Personality
Thoughtful and idealistic, Ryatt strives to have a positive impact on other people and the world around him. He rarely backs down from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy. When something strikes him as unjust or wrong, he gets involved, but he rarely comes across as brash or pushy, since he just has a way of talking with others. He has an uncanny ability to pick up on people's underlying motivations and beliefs. Generally speaking, he is motivated by a sincere wish to do the right thing rather than a desire to manipulate or have power over other people. Even when he disagrees with someone, he searches for common ground. Overall, although his outer stature is very intimidating, he is actually a huge softie who just wants to guide others and the world to be better.

Backstory

Childhood
Ryatt's childhood was nice. He was born in Munich, Germany since that's where his parents settled down for awhile. Though his mom is a Travel Writer/Blogger and his dad is Sales Representative for a German car company so moving around was very frequent in his lifestyle. His mother brought him along for many of her travels, which is probably why he loves animals and plants so much. His dad wasn't around much but would visit when he could. Eventually, he had to begin schooling so his mother brought him to live with her parents in New York City, USA. He didn't get to see his parents much, but they spoke on the phone as often as they could. The schooling wasn't too bad, though he wasn't all about the academics and liked recess more.

Teens
As he got older it seemed the more distant his parents were getting from him. It caused him to become a lot less outgoing and depressed. He retreated spending most of his time on his phone locked up in his room. Not to mention he was starting to get bullied, due to his smaller physique and 'funny accent'. He dealt with it okay, until one day a whole small town gang decided to take a stab at him. They beat him very badly to the point his rib punctured his lung and he needed surgery. From that moment on he vowed that he wasn't going to be pushed around anymore and took up boxing and wrestling. He bulked up and to say the least wasn't pushed around anymore.

Sadly enough, it wasn't very permanent since once word of his surgery got to his parents they decided to move him out of New York claiming it to be too dangerous there. He was up and moved to the Hills in California since one his dad had some appointments to try to get German cars into some of the dealerships in the area, and his mother could go along the coast to some of the famous Californian vacation destinations. So it wasn't all too bad since he got to see his parents a lot more for a little while. Of course, it didn't last too long and he went right back into his depressive state. He did try to end himself, which only landed him in therapy and on medication.

When school started back up for him he remained quite introverted afraid that the kids would be like the ones back in New York. He made a couple friends mostly with the kids that also got picked on since he knew what it felt like. He became quite close with Eli and Demetri sticking with them, despite an offer from the popular kids to come hang out. They really only liked his look and he knew that. He was content with where he was at, despite having to take his meds on the regular and caring for himself most of the time.
