Lucifer: "We'll stand outside."

Rocky rushes to Jamie's side as Jack puts his hands together.

Jamie: "Just go!"

They hurry outside and leave the unconscious against the wall.

Jack: "(smiling) It looks like he can't fight like he used to."

Eryth: "Remember what we did to him?"

Jamie begins moving.

Jamie: "What did you do?"

A rock juts out of the ground and slams Jamie in the gut as Jack touches the ground.

Jack: "(smiling) We kicked his ass."

Eryth: "Well it was mainly-"

Jack: "(smiling) Hey don't tell her that!"

Jamie gets behind Jack.

Jamie: "Do you like shells?"

Jamie tries to shoot Jack in the back, but a wall of flames sprouts behind Jack as a defense.

Jack: "(smiling) Seashells?"

Eryth: "(disappointed) More like shotgun shells."

Jack: "Oh..."

Jamie: "You're oblivious compared to your friends."

Jack puts out the fire with water born from a blue light from his tome.

Jack: "(smiling) I get that a lot."

Jack draws a charm from his pocket.

However...

Adam: "(drowsy) Wha...?"

Adam and the others are gaining consciousness.

Nathan: "(drowsy) I feel like I'm thawing..."

Cate: "(drowsy) Huh?"

They're barely able to make out the current fight.

Jamie: "What is that?"

Jack: "(smiling) It allows me to channel my Runes differently than my tome."

Electricity cackles down the chain.

Jamie: "Runes?"

The electricity reaches for Jamie.

Eryth: "His powers."

Rocky shoves Jamie out of the way and takes the volts himself.

Jack: "(awkwardly) Heh heh..."

Jack stops before he causes any real damage.

Jamie: "(pissed) Did you just do that?"

Nathan: "(awkwardly) Uh oh..."

The golden light glows bright.

Eryth: "(awkwardly) I think you pushed the wrong button Jack."

Jack draws his staff.

Jack: "(smiling) That isn't new information."

Jamie pulls out her shotgun.

Jamie: "(pissed) I don't care if I was the real target."

Poison begins to drip out of his staff.

Cate: "(awkwardly) Do you think-"

Jamie goes in guns blazing.

Adam: "(awkwardly) I think we'd better stay here."

Jack is creating metal at the bottom of his staff and is using it to bounce around the area and avoid any shells coming his way.

Jamie: "Hold still!"

Jack: "(smiling) Why would I want a shotgun shell in my stomach?"

An icy mist covers the floor.

Adam: "Get up!"

The others get up as Rocky shakes off the volts.

Eryth: "We can't keep going like this!"

Jack is beginning to slip.

Jack: "(smiling) Sure we-"

A bullet throws Jack's pattern off and causes him to fall on his ass.

Cate: "Surprise?"

Cate's rifle was the source and the others are standing on their two feet.

Jamie: "(pissed) Now then..."

Jamie picks Jack up by the shirt collar.

Jamie: "(pissed) Now how should I-"

Rocky pulls on Jamie's shirt from behind.

Eryth: "What is he doing?"

Jamie calms down and lets go of Jack.

Jamie: "(deep breath) I've got a single question."

Jack brushes off some dust.

Jack: "(smiling) Lay it on me."

Jamie: "Why did you help Rocky?"

Eryth: "It's because-"

Nathan: "That thing can talk?!"

Cate backhands Nathan in the face.

Jack: "(smiling) She gets that a lot."

Eryth: "Anyways!"

Jack: "(smiling) It's because we're more alike than you think."

Jack begins to walk out of the cave.

Adam: "Someone as oblivious as you similar to the overly serious Jamie?"

Jamie: "Get back-"

Jack creates a thin wall of metal behind him.

 Jack: "(smiling) A little tip, I wasn't even going halfway."

Jack walks away in the snowstorm as Gabriel and Lucifer return inside.

Gabriel: "What just-"

Adam: "Don't ask."

Jamie: "Just what did he mean by we're similar?"

Two years ago...

Jamie: "(yawning) Where is Gabriel?"

Jamie and Rocky are lounging around in her room and have been for two hours now.

Jamie: "Hm?"

They hear someone enter the front door.

Jamie: "Gabriel?"

Jamie opens the door to find her brother carrying in a critically injured man with a gold and silver suit of armor.

Gabriel: "Jamie! I need to get him medical supplies now!"

Jamie: "O-Okay...

Man: "(weakly) Why are you...?"

Gabriel: "All I could see when I found you was how I could've been in a similar situation."

The man is set down on the couch.

Gabriel: "We're similar."

Present day...

Jamie: "(thinking) What could it mean? It can't be just our names or something like that?"

Night has fallen and Jamie is still trying to figure out Jack's answer.

Adam: "I never would've guessed that a question would get her thinking like this."

Gabriel: "She doesn't stop until she has her answer."

Cate: "How do you know that?"

Gabriel looks at Jamie and Rocky.

Gabriel: "She's my little sister."

Nathan: "WHAT???!!!"
