A few days later...

Jamie: "Simple."

Jamie and the wolf have taken down some deer and bear to have gathered as food.

Jamie: "Come on."

Jamie and the wolf drag the meat to a nearby outpost.

Jamie: "Here."

They drop the food at the entrance.

White Soldier: "Dinner is at 7."

The two begin to walk towards what seem to be barracks.

Jamie: "(yawning) When is it not?"

The two enter the building.

White Soldier: "(sighing) Trying to be nice over here."

Jamie and the dog hop into a small, lower bunk bed towards the back left corner.

Jamie: "(petting wolf) You're the only one I trust..."

Jamie has a vision of a young male around her age.

Jamie: "(darkly) Unlike him..."

Jamie shakes off the memory as she tries to fall asleep...

Meanwhile...

Green General: "(thinking) All that we've done is blow through more and more soldiers since this damn war started."

He is currently sitting inside a ruined school gym.

Green General: "The Lonely Rose is the only reason why we're going south."

He loses himself in thought...
