innocent face came into my mind.

I took the call, " Hello?? Yes??? "

" I just wanted... I mean Maa wanted me to ask you if you would be coming for dinner today? "

" No, I am kind of busy... Please don't bother, I will order something from outside. " I said and was about to disconnect when I heard her sweet hesitant voice again.

" But you must not eat outside food, as it is you don't like it much... I made... I mean... Maa said that you were working so hard. So we made your favourite dishes. Shall we send you dinner?? "

" Yeah ok, send it to me. " I said and disconnected the call. The girl rubbed her body to mine again. But I pushed her softly.

" Listen, I am sorry... But I need to go." I said and after adjusting my clothes, I went out of there and drove towards my penthouse.

Why did she have to call me now??

She was concerned... My inner voice replied.

I didn't want food...

I know what you wanted...

Why didn't you tell me that you didn't want food??

Because I didn't want to disappoint her. She cooked my favourite dishes.

But why did you pick up her call in the first place? You could have ignored her.

That would have been rude...

What nonsense?? She is helping me with that plan. She matters to me... What if she backs out or she needs to talk to me about something important??

I reached home and took out a glass and was about to make a drink when the door bell rang.

Maya and Viraj were standing there. Maya looked a bit serious.

" Hey, how are both of you? It is good to see you but you both didn't have to come so much out of the way and bring food for me personally. Anyone could have brought it. Or I could have ordered it from my favourite restaurant. " I said

" Yeah, he is right, Viraj. We should not have bothered. Sorry to disturb you, Mohit. I think we must leave. Let's go, Viraj. " Maya snapped all of a sudden.

" Hey !! Hold on... What's wrong with you?? I am glad to see you. You didn't disturb me. I was just saying that because it felt awkward that Viraj had to drive here all the way to bring food for me. He is my brother-in-law. It was so sweet of him but I felt embarrassed. "

" Then why are you not coming there?? "

" I was busy... I just came home. "

" Do you remember, that you have someone special in your life now?? "

" I do... But my work is also important. "

" Did you propose to her because of what that girl said?? " Maya looked into my eyes and asked.

" What?? No !!! " I was shocked.

" Then, how can you neglect her?

" What are you saying?? Why would I do that?? I told you, I was busy... "

" At that new club?? " She glared at me.

Shit !!! How does she know about it??

" I... I went there with some friends who came to my studio for shopping and then insisted that I go out with them. "

" What about Srusti ?? "

" What about her?? "

" For God's sake, you proposed her just last week. You are going to get married to her in 3 days. And you are neglecting her already? "

" What ?? I am not doing any such thing. "

" You haven't met her in the last couple of days... And you go out with friends? Are you marrying her just because she cooks well?? Or to satisfy your family?? What about her?? Her feelings?? "

" Maya, I think you are overreacting. "

" Am I?? She is staying with your parents cooking all the meals for everyone as well as you. And you don't have even an hour in your so-called busy schedule to go and meet her? Ridiculous !!"

" Why are you making a hill out of mole? "

" Tell me something Mohit, are you really in love with her ? "

" I am... why are you asking?

" You are not... I think you proposed to her just because of what happened that day. "

" What are you saying?? No, I love her. "

" You don't behave as if you love her. It looks that you proposed to her to satisfy your family. "

" No !! Viraj please make her understand. "
