A few minutes later...

James: "How was it?"

Jake has returned.

Jake: "Fine, but-"

Jack: "(smiling) Did you kill them?!"

Eryth: "(awkwardly) Are you seriously excited for an answer like that?"

Jake: "I didn't."

Jade: "Why?! Best to kill their best soldier!"

Jake: "Yeah, but I heard her name."

Jay: "(sighing) Her name?"

Jake: "The Lonely Thorn's real name is Jamie."

Everyone freezes.

Jason: "So you're thinking that-"

The leading general arrives.

General: "Jamie Rilliae is her full name."

Jack: "(smiling) Hey there general!"

James: "I'll send Jacob a message if she really is connected to us."

James types up a message.

James: "Now we-"

Five seconds later he gets a reply saying yes.

Jason: "She is?!"

General: "Something about you six and the Lonely Thorn?"

Jade: "We need to bring her over to our side."

General: "We'd love to assist, but how?"

Jay: "(sighing) I'm on it."

A plan is beginning to take shape.

Several days later...

Jamie: "(drowsy) Where am I?"

Jamie awakens in the Exol Outpost infirmary with her wolf perking up at the signs of her awakening.

Jamie: "Rocky..."

She scratches Rocky behind the ears, having it's tail wag like crazy as a general opens the door.

General: "Glad to see our reports weren't lying."

Jamie gets out of bed no problems.

Jamie: "Here to scold me for failing my mission?"

General: "No, I'm here to give you another assignment."

Jamie stands up and grabs her weapons.

Jamie: "What is it?"

General: "You are to meet up with Lord Lucifer and his assistant at Geil Outpost with those three."

Jamie is about to pull out her shotgun.

Jamie: "Again?"

General: "You four are to act as bodyguards if the enemy has people like that on their side."

Jamie: "Rocky and I are all that are needed."

She eases her muscles.

General: "It's simply caution that caused Lord Lucifer to make the decision that he knew would displease you."

The general walks away.

General: "If you want to get this bandage ripped off again, then hurry up. We've given your squad a supply of grenades."

The general leaves.

Jamie: "(pissed) Why won't they just leave us alone?"

Rocky nudges Jamie's hand while letting out a light whimper.

Jamie: "(calming down) I'll try and suck this up for the both of us."

The two walk out to find Cate, Adam, and Nathan waiting for her.

Nathan: "Alright, you've got the rundown and we've got to make a pit stop at Jien Outpost before we hit Geil."

Adam gives Jamie a belt armed with six grenades.

Adam: "Just know that we need to get along in case we run into Jake again."

Jamie takes the belt and puts it on around her waist.

Jamie: "And just know getting on my good side is more likely than having Nathan shut his mouth."

Nathan: "Hey!"

Cate: "The sooner we get more instructions, the sooner you don't get to hear these jokes."

Nathan: "God please!"

Adam: "Come on Jamie."

Everyone heads west towards Jien Outpost so they can head towards Geil Outpost...
