Nero: "How have you returned? I felt your soul leave the realm of the living."

Jake: "I left behind some unfinished business."

Nero: "And it still appears as though you won't give it up."

Jake: "I really did wonder how I was able to bring this with me beyond the grave."

Jake shoots a small icicle behind him.

Nero: "(in head) There is no way he went there."

Jake: "I hope you don't mind me kicking you back to the depths of hell."

Nero: "Just try it."

Jake rushes toward Nero, but in an instant....

Jake: "Where'd he go?"

Nero: "Behind you."

Nero lands a deep cut in Jake's back.

Jake: "Crap, he got faster!"

Nero: "My soul and body are complete. Can't you see that you have no chance?"

Jake: "Still not giving up! (in head) I just have to win!"

Jake toughs out the pain.

Nero: "I see I have to go all out..."

Nero sheathes his sword.

Nero: "...with the weapons that were once your allies!"

Nero sends out a burst of flames.

Jake: "Great."

Jake blocks it with an Icicle Wall.

Nero: "Nice try."

Nero stabs Jake's cut with Annabelle's daggers.

Jake: "This is bad! The poison is going to take effect in a few minutes!"

Nero: "Now do you see your lack in ability?"

Jake: "Still... won't give.... up..."

Nero: "Looks like it is taking effect quicker. Now How about a nice jolt?"

Nero hits Jake with a lightning arrow in the stomach.

Jake: "Can't......... give...... in....."

Nero: "Now for a trip in the air..."

Nero uses the wind to launch Jake into the air....

Jake: "(weakly) Am I...."

Nero: "...only to come crashing down!"

Jake: "(weakly) No different?"

Nero uses the whip form to grab Jake and send him crashing down.

Jake: "(weakly) Not..... dying..... now......"

Jake nearly passes out from blood loss.

Nero: "This has been fun, but time to end this."

Nero draws his sword to decapitate Jake.

Jake: "I..."

Jake remembers back to that day.

Young Jake: "(crying) I can't!"

Nero: "However, let's make this finale more satisfying."

Young Isaac: "It's not that you can't!"

Nero calls for some Impurities to bring forth Dillon, Luis, Ethan, Annabelle, Daniel, Serah, and Isaac."

Isaac: "What the hell do you want?"

Annabelle: "Our thoughts exactly."

Nero: "Feisty, but I just wanted you to watch as I extinguish the Last Spark of Hope."

Nero points to Jake's near lifeless body.

Young Isaac: "It's that you won't!"

Everyone: "Jake!"

Nero: "Right now he is awake, but not for long."

Nero picks up Jake by the neck and removes his pendant.

Jake: "(weakly) Not... done... yet!"

Jake is somehow still wielding Icicle Wing without his pendant.

Nero: "How can you still wield that only those with angel energy can-"

Jake opens his eyes.

Nero: "Those eyes..... Lucifer how could you?!"

Nero drops Jake.

Nero: "You had children with her?!"

Serah looks into Jake's eyes.

Serah: "So she truly did love him."

Jake is on the verge of passing out again when he starts to hear everyone.

Dillon: "Jake get up, I know you still have plenty of fight in you!"

Ethan: "C'mon don't think about the odds, just fight and win!"

Luis: "After we saw you in the dungeon, we felt a feeling of hope we never felt before, so continue to give everyone that hope!"

Daniel: "Yeah don't make me think you just showed up again only to die seconds later."

Annabelle: "Fight with resolve like you always been."

Then Isaac speaks.

Isaac: "Don't die on me now, like a retard!"

Jake: "(weakly) You're... right."

Jake stands up through pure resolve to fight.

Jake: "I can't die now, not when everyone depends on me."

The faint light appears around Jake again.

Jake: "As long as he's around, I can't let my world even mention his name."

The light glows brighter.

Jake: "So, Nero..."

The light gets even brighter.

Jake: ".... I hope you enjoy death!"

Then two wings sprout from Jake's back, one black, the other white.

Serah: "My Leah had children with Lucifer."

The rest of Heaven's Hope starts to react.

Nero: "No, don't leave-"

The pieces merge with Icicle Wing.

Nero: "The energy..... is stronger within you?!"

Jake notices his wings.

Jake: "The second half fits now."

Heaven's Hope's gems start to shine.

Jake: "Nero, your time is up."

Jake lashes at Nero with speed beyond belief in dagger form.

Nero: "I can't move!"

Jake: "Let me end this!"

Jake starts to perform a similar technique to what Nero performed 2 years ago.

Jake: "HELL RENDER!"

Nero is frozen, burned, poisoned, sent into the air, electrocuted, and slammed into the hard ground.

Nero: "Why? Well it doesn't matter, Boris has to have taken care of everything in Rolil."

Nero's body fades from existence as Jake falls onto his knee.

Jake:"I need to heal my wounds...."

The wounds heal unbelievably quickly.

Jake: "take out those Impurities..."

He eradicates all nearby Impurities.

Jake: "...and free everyone."

He does just that.

Jake: "Everyone okay?"

Isaac: "That was fucking metal."

Jake sheds a single tear.

Jake: "You know you never mentioned something like that."

A strange doorway appears where Nero fell.

Serah: "The rift."

Jake: "The rift? Is that what that doorway is?"

Serah: "Yes. Did you ever question where the first angels and demons came from?"

Isaac: "No one ever thought about that."

Serah: "Well, the original angel and demon were Nero and I."

Jake: "Then angel's and demons haven't been around for very long then?"

Serah: "Yes, we were created by the original God to watch over this piece of a larger world."

Jake: "(in head) The maps..."

Isaac: "What do you mean by a piece of a larger world?"

Serah: "Toriph is but one sixth of a larger world known as Reith."

Isaac: "Then why can't we enter these other places?"

Serah: "The original God put barriers around the pieces of Reith after a world war was caused and removed the memories of the other pieces of Reith from everyone."

Jake: "That means the original God cared about the people, yes. (in head) Still doing that."

Serah: "Yes, and you heard the name of another piece when you finished Nero correct?"

Jake: "Rolil."

Serah: "Yes, and it looks like Nero was working with others from the pieces of Reith to plot to end it."

Jake looks at his friends.

Jake: "Well, I guess I have to go and help fix this by preventing their ultimate goal to be reached?"

Serah:"Yes."

Isaac: "Why does Jake have to do it? Why not me?"

Serah: "Jake has experience and more resolve."

Jake: "Relax Isaac. I won't die."

Jake picks up the pendants and puts his own back on.

Jake: "Here you go guys."

Jake tosses the pendants.

Dillon: "Don't die."

Annabelle: "Just come back safe."

Jake: "Relax, I'm a professional."

Luis: "Can you hide your wings? It could help people not be scared of you."

Jake: "Give me a sec..."

Tucks his wings inside his jacket.

Jake: "There we go."

Daniel: "See you later."

Ethan: "Don't be stupid."

Jake: "I'll be fine and goodbye."

Jake steps into the rift and arrives in the middle of a field.

Jake: "This place is nice."

Jake notices a town in the distance.

Jake: "(in head) That's where I'm heading."
