Narrator: "3 days after our 4 heroes left Gustia, our heroes had been traveling through the Thunderstorm Desert with a few issues already popping up though."

Luis: "How are you guys holding up in this heat?"

Dillon: "I'm fine, but..."

Jake /Annabelle: "(groaning) We want to die."

Luis: "Why exactly? Dillon and I can handle the heat just fine."

Jake: "(groaning) We are from colder areas, seriously if my ice couldn't help in this sun, we would've passed out by now."

Dillon: "Well keep it together until nightfall."

Jake/ Annabelle: "(groaning) Okay."

Nightfall arrives hours later.

Luis: "We can rest now."

Annabelle: "Yes!"

The four set up camp.

Jake: "Looks like were running low on water. (in head) Why not combine the heat and ice."

Luis: "Can't deny that."

Jake: "Everyone give me your canteens."

Dillon: "Why?"

Jake: "My ice functions like normal ice so I can try putting some ice in them and letting it melt overnight."

Dillon: "Oh... wait why can't I use my flames to melt it faster?"

Luis: "Your flames could make the water too hot to drink."

Dillon: "Okay well get some ice in there then."

Jake places ice in all their canteens.

Jake: "There, this should melt by tomorrow. (in head) Feel like a genius right now."

Annabelle: "Okay, well we should eat then get some sleep."

The next morning....

Annabelle: "That was a nice sle-. WHAT IS GOING ON GUYS WAKE UP!?"

Luis: "Why are you screaming Annabelle?"

Annabelle: "Look outside!"

Luis: "Guys wake up there is one of this deserts special thunderstorms on the way!"

Dillon: "Great! How are we going to avoid that?"

Luis: "Just don't have large amounts of metal on you."

Jake: "Good thing my arm isn't actually metal."

Luis: "Abandon everything except your canteens and run."

Annabelle: "Good idea."

Narrator: "So our heroes, understandably run for their lives while drinking the now melted ice noticing that they probably won't make it through this storm."

Dillon: "(panting) I just realized, how much further until we make it to Kurent?"

Luis: "Another day."

Annabelle: "I don't think we'll make it. Fuck."

Jake: "Yeah, all of us are already exhausted Dillon: "Well, we still have to keep going for as long as we can."

Jake: "You're right."

Narrator: "So our heroes keep running since in a barren desert, there is no such thing as shelter in a barren desert, but they kept going narrowly avoiding lightning strikes until."

Dillon: "I don't think I can go on."

Dillon passes out.

Jake/ Luis/ Annabelle: "Dillon!"

Narrator: "Little did they know that yell would be what would save their lives since in the distance..."

Hunter: "I heard some travelers in this storm."

Hunter's son: "Dad, we got to help those people now!"

Hunter: "Daniel, we must hurry if your hearing does not fail you!"

Daniel: "Thanks dad, but no time for thanks, we have to hurry."

Back to our heroes...

Jake: "I'm the strongest so I'll carry him as long as I can!"

Luis: "Don't break yourself."

Jake: "Don't worry."

Narrators: "However the 4 can only move a little farther until Luis passes out too."

Annabelle: "This isn't good."

Jake: "Yeah, plus I really can't move much further before I pass out."

In the distance they here voices.

Hunter: "Hey! Anyone out here?!"

The 2 conscious ones immediately cry out...

Jake/ Annabelle: "Over here!"

The hunter and his son Daniel quickly make their way over.

Hunter: "Are you kids okay?"

Jake: "More or less, we were trying to get to Kurent before a storm hit and we were good until today, so we were caught in this storm and our two friends here passed out from exhaustion from constant movement."

Daniel: "Good thing we were on our way back when we heard you yell. Well my name is Daniel, Daniel Lynes and I'll take care of your lighter looking friend here."

As Daniel picks up Luis with a little help from Jake, Jake notices something important.

Jake: "Your pendant."

Daniel: "Yeah I quickly notice you guys have similar pendants to this one my mom gave me on her deathbed."

Annabelle: "We'll talk more about it in the village, but we have to go before we all become fried chicken."

Hunter: "Very well then."

Narrator: "So our heroes had arrived at Kurent with the help of the hunter and his son, Daniel Lynes, who was the pendant bearer for Kurent. Our two unconscious heroes, Dillon and Luis are given medical attention."

Jake: "I'm really questioning how Annabelle and I got through hat without passing out. (in head) You'd think the ones who could take the heat would carry us."
