Mile's P.O.V:

It has been three years...

Three whole years since me and Apo stopped meeting secretly.

Three years since he was forced to go to war.

During those three years I established myself as the future king of Siam as our enemies at the borders started decreasing more and more.

Since the day he left the palace was strangely quiet and felt even lonelier then before he came.

And worst of all it was all my fault...

If only I didn't love him he might be here now...Laughing with me and keeping me company.

I looked down when I felt someone tugging at my pant side and saw my daughter then my son came right behind her.

She smiled brightly as soon as I looked at her.

Twins with the boy born first and they just turned three.

"Aren't you going to play with them? They're your children after all aren't they?" Nook asked.

"Do it yourself...You seem to have a lot of free time in your hands but I have other things to work on" I said.

The two children looked between us.

I knelt down next to my children.

Even though I refused to look at them sometimes I still couldn't hate them.

I picked their names myself...

The girl was Lalin and the boy was Linkwan.

It wasn't their fault that their mother and me weren't on good terms.

So I decided to try my best to make sure they won't become like her in the future.

A spoiled woman who doesn't care about people and their feelings.

I don't want that for them.

"Lalin and Linkwan your grandmother is willing to keep you company...Your father has to help your grandfather with a few things" I said.

Then hugged them and kissed their cheeks before calling over a servant to take them to my mother.

They were taken away shortly after.

"When are you going to stop treating me like this?" Nook asked.

"I was clear about everything from the start wasn't I? I never said that I'd treat you better if there are kids involved" I said.

"So you really love that man more then me?" She asked.

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Did I ever love you in the first place?" I asked.

Then walked past her.

A servant told me that a messenger from the borders arrived.

I went to the throne room and sat down next to my mother.

"Your highness...Your grace...I'm here to inform that we need more help at our borders and that the king and the rest of the army are in a difficult situation" He said.

"What about the king? Is he safe?" My mother asked.

"His grace is in good health" The messenger said.

I opened my mouth to ask about Apo but decided not to since my mother was here.

"And what of the sorcerer?" She asked.

"The sorcerer's health is declining" He said.

I looked up immediately.

"What do you mean declining?" I asked.

"Did he help a lot?" My mother asked.

"Yes your grace he helped us a lot his magic was truly outstanding he killed most of the enemies" He said.

"You're dismissed" I said.

So he left.

I stood up and walked out of the room leaving my mother to deal with the rest.

Bible's P.O.V:

I let the pigeon fly out of the window after I was done writing my message.

I just hoped that it won't fall into the wrong hands.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said.

Then a young servant girl walked into the room.

"Young master the servants are asking about the medical supplies" She said.

"Tell them that I'm almost done with it but they should use it carefully because most of the supplies are going to the soldiers" I said.

She nodded.

Then I asked two of the guards at the door to come help with carrying the boxes.

I closed the door and went to find Mile.

He was at the training ground.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

He took an arrow and put it to the bow.

"I'm training" He said.

I grabbed the arrow and threw it to the floor.

"You should be helping...Or have you forgotten that you should plan the war strategies?" I asked.

He sighed heavily and nodded then grabbed another arrow.

"Mile...You're wasting all our efforts you..." I started.

But was surprised when he started laughing.

"They forced him to kill people...Can you believe it? Apo killed all those people...My father knew about his magic all along didn't he? He only wanted him to be a weapon" Mile said.

"Mile...When are you going to grow up?" I asked.

Then grabbed his shoulders.

"You're twenty two years old now yet you're behaving like a child...What did you think? That someone gifted like Apo will have an easy life? Even if you wanted him by your side what can you possibly do to keep him there forever? The king was bound to know in the end...And this was going to happen anyway no matter how long you two kept this secret" I said.

He didn't say anything.

Then took another arrow and put it to the bow.

I slapped him.

"You're weak...You're so weak...And you know why? Because even after all that has happened you're wasting your talent in war and doing this instead...How long are you going to stay like this?" I asked angrily.

Then grabbed his collar.

