One hour later...

Jason is on a call with the others.

Jake: "She has the chain to Abyss's Future?!"

Jason: "Yeah it explains why Jay, Jade, and I saw the glow, but you didn't."

James: "It has to be reacting to the presence of Heaven's Hope."

Jade: "But isn't that what Lucifer was missing?"

Eryth: "We need to get that chain away from her before he realizes that she has it!"

Jason: "Did you guys forget that Abyss's Future was torn apart again?"

Awkward moment of silence...

Jay: "Oh yeah...

Jack: "(smiling) And Hell's Despair is still in Toriph."

Eryth: "So leaving her with the chain won't mess us up."

Everyone nods.

James: "We'll get into position ASAP."

Jay: "(sighing) I've already beaten my game four times."

Jade: "(annoyed) And you'll do another four while you wait."

Eryth: "(awkwardly) O-Okay bye now!"

The call cuts out.

The next day...

Jamie: "(drowsy) Where...?"

Jamie finds herself in an infirmary wrapped in bandages.

???: "Rocky brought us to you."

Gabriel is standing by the door.

Jamie: "(in pain) I would've rather died right there than being saved by someone like you."

Gabriel: "We can't lose our best soldiers."

Gabriel exits the room as Rocky rushes to her side.

Jamie: "(tearing up) You're all I have left."

She uses what little strength she has to give Rocky a nice pet on the head.

Jamie: "(tearing up) I just want to go back..."

Jamie sheds a single tear...
