[Lucy's P.O.V]

It happened when I was on a S-class mission. It was 2 months since I had quit Fairy Tail and joined Sabertooth.
[Normal P.O.V]

Lucy jumped from branch to branch at max speed through the forest,her eyes searching for anything that was edible.

"A deer"

Lucy jumped down and landed soflty on the ground without making any noise, holding her bow in her left hand and an arrow on her right hand.

Shooting the arrow through its skull it landed on the ground liveless. Lucy slowly walked towards the dead deer making sure everything was clear from any dangers,since Rising Demons attack when you least expected.

"Be glad you died without suffering"

Lucy smirked at the deer,she grabbed the arrow that was pierced through its skull and pulled it out roughly,blood spilled out of its wound landing on her black boots.

"Tch"

Lucy grabbed her sword that was tied on her back and brought up in the air ready to slice its head off. She heard and gasp and quickly turned to the rustling of leaves.

"Show your self!"
I can't even eat peacefully,they are just waiting for me to let my guard down.

"I will not repeat it again!,show your self!"Lucy shouted getting irritated.

"I...please don't hurt me!"

Lucy turned to see a small girl with piercing purple eyes,black long hair,a white knee length dress that was ripped and tattered,blood stains over her pale face,her eyes showed fear,her feet had scars,some were still bleeding.

"Who are you?!"Lucy pointed her sword at the small girl who seemed to be 6 years old.

"I...I...my..."the girl kept stuttering annoying Lucy who had no patience at all.

"Will you quit stuttering!?"

"H...hai...I mean...hai...i-"the small unknown girl began falling backwards. Lucy quickly reacted and ran towards the falling girl and catched her in her arms.

"You have lost a lot of blood"Lucy muttered looking at her wounds. Lucy carried the girl bridal style towards the dead deer's body. She carefully placed her on the grass and looked at her calm face.

"What is a brat doing in a forest?"

Lucy called Virgo and asked her to bandage the girls foot,then thanked her and sent her back to the spirit world.

Lucy sighed and raised her sword then sliced the deer's head off. She gathered some wood to make fire to cook the deer and to keep her...& unknown girl warm.

"nngh"

Lucy turned from the fire to the girl who was rubbing her eyes with her small hands.

"You finally woke up"

"Huh?"

When the girl opened her eyes she saw a blonde who looked like she was 17 or 18. She jumped away thinking she would harm her.

"Relax I'm not going to hurt you...besides what would I gain from killing a weakling like you?"Lucy's voice sounded so cold and heartless making the girl flinch.

"I...i-"

"I told you to quit stuttering,its annoying"

"Hai"

"Now,what's your name?"Lucy glared at the young girl "and don't you even try to attack me,I could end your life in a second"

"I-i...I'm Rika"the girl said trying not to stutter.

"What were you doing here in the woods?"

"I was running away"Rika said looking at the ground.

"Running away?,from what?"Lucy asked looking around. She could be running away from a member of Rising Demons.

"From my family"

"And why would you do that?"Lucy asked coldly.

"They were yelling for me to run away"

"Do you know why?"

"There were some people wearing black cloaks with blo...blood stains"

Rising Demons! Lucy thought with wide eyes. "Where did you come from?"Lucy asked looking at the girl straight in the eyes.

"Flower village"Rika muttered.

"That's an hour away" they are close...they probably sensed my magical energy

"I...I am hungry"Rika mumbled shyly.

"When did those people in black cloaks appear?"Lucy asked gripping the girls shoulders roughly.

"Ye-yesterday"Rika stuttered feeling Lucy's nails beginning to dig into her skin.

They must have already left!  Lucy let go of Rika. She stood up from the grass and punched a tree. "Dammit! I could have gotten information out of one of their members!"

"Miss-"

"What!?"

"N-nevermind"

"I am heading to Flower Village"

"Can I come with you?"

"I don't care"

Rika flinched but followed Lucy,even if her stomach was begging to eat the roasted deer.

That's the day I met the 6 year old Rika,when we had gotten to the village all we saw was houses on fire. They knew I was coming to get them. This all happened 10 months ago,when Jiemma gave me orders to hunt down Rising Demons.
