Seaweed Brain's POV

I was sitting in the back of the truck with Annabeth and Sophie. I was looking back and forth between them, seeing their similarities.
They both had flowing blond hair. Annabeth's was curlier, though. I looked at their eyes, that differed though. Sophie's were chocolate colored, while Annabeth's were beautiful, storm grey. If I didn't need to do stuff I'd stare in them forever and ever and-
"SEAWEED BRAIN!" I almost jumped out of my seat from surprise. (Which is pretty hard to do when your practically strapped to the seat)
"What? Who died? What happened?" I asked frantically.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and smiled sweetly. "Just showing Sophie here how to get your attention." She replied. She turned to Sophie and added, "Works every time."
Sophie giggled and exchanged a glance with her twin. I playfully glared at them while Annabeth stuck her tongue out at me.
*...*...*^^^*...*...*
The bus lurched to a stop suddenly. Apparently, I had fallen asleep on the way there. When I woke up, I saw Annabeth snickering and Sophie looking off into the distance. "What's so funny?" I asked.
"Well, you kinda fell asleep on my shoulder, and when you woke up, you smacked Sophie in the face." She replied, laughing her pretty little head off.
I felt my ears turn pink as I turned to Sophie. "Sorry about that," I said sheepishly. "I've been told I'm a deep sleeper."
She shrugged and pulled out her Imparter. She appeared to be messaging one of her friends. *Idk if imparter do that, but in this story they do* I didn't want to be nosy, but I found myself reading over her shoulder anyways.
Sophie: Hey Fitz! Just letting you know that I'm at the place and will call you guys soon!
Fitz: Sounds good! Miss you already!❤️
Sophie: Me too! Tell the guys I'll give everyone a call!
She put up her imparter, and I hastily looked away. Annabeth gave me a look saying i-know-what-you-did-and-it-wasn't-cool.
I looked up to avoid both of their eyes. I follow Annabeth out of the car, Sophie trailing close behind. I saw her catch her breath as she looked over the expanding hills. As we walked onto campus, I saw a lot of campers running up to meet us, pummeling us with questions:
"Who's that?"
"Is she a Demi-god?"
"Does she live in China!?"
I held up my hands to stop the yelling. "This is Sophie," I said. "She's a Demi-god and what? No she doesn't live in China."
The kid who had asked the last question groaned sadly.
"Where are you expecting her to stay?" Boomed a loud voice. I spun around to face Dionysus, our camp director.
"We're hoping she'll be claimed tonight," I told him.
"Very well," he said.
Just as he said that, a dazzling light shone over her head. Well, two dazzling lights to be exact.
Everyone gasped in awe. Over her head was a glowing owl. For Athena of course. But next to that was a glowing trident. The sign of Poseidon.

I am sooo sooo sorry this took so long to write! Also so sorry for the cliffhanger.... I feel like an awful person. Well, also sorry for the short chapter. I'll try to update quicker this time.
Love you my peeps!!!
