The group arrives at the end of a rickety bridge over a canyon with liquid looking rock at the bottom.

Joseph: "(afraid) T-They really need to repair this bridge."

Jade: "Scared?"

Joseph: "Yes!"

Jason: "At least he's honest."

Joseph: "If this thing breaks we'll-"

Jack walks onto the bridge and shakes it a little.

Jack: "(smiling) We're fine Joseph! C'mon!"

The others cautiously walk on.

Eryth: "You could've died Jack!"

Jack: "(smiling) Sorry!"

As the group begins to walk across...

???: "Targets acquired."

An unseen force shoots one of the ends of the bridge, causing it to fall.

Jason: "We shouldn't have gotten on all at once!"

Everyone begins to fall.

???: "I'll gather the blood."

As the others fall.

Eryth: "A cave?!"

A cave is seen on the other side a little more ways down.

Jack: "Rune #8 Earth!"

A platform appears at the level of the cave and catches everyone.

Jade: "Nice save!"

Jack: "(blushing) Thanks."

Jason: "Thank god that there's a cave here."

Joseph peeks inside.

Joseph: "Let's hope this cave can bring us back up."

Jade: "(puzzled) Why Can't Jack create a staircase back up?"

Jack falls onto his knee.

Eryth: "Jack used all of his energy to break our fall."

Joseph: "And we don't have time to waste for him to recharge. The platform won't last long."

Everyone gets into the entrance.

Jack: "(breathing heavily) I can go, but I can't push myself."

Jade: "Just leave the fighting to Joseph, Jason, and me."

The group pushes further to find more liquefied rock.

Jade: "Why is the rock here like this?"

Joseph: "This place at one point was a magma ravine until the Water Sage at the time used the Water Rune to permanently cool off the magma and made it safer to cross."

Jason: "Not as cool as Mt. Mirror back home."

The group pushes further running into a few Impurities and and 13th Crown.

Joseph: "Something is telling me that the bridge collapsing wasn't an accident."

Jade smacks one of them in the back with a hammer and smashes him and the Impurities into the ground.

Jade: "Let's keep going."

Eryth: "(shocked) You've got quite the arm!"

Jade: "(blushing) T-Thanks..."

The group pushes through the caverns, taking out the 13th Crown members and their Impurities for a good hour or two before seeing a light at the end.

Joseph: "How're you holding up Jack?"

Jack: "(smiling) Just fine."

Jason has his thinking look on.

Jade: "What are you doing Jason?"

Jason: "Get your weapons ready."

Joseph: "Someone had to have shot down the bridge. We should keep our guard up."

Everyone walks out into the light.

???: "Never underestimate the chosen."

An arrow flies towards Jade.

Jade: "Found it!"

Jade blocks the arrow with a strange aura.

Joseph: "What was that?!"

Jade: "My ability to absorb the attacks thrown at me and send them back."

Jade repels the arrow in the opposite direction that the arrow was flying.

???: "Laven was quite the nuisance to Alcionus."

A man jumps down from a cliff top.

Jason: "You're a 13th Crown general aren't you?"

13th Crown General: "You got me Velour."

Iron needles fly towards the general.

13th Crown General: "Really?"

He counters the needles with bullets from twin revolvers.

Jack: "(smiling) This'll be fun!"

Jade: "(annoyed) Stop thinking about having fun and let's beat this guy!"

Jason slinks next to Jack.

Jason: "(whispering) You might want to do that."

Jack: "(confused) Why?"

Jason: "You don't want to piss Jade off."

Joseph attempts to blind him.

13th Crown General: "Shadow."

He counters with the Shadow Rune.

Joseph: "I can't do much without Th Light Rune!"

A bullet lodges itself into Joseph's shin.

Jason: "(in head) We can't have Jack accidentally use the 15th Rune if we want Joseph to live to see another day!"

Jade attempts to slice him in half with a broadsword.

13th Crown General: "Predictable."

Jade absorbs a few bullets, but is kicked away.

Jack: "(afraid) No..."

Jason: "(in head) I've gotta do something!"

Jason switches to his dragonoid form.

Jason: "Supernova-"

All of Jason's bombs are detonated a mile away from him.

Jason: "What?!"

13th Crown General: "Target eliminated."

A bullet lodges itself in Jason's chest.

Eryth: "Don't do it Jack!"

Jack's aura begins to appear.

Jason: "(in head) We're fucked if he does it!"

The symbol appears.

Jason: "NO!!!!"

A wave of energy erupts from beneath Jason.

Jack: "Huh?"

Jack reverts back to normal.

13th Crown General: "What are you planning kid?"

Jade: "It's like when he went up against Drake, we're good!"

Jason begins to change into a full on dragon.

Jason: "This is how I went beyond my limits."

The energy dispels and reveals Jason as a full on dragon.

Eryth: "(in awe) He went beyond his limits..."

Jason gets behind the general faster than he could track.

Jason: "Exploding Star Striker!"

Jason lands a massive gash on his back and causes the man to explode.

Jason: "(changing back) Let's go."

Jack healed everyone.

Jade: "Can you just do that anytime now?"

Jason: "(shrugging) Probably."

Jack: "(excited) That looked awesome!"

Eryth: "We don't want any 13th Crown members after us, so let's get to Thio!"

They all run as fast as they can to the town of Thio.
