Sophie POV

"Who? Who are my parents?" I was so nervous and excited that I might have shook him back and forth a little. "WHO ARE THEY?!" I was really eager.

Mr. Forkle sighed. "I advise you to sit down; the story I'm about to tell you is... a little much to handle. That is one of the many reasons I have kept it from you." He said, sitting his round body on the nearest chair.

"Once upon a time, there was a goddess. Her name was Athena. She married a man named Fredrick Chase. A few months later, two, beautiful girls appeared on the door step, in golden cradles, straight from Mount Olympus. They were twins and there only difference was one had big, grey, eyes and the other had big, brown eyes. The two girls grew up with each other for seven years. They were best friends; when monsters came, they fought together and when they felt alone, they knew they still had each other." He told the story and his eyes were glassy as finished. Sophie, though was not finished.

"So, I'm not an elf?" I asked.

"No," he replied.

I fell backwards in surprise. Luckily, Fitz caught me befor I banged my head and suffered a concussion.

"So, everything in this world, is not real, at least for me?" I felt a little bit empty. I wondered if this was how Amy felt when she was brought to this amazing world; small, unimportant, and intimidated.

"Well, it's still real. And I said you weren't an elf. And your not. Your half elf."
I blinked. "Half elf? So Fredrick Chase was an elf?"

"He was. That is one of the reasons Athena took a liking to him. He was one of our few scouts for the Black Swan. He looked after the Forbidden City of what humans call California." He replied.
"So he donated his DNA because he was involved in Project Moonlark?" I asked. I knew this was probably top secret, and he wouldn't tell me, but it was worth a try.
He sighed again. "No. I-" he faltered. He looked incredibly guilty of something. "Project Moonlark is a thing. Once we knew Fredrick had two daughters, they were Project Moonlark. You and Annabeth were the first children of an elf and goddess. So technically, you do have experimented genes." He said, slightly sheepishly.
I was literally about to explode. HE TOLD ME I WAS AN EXPERIMENT WITH MESSED WITH GENES AND HE LIED TO ME AGHHHHHHHHHHH!
"Chill Foster," Keefe said. "If you knock Forkle out with your inflicting, I can't torment him later! And we can't ask more questions about your parents."
I glared at him. "I wish you weren't right."
Fitz smiled at me. "It doesn't happen often," he said.
Keefe glared at us both as we laughed, in spite of ourselves.
"Ok," I said, attempting to get back on track. "So where in California does he live? Can you transmit me a picture of his house?" I crossed my fingers, hoping he would say yes.
"I don't see why not," he said slowly. He reached up to touch my temples. I sucked in a breath; either he had no idea what I was about to do, or he didn't care. I saw a picture of a decent sized house with a beautiful yard. Strangely, there were also a few cows wandering in the background.
"Grab my hands," I transmitted to Fitz and Keefe.
They moved to my sides as I transmitted to them t start levitating. I sent a silent thank you to Alden and Della for having such high ceilings. We began to drop and I teleported through the void.

A/N Oh how I love cliff hangers. (Not when the author gives them to me, but you get what I mean) Sorry it took a little longer to write this. Not many people are commenting or viewing, so it doesn't give me that much motivation. But then I reminded myself of the few people who do read this. I didn't want to let you guys down! Anyway, I have a very broad plot line, but I NEED more ideas! If you have any, I will try to use them! Please vote, comment and follow me! If you follow me, I will follow you back =D
Love you all!
