Taehyung was confused. It was understandable really. How would you react when the guy you are head over heels in love with suddenly shows interest in you, takes you on 4 dates and shares your bed passionately so many times in the past 2 months and then suddenly doesn't bother to even contact you?

Yes. Jungkook asked Taehyung out again, just 3 days after that first date. They had a fun time in the amusement park, a place that Taehyung absolutely loves. After that day, Jungkook and Taehyung kinda came closer.

Okay. Maybe a lot closer considering they started to fuck like rabbits every time they saw each other.

It was hard to keep their hands off each other and even harder for Taehyung to control his urges when Jungkook stares at him with those damn bambi eyes that look so soft and hold so much emotions that at some point Taehyung thought he was having hallucinations.

So they had tons of sex and 4 dates in the last 2 months, the dates would have been higher if they didn't decided to jump each other's bones instead of going for the dates like planned. Oh how many times had they called to cancel the reservations for dinner.

They were horny fuckers but can you blame them? One looks like the gods took their bloody sweet time sculpturing each and every part of his body making him look like a fucking sin while the other looks like a walking Greek God only with Bambi eyes and a bunny smile and those thick asf thighs and toned 6 packs.

Yeah. It wasn't really their fault for being so irresistible.

But now, Taehyung was confused. And worried. Though he is too afraid to voice it out. It's different feeling it but voicing it out makes it seem too real. Weird logic, I know.

So the younger hasn't reached out to him in 2 weeks, which is a big thing since they were supposed to meet on the 3rd day of the 1st week and jungkook was no where to be found. Even his cellphone was unreachable. Usually jungkook lets Taehyung know if he is busy so it was worrying a little bit. Plus not to mention that the younger is the one who usually comes to visit Taehyung in his office for work purposes (you know what I mean) which later ends up with the sofa stained but what can they do, you can't really have sex in the same doggy position every time.

So where was Jungkook? Taehyung couldn't help but wonder.

He knows that he can just ask his brother who is the best friend of Jungkook but he is also kinda scared cause he didn't tell Jin or anyone except Jimin about the younger and him. It was mostly because Jungkook hasn't said anything on the matter. It was a topic the both of them didn't discuss. But knowing Jungkook, it was probably for the best.

Plus what would he say when he calls Jin, like he can't say, 'Oh hey Hyung. Just wanted to know if Jungkook, the guy who I have gone on 4 dates with and who I love fucking every single day if possible and who I'm still not sure is dating me or is my boyfriend , is still alive and if he is okay cause you know he didn't contact me after he spend the last passionate night with me 2 weeks ago'

Yeah. He couldn't actually say that. I mean he can ask if Jungkook is okay but then the elder will ask why he is so interested in Jungkook and Taehyung doesn't know how to tell his hyung a lie, especially when Jin is very well capable of catching his lies.

So he is in a dilemma.

After he couldn't really take it anymore, don't blame him, he is whipped as fuck, he picked up the phone to dial a very familiar number and held his breath as it started to ring.

'Tae? Hello?'

'Hyung. How are you?', really Tae, out of everything he could have asked, he said how are you? His hyung will definitely know that something is wrong and he can't do anything about it.

'Um Taebear, are you okay? Is something wrong?', came the voice of his very concerned brother.

'Hyung', Tae breathes, praying to God that his voice doesn't sound nervous. 'Everything is fine. I just wanted to check on you guys. It's been 2 days since I last saw you'

Jin laughs. 'Yeah. I'm good. Joonie is good as well. '

Taehyung knows he has to get his brother to tell him about jungkook himself but without Tae actually asking.

'Yeah hyung. I was thinking about hanging out soon. Maybe we can invite the others and have some drinks as well. Its been a while since we got together'

'Oh wow Tae. This is the first time you are actually suggesting a get together. I'm honestly surprised but very happy. We can surely get together soon. Not this week though. I know Hoseok has some pending work and Jungkook is out of the country so maybe when they both are free then. How does it sound?'

Tae relaxes. So the younger is not in the country. Okay. That's okay. Maybe it was an emergency and thats why the younger couldn't inform him before he decided to go but its okay because Taehyung understands. He is also a CEO so he knows the responsibilities and pressure that comes with the position. Work is work and work is inevitable.

'Yeah sure hyung. It sounds perfect. I'll come by to see you tomorrow maybe since I have some free hours. '

'Okay Tae. Sounds good. Love you'

'Love you too hyung. Take care. Bye '

Tae relaxes back into the chair and takes a deep breath.

Honestly, if he is being completely honest with himself, the reason he was so bothered by the younger's disappearance was because he was scared that Jungkook would fall back into his same old pattern of not wanting to get involved more than once.

Taehyung knows that in no way will Jungkook ever fall for him. Maybe he is being too harsh on himself for reasons that only he knows but that's what his mind believes anyway.

He knows that Jungkook doesn't believe in love and if the younger miraculously starts believing that it will be probably a girl who will get his heart. Thats because Taehyung knows that it was a girl who broke Jungkook's heart in the first place.

He won't deny that he knew about the younger past. Atleast bits and pieces of it. Jungkook obviously didn't tell him. But Jin is a blabbermouth when he is drunk so it wasn't really a hard thing to expect. Jin may have let slip how Jungkook is heartbroken because a girl had betrayed him and stuff.

Taehyung felt for the younger. He really did. He can't imagine the pain the younger went through but he knows it must have been fucking brutal if it changed Jungkook completely.

Taehyung knows that he might never get the youngers heart but he can atleast try to mend it for someone better.

Even though he knows that Jungkook doesn't need fixing. He just needs a little bit of love to fill in the cracks and then he will be good as new. Still broken maybe but still good.

Taehyung already knows he is a lost cause. He has fallen hard for the younger. He has literally sunk. But he is also very happy about it and has no regrets.

He didn't love Jungkook to expect anything in return. He loves Jungkook because he can and because he doesn't know anything else.

If Jungkook is happy then Taehyung is happy. Its as simple as that.

Yet, Taehyung had that one moment of weakness when he realized that Jungkook disappeared without a word, he felt like he could lose the younger, not just as a lover cause God that would be selfish, but as his best friend. He doesn't want to lose the bond he has with Jungkook.

And he hopes that when everything falls apart, that atleast Jungkook will let him be his friend, if not anything else.

He can only pray....