"I'll tell you one last thing...You're here doing nothing and Apo is still protecting you...You're ignoring him and the soldiers at the borders and everyone else who's risking their lives out there to keep out home safe" I said.

Then let go of his collar and turned to leave.

"I really feel sorry for our people...Falling into your hands someday will be their worst punishment" I said.

Then left.

(The next day)

Mile's P.O.V:

I went to the meeting with Bible.

There was a map in front of us.

"We won't go through the water stream way...We're going to hid in the mountains near the streams...I received word that the enemies at the borders are sending reinforcements through the way of the stream...We'll hide in the mountains and attack them from up" I said.

The other soldiers in the room nodded.

"Bible...You're coming with us since your help is needed at the medical sector" I said.

He smiled and nodded.

"Of course your highness" He said.

"We must leave right now so that we'll have the upper hand...Get your stuff and let's leave right away" I said.

The soldiers left the room and I went to my room.

Bible followed me.

"I knew you'd come...I just didn't when" He said.

"You were right all along...I should have been there more from the start" I said.

"Well...I'm glad you finally are...It's never too late" He said chuckling.

I smiled and nodded.

"I just hope he'll forgive me" I said.

Bible didn't say anything but patted my shoulder.

"Let's leave...The army can't leave without its leader" He said.

So we packed our stuff and left.

My mother and Nook and my two children were there to see me off.

I smiled at my mother and hugged my children then left.

We arrived at the mountains after two nights of walking and immediately set camp.

Then waited for our enemies to show.

They showed up after two days and made their way to the water stream.

I told the soldiers to attack.

Then picked up my bow and arrow and started shooting at the soldiers from up the mountain.

The soldiers with me started doing the same.

Then we got down from the mountains and I took out my sword and started killing the soldiers who came my way.

I turned to Bible who was using his arrows to kill whoever came to attack me from the back.

After sometime the enemy reinforcements were all killed.

But I had a feeling that it wasn't supposed to be that easy.

Something was wrong.

I turned just in time and raised the sword in front of me to stop an arrow that was targeted to my head.

That wasn't all their reinforcements.

"Should we retreat?" Bible asked.

I shook my head.

"We must go to the king" I said.

The enemy soldiers started attacking us.

We retreated back to the mountains and started firing arrows at the soldiers.

"SET THEM ON FIRE" I yelled.

Then the soldiers started shooting fire arrows at them.

(Four days later)

Apo's P.O.V:

Someone was talking...

I could hear a voice but I couldn't recognise it nor could I guess what they were saying.

I felt a strong pain in my head and my heart was beating really fast...

It was so difficult to move yet alone open my eyes.

I felt myself getting dragged somewhere.

I used the little strength I had left and put my hand on that person.

Then chanted a spell.

The person screamed in agony and let me fall to the ground.

I crawled aimlessly until I could no longer move.

Then decided to just rest.

I opened my eyes when I heard horses coming my way.

I pushed myself up using my hands and looked at the horses angrily.

When will this ever end?

Just die already...

Mile's P.O.V:

I followed the enemy forces to the King's camp but was startled when I saw them getting torn up by thin air.

Apo...

The enemy forces started screaming in pain before getting torn apart.

Apo moved his hands and the swords on the ground started flying his way.

He moved his hands again and started attacking the rest of the enemies.

But he didn't stop at just our enemies he started attacking us as well.

I got off my horse quickly and ran over to him.

Our soldiers tried to attack him.

"STAND BACK THAT'S AN ORDER" I yelled.

They stopped trying to attack him.

A whirlwind started forming behind Apo as I tried to make my way over to him.

The air was protecting him and I felt my face and limbs hurting as I tried to break into the barrier.

"APO" I screamed.

"MILE STOP YOU CAN'T STOP HIM" I heard Bible's voice yell over the sound of the wind.

I finally made it inside the barrier but my arm was bleeding and I couldn't stand on my feet any longer.

I used the little strength I had left and put my hands on his shoulders then hugged him.

I felt him hugging me back then my shoulder was wet with his tears as he kept murmuring my name.
