Annabeth's POV
A/N Hey guys! Thanks for getting me to 36 views! Even though most were probably me, it is so amazing to know people read my story! Also, I noticed I have been misspelling 'Annabeth' for like, two chapters. So so so sorry! I will shut my talkative mouth so you can read! :) -sophiefoster4eva
"Elves." Percy repeated. "So do they, like, make cookies or help Santa?" He cracked a smile.
I suppressed a sigh. "Percy. There are kind of like us. Except less monsters follow them. And some are more powerful." I said patiently.
"Well, name one powerful elf."
"I know someone!" I yelled out suddenly.
"Who?"
"I have no idea." We looked at each other. "Percy," I said carefully. "I think I know what she looks like. I'm getting an image. She has blonde hair like me and brown eyes like dad-" I started trailing off. Poor Seaweed Brain. I could tell he was getting lost by my rambling, so I decided to draw the mysterious girl instead.
I never knew that I was a talented artist, but as my pen flew across the page, I discovered my new talent. The image looked exactly as it did in my head. Percy seemed to notice too. He looked at my work with adoration.
A/N I'm not going to show the picture because that will spoil it for those who don't know :) let me know in the comments who wants to see it?
The picture took a while to draw, but when I finished, I knew it was right. "We need to get Chiron," I told Percy. "I know this person, but-" I started trailing off again. Percy nodded his head and we set off to the Big House.
"Chiron," I said as we got there. We had pushed right past Mr. D, who did not seem pleased with us. "CHIRON!" I yelled again.
"Chhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooon?!" Percy also yelled. Mr. D ran out from his pichole game and turned to us. "Of course it's you two," he grumbled. "Peter Johnson and Annie Bell, stop this screaming about for Chiron. If you handled matters like grown-ups and not like children, you would think to look for him instead of howl like babies."
Percy and I looked at each other and tried to fight back the urge to laugh. We muttered hasty apologies as we went off to find Chiron. Eventually we found him and explained our predicament.
"Well, so Annabeth had this, like, memory of this person thing, and we don't who the heck she is or where she's from, but we think she's an elf because when I asked 'who's a powerful elf' she said I know someone." Do you know who she is?" Percy said, clearly not bothering with proper grammar or punctuation. As a daughter of the wisdom goddess, it was my job to give him my best glare.
"Elves you say," Chiron mused. "I haven't seen them since... I can't put my finger on it. One day they just were gone. Now, like the gods, most human cease to believe in them."
"But who is she?" Annabeth pressed.
"Honestly? I have one guess. And Annabeth, you are right. She is very powerful. And tomorrow I will attempt to arrange so that you can meet her. Her name is Sophie Elizabeth Foster."
A/N Sorry not sorry for the kind of cliffhanger ending. I know, I know, I'm almost as bad as Shannon Messenger (with cliffhangers) but I promise, I'm will probably be worth it! Thanks for reading!
