The three begin their trek to Dycele, but something is off...

Eryth: "(thinking) Something isn't right..."

Jack: "(smiling) What feels off?"

Joseph: "I'm getting a similar feeling."

Eryth: "It feels like it's way too quiet..."

Joseph draws his staff.

Joseph: "Keep your guard up Jack!"

Jack pulls out a stone attached to a long chain from his pocket.

Jack: "(smiling) Okay!"

The three continue to trek cautiously on the path for only a few minutes more...

???: "Poison."

A small dart of pure poison shoots toward the three.

Eryth: "Jump left!"

The two dive to the left.

Joseph: "The Poison Rune?!"

A man jumps down from a nearby tree.

Man: "Looks like these two have some skill."

Eryth: "(annoyed) Do these people seriously never notice me?!"

Jack: "(smiling) Did you try to catch or kill us?"

Man: "For a kid who looks as clueless as you, you seem to understand the situation."

A purple liquid covers the man's hands.

Man: "Come on out boys!"

Several dozen more men jump down from the trees.

Man: "We're members of the 13th Crown, and you two should fetch a high price for slave traders."

Jack: "(menacingly) I'm not going back."

Electricity begins radiating out from the stone.

Eryth: "(smirking) You guys fucked up!"

Jack: "Rune #5 Lightning!"

A massive wave of lightning barbecues several people, and a bit of Joseph's hair.

Joseph: "Hey Jack! You almost barbecued me!"

Jack: "(laughing) Sorry..."

The man was unscathed.

Man: "I can now see that the chosen is right in front of me!"

Jack: "(smiling) Yep that's me!"

Eryth: "Not even trying to keep it hidden."

Jack: "(smiling) Exactly!"

Man: "Now YOU'LL make us BILLIONS of gold each! Everyone! Keep coming at them until they can barely move!"

Every member surrounds the three.

Jack: "(smiling) These guys must be in charge of taking and selling people as slaves. Why don't we take care of them here? It should be a lot of fun!"

Joseph: "(panicking) Are you serious Jack?!"

Eryth: "Are you actually sure?!"

Jack: "(laughing) Yep!"

Joseph: "(in head) He is going to get us killed."

As Jack is releasing Rune after Rune, Joseph is blinding and knocking out person after person, until...

Joseph: "Why are we doing this?!"

Jack: "(smiling) Because I thought it would be fun!"

Eryth: "Why?!"

The group begins to close in.

The 13th Crown closes in.

The 13th Crown: "Time to make bank!"

???: "I have no idea what is going on, but your not making anything!"

A boy with platinum hair in a ponytail, beat up white tank top, camo cargo shorts, and sandals walks up to one of the members and stabs them with retractable claws.

Man: "Who the hell are you?!"

Jason: "(annoyed) Jason Velour, and now I'm here to kill you bastards!"

Jason draws a bow and skewers two heads with an arrow.

Joseph: "Holy shit!"

Eryth: "He isn't even using a Rune!"

Jack: "(smiling) So awesome!"

Jason slashes his way to the center and joins Jack and Joseph in the center.

Jason: "Need help?"

Joseph: "(relieved) Thank god!"

Eryth: "Just keep doing what you were doing!"

Jason: "Sounds like a plan!"

Jason detaches a spear from his back and readies a fighting stance.

Jack: "(smiling) How did you learn how to fight without Runes?"

Jason: "(in head) Runes?"

Jason stabs through several men with ease.

Jason: "With skill."

Eryth: "Those weapons..."

Jack, Joseph, and now Jason destroy member after member of The 13th Crown for a while until...

Joseph: "(breathing heavily) I can't... hold on... to my breath..."

Jack: "(collapsing) Yeah..."

Eryth: "You two can't just drop here!"

Jason is the only one who continues to stand.

Man: "We lost a few more members than intended, but you kids are cornered!"

Jason: "(in head) They can't even stand, should I seriously do it now?!"

The remaining members begin to close in.

Jason: "(in head) There's no other option!"

Jason puts his hand over a white scale on his neck.

Jason: "You guys stay behind me!"

Eryth notices the scale.

Eryth: "Be glad that you're on the ground!"

Jason touches the scale as a white light envelopes him.

Joseph: "What the?"

Jack: "(smiling) Awesome!"

Eryth: "Why is someone from Drakos in Vaile?"

Jason emerges from the light, his limbs became those of a dragon, his back had sprouted wings, and his eyes glowed with an emerald light.

Jason: "Now die."

Man: "T-They got past Drake?!"

White balls of energy surround the members of The 13th Crown.

Jason: "Supernova Burst."

The balls detonate and they all vanish, except one, who ran away the moment he realized the situation.

Member: "I-I need to tell Lady Aqua!"

Jason changes back to his human state.

Jack: "(amazed) That was awesome!"

Eryth: "You're related to Nova aren't you Jason?"

Jason: "Yeah, how'd you know?"

Eryth: "(annoyed) Isn't it obvious?! I also have the blood of the Original One!"

Joseph stands up.

Joseph: "What the fuck are you talking about?!"

Eryth: "We can explain on the way to Dycele!"

Jason: "(in head) I doubt that two of us landed nearby each other, might as well go with them."

Eryth: "Just come with us Jason!"

Jason: "Alright, I need to keep your blood safe anyway."

Eryth: "(in head) He's going to explain that right?"

The four trek to Dycele...
